After 8 years, Hawaii sees decline in homelessness rate
Hawaii leads the nation in its rate of homelessness, which affects about 505 out of every 100,000 people there and is a major toll on its health care system. But just last month, the state announced a slight decrease in this ratio for the first time in eight years.
