Got Michael behind the camera there.
He's gonna help me out with this, all right, our golden vessel is a resident of Adamsville, Alabama.
His name is Mr. Johnny Keys, Jr.
He was born in Uniontown, Alabama and he has a blended and blessed family of eight children and some grandchildren along with that.
He worked in the coal mines for 29 and a half years.
He also worked at Stockham for about 10 years, too.
Great work career and did an excellent job where he worked.
He's a member of the St. Paul AME Church.
He's a member of the trustee board and a member of the choir, yes, he can sing as well.
He's been married to his wife, Trina, for 17 years.
And I want to add this too, as you can see his picture, that man is a sharp dresser every time you see him.
So we salute him and we appreciate him so very much.
Our Golden Vessel salute goes out to Mr. Johnny Keys, Jr. and we dedicate the entire "Alabama Gospel Roots" show tonight to you, sir.

- I have two children, one is 31 and the other one's 17, and she's about to graduate, so kudos.

- My first daughter's name is Brianna Chandler-Young and Morgan Schaal.

Clarke of Birmingham, Alabama.
He's pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Birmingham.
And he was born in Bessemer, Alabama, spent some time in Warrior, graduated from Abrams High School, and he's actually the 10th pastor of New Hope Baptist Church located in West End.
He's got a whole lot of accolades behind him, his wife, sister Regina, they are doing a great job at New Hope Baptist Church.
And we wanna say tonight to my friend, the Reverend Dr. Gregory L Clarke, that we are proud of the work that you do, have done, and will do.

- We're about 40 minutes from here.

- It's probably about a good 45 minutes to an hour from there.

So now to name the city I should know by now, but you tell me once again, 'cause every time you say it out there, you get more support.
- We're actually from a community called Pea Ridge, which is seven miles west of Montevallo.
- Pea Ridge, that's what I was trying to get to, Pea Ridge.
And did you get in touch with, the people get in touch with you rather, since they saw you last on the show?
