We're just about to start the Chainless event, which kind of kicks off the weekend.
It's a really fun event.
So this one's a little different, you take the chain off your bike.
You kind of rely on not pedaling as much and more just like your momentum.
[music] I can go?
We're starting pretty close to the top.
Kind of the top of the trail, we call it Cheese Grater.
We modified a little bit to the grass, made it a little bit more interesting for this year.
[music] And then we go onto a trail called Smorgasbord.
It's pretty fun.
Lots of berms, some jumps, a little bit of rocks.
It's not the gnarliest trail necessarily, but it's the perfect trail for kind of a fun event.
[music] I've been riding my whole life, so 15 years or so, yeah.
There's a few key sections on the trail to me.
Kind of make or break sections where you don't want to crash.
My thought process is more like instead of having to rely on pedaling, just rely on carrying my speed, being nice and smooth.
[cheering] Go, go, go!
[music] I really enjoy this event just cause it's it's really fun.
Like it's not as serious as some of our other events.
It's just a way to like, have some fun, ride with buddies.
You know.
I felt alright in some spots.
I was laughing when [talking continues] The Slice, from PBS North.
