Defense attorneys for the man charged with Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour or murder now say investigators recovered two different sets of shell casings outside her townhouse complex where she was shot.
According to NJ Advance Media at a Monday court hearing.
Defense attorneys said ballistics from two different weapons suggest two shooters were involved in the crime.
So far, only Rasheed Ali Bynum, a Portsmouth, Virginia, man, has been charged with murder and weapons offenses in her killing.
The state has maintained he was the lone shooter.
Bynum last year pleaded not guilty and intends to stand trial, which is slated to begin April 8th.
