Adnan Alkhalili co-founded a group to destigmatize mental health-related concerns

In Wayne, one 16-year-old wants to end the stigma of mental health among youth. Adnan Alkhalili says that’s why he along with a co-founder created Free The Bird, an organization that provides outreach and awareness for youngsters who are struggling with mental health issues. Here the high school junior discusses why so many young people are suffering in silence.
