- I'm doing well.

And did you tell me you've been in the military before?
- Yes, sir.
I spent 30 years with the United States Army and retired.
And we currently live there in the Huntsville area with my wonderful wife of forty-five years.
- Awesome!
Traveled all around the world.
- Yes sir.
Around the world in 30 years.
- 30 years.
- Yes, sir.
- You still know how to salute?
- Yes sir, I do.
- Well, all those veterans and people, can you salute them out there?
- Well, I'll tell you what, we appreciate any time that you've contributed to the service of our country, regardless of which branch and I salute you.

So now, have you been, were you singing all the time while you were in the military?
You've been singing?
- Well, I was just a, I was a combat armed soldier, but I did, I did sing anywhere I went, just serving alongside and sharing compositions wherever we could.
And wherever I was, the guitar was there with me.
- Great, so you sing, you write a lot of your songs.
- Yes sir, we do.
In fact, the songs that I'm sharing with you today are my compositions.

He's been pastor there since 1983.
Born in Green County, moved to Tuscaloosa at the age of five, educated in the Tuscaloosa County school system.
Graduated from Boteler High School.
His other schoolings include the Shelton State Community College, Birmingham Baptist College, Miles and Samford.
Dr. Moore is a leader in so many areas and we just salute him today in all the work he's doing.
He's married to the former Barbara Robertson and they have three sons, and all of them in full-time ministry.

Where you from?
- I'm from Dayton, Ohio.
- Okay.
- But I moved in 2004 to the center Alabama area, which is Weiss Lake, the crappie capital of the world.
- Ah, you're giving me some state facts.

And so, now, you attend church in that area?
- Well, I'm full-time.
We go up in Fort Payne, but I'm full-time music.
I was a member of Gold City for several years.
- That's right.
- And then I was with solo for 10 and joined a group four years ago and back solo.
So, I wanna be home more and be with my family.
- Got it.
- And so, still share my heart, but not 200 plus days a year.
- I got you.
