Discrimination against people with Hispanic surnames alleged in Millville municipal court
New Jersey is suing the city of Millville over allegations of discrimination in the municipal court system. Millville's municipal court is accused of requiring litigants who were perceived to be Spanish speakers based on their last names to appear in person for proceedings, while other people were offered the option of remote appearances.
