Both New York state and environmental groups have long agreed that action is needed to address overuse and overcrowding in the Adirondacks—and they are largely united on the state's most recent efforts to tackle it. The High Peaks Strategic Planning Advisory Group will explore ways to maintain the delicate balance between economic activity and resource preservation in the state's largest park.
