It is a place where we can come together, we can create community, we can create connection through the arts.
That's what John Wanamaker wanted when he installed the largest functioning pipe organ in the world in this incredible space.
Opera is a coming together.
It brings together music, with theater, with dance, with poetry, with art.
And there's fashion in the costumes, and there's set design, there's all kinds of things.
So just like the Wanamaker, opera can bring everything together.
And it takes a village to bring the village here.
