You say you love me but you don't play nice Leave me here while you walk away If you can't think of a reason to stay How many times have you said to me?
I'll be the one to set you free I'm walking on ice They said I'd hate to watch you leave Their wicked words I wont believe Said you'll be back but I'm no fool We both know you don't play by the rules How many times have you said to me?
I'll be the one to set you free I'm walking on ice Now youre here who would've guessed It's time I got this off my chest Been burned too many times before I can't do this anymore I can't do this anymore How many times will I be left behind I've got a feeling youll be just fine How many times have you said to me I'll be the one to set you free How many times will I be left behind Ive got a feeling youll be just fine I'm walking on ice That was walking on ice We are a Train to Nowhere.

Karaoke in that little town You walk in with her and I want to down Every drink in the bar To forget who you are Borrowed a shirt, wore your favorite tight jeans I shook it a little when I walked up to sing I knew I had your eyes You cannot disguise I never believed in soul mates, but I know you do So maybe in another life itll be us two But I know you love her So heres Just Another Song About You When you kissed me outside I said “you're insane” You lean in close, whisper my name And squeeze my hand Im in your command again I never believed in soul mates, but I know you do So maybe in another life itll be us two But I know you love her So heres Just Another Song About You It didnt take us long to fall apart, but Even though you broke my heart I let you back in any time you wanted I never believed in soul mates (but I know you do) So maybe in another life (itll be us two) I bet you never think of me but I always knew I loved you (I loved you) I loved you (I loved you) And I know it's sad, to need what I never had But I know you love her So heres Just Another Song About You Jamie walked through the door Uncertainty in her eyes, but one thing's for sure She had a guitar She played it like an old friend, and the room fell in love with her hands Jamie walked down the street Fire in her eyes but no one else could feel the heat She had her old boots on Shell never get rid of them; theyve taken her everywhere shes been Jamie, youre doin it right Taking one step at a time, oh Dont act so tough, Ill call your bluff Jamie wont you be mine?
Jamie wont you be mine?
Jamie walked into me We locked eyes, oh cant you feel the energy She had her hands full Shell never know my name, but I think I love her just the same I love her just the same Jamie, youre doin it right Taking one step at a time, oh Dont act so tough, Ill call your bluff Jamie wont you be mine?
Jamie wont you be mine?
Jamie walk through the door Jamie dont you want more Jamie walked into me Jamie made me believe Jamie made me believe Jamie, youre doin just fine Taking your sweet ol time Dont be a fool, lets break the rules Jamie wont you be mine?
Jamie won't you be mine?
Tell me it'll be fine Tell me itll be okay This fragile heart of mine Won't get lost or thrown away Tell me I am all you want That I'm everything you need And I'll give you my heart I'll give you everything You know I've been good I've accomplished what I could I've been down a thousand roads Carried many heavy loads You know I've been strong I know at times that I've been wrong But you see deeper than my skin And you love me even then Love ain't always easy Love ain't always fair When you're sick and sneezy When you're holding back my hair Love is always gentle Love is patient, love is kind Even when I'm temperamental Even when you've lost your mind You know I've been good I've accomplished what I could I've been down a thousand roads Carried many heavy loads You know Ive been strong I know at times that I've been wrong But you see deeper than my skin And you love me even then Even when you're far away Even on our darkest days Even when we've been to hell and back again I know itll be fine I know itll be okay I want you by my side Even when we're old and gray You know I've been good I've accomplished what I could Ive been down a thousand roads Carried many heavy loads You know I've been strong I know at times that I've been wrong Yeah, you see deeper than my skin And you love me then You know I've been good I've accomplished what I could I've been down a thousand roads Carried many heavy loads You know I've been strong I know at times that I've been wrong But you see me in the light You still know you got it right Yeah, you see deeper than my skin And you love me even then You don't make plans I stare intently at the clock I re-read our conversations You like it better when we don't talk And I wish I could ignore The time you held my hand in the car But you don't remember that ride You're not the sentimental type It hangs on my wall That dried-up, dusty, old rose It was wrapped in “I love yous” You say you bought it as a joke.
And I wish I could forget The time you saved me from your cigarette But you don't remember that night You're not the sentimental type You act like a robot, wipe your memory clean Best damn magic trick I think I've ever seen I daydream about our talks You tell me “let it go” I wish I was more like you Id never let you know And I wish I could forget The times you made me sweat But you don't think of us as partners in crime And you can't recall the color of my eyes And you won't admit you ever made me cry.. no You're not the sentimental type Theres Bacardi on the floor From a party 3 months ago And I've been feeling pretty bored For the last year or so So I turn the TV on I guess that's just life And I've been trying to guard my heart From the honesty And unwind the yarn Of these darkened dreams Throw my shit out in the lawn Start all over I never thought I'd be one of the broken ones But I'm starting to think everybody is I never thought I'd be one of the lonely ones But I'm starting to think everybody is The coffee tables getting full That I got from grandmas house And she's getting pretty old Having trouble walking now And the house got sold Along with those memories You just try to get along Everyone's the odd man out Find yourself a steady job 40 years and you're on the outs When the money's all gone And the world's on fire I never thought I'd be one of the broken ones But I'm starting to think everybody is I never thought I'd be one of the lonely ones But I'm starting to think everybody is Ooh oh oh - Growing up aint what it seems Ooh oh oh - Living live in front of a screen Ooh oh oh - Growing up aint what it seems Ooh oh oh - Living live in front of a screen I never thought I'd be one of the broken ones But I'm starting to think everybody is I never thought I'd be one of the lonely ones But I'm starting to think everybody is.
Sure, he texts me once in a while And he certainly can make me smile And hes been my rock in times where I was broken and alone Yes, he holds a beat-up part of my tired, ever-loving heart And hes someone I can still talk with for hours on the phone But youre the free space in my brain The one who drives me insane The only one that I write songs about The one I couldnt stand to live without Youre the only one that does what you do to me The only one baby why cant you see?
He and I have history I bet you that hed die for me Weve been through hell, weve fought our way through bright and burning flames But Id never let him pull these stunts the way you just put up a front, no Id never in my life put up with him playing your games But youre the free space in my brain The one who drives me insane The only one that I write songs about The one I couldnt stand to live without Youre the only one that does what you do to me The only one baby why cant you see?
I wish that I could do something about it I wish that I could break free of your spell I wish that I could find a way around it I guess Ill have to settle for this hell ‘cause youre the free space in my brain The one who drives me insane The only one that I write songs about The one I never want to live without Youre the only one that does what you do to me The only one baby why cant you see?
