We wanted to take a closer look at this important program that educate students and adult drivers.
It is a program that can potentially save lives.
There are so many benefits of having students walk, walking and rolling to school.
It helps their mentality.
They're happy.
They love being out with their friends.
being able to get that active participation of about one hour a day being fit.
but it also helps reduce our pollution that we get in the air and it helps reduce traffic congestions within schools, which is a big deal right now.
Sometimes I write it halfway, and then, I ride my bike, because I don't want to get into, like, an accident So my grandma drove.
I stayed here.
I get to talk to my friends after school, So Rocket Rolls is a new collaboration between 60 police services and safe routes to school.
And it's an interactive red dog that is on this screen.

Awesome job.
Great job.
I really thought that they made it fun and easy to learn about at the same time.
the most powerful tool that we have is just education.
one thing that I want to teach kids, the most important thing is to be safe, to use your senses, to look for vehicles, to listen and make it.
Just make sure that you stop not be in such a hurry to slow down a little bit and look for cars.
Do you do that and say a lot of safety?
So we're going to demonstrate how to properly wear a helmet.
Can I get somebody to come up here to demonstrate wearing a helmet?
Yes, sir.
What's your The Safe Houses School program is federally funded.
There's actually a safe route to school program in every state.
We also do other programs throughout the day to educate our students about bike mechanics, bike safety and young driving safety.
we don't just focus on students.
We reach out to our community members and our parents and people that drive on a day to day basis.
just slow down, show a little bit of kindness and a little bit of patience.
And that's the most important thing.
These are not only kids, but they might be your kids.
