She's a lot of work in this city.

Since the Chamber has helped us, why is it important for every citizen to play a part?

Yes, I think it's very important to just show the community, the closeness of the community, showing the relationship where everybody wants to be involved.

And there's so much going on around here in the community that you don't know about.

And so I love to be able to be a voice for everybody to get out and just show what we have here in Pell City.

And as you see, Pell City is such a beautiful place.

Now tell us the name of your church and where it's located.

- Okay.

We're the Word Center Ministries.

We're off of Alabama Highway 77 South, going towards Talladega.

- All right.

And how long have you been pastoring there?

- I've been pastoring there.

I planted the church back in 2017.

- 2017.

How long were you thinking about it before you planted the church?

- God put it in my spirit about three years before that, but I've been preaching since 2005.

- Aha.

Great.

So tell me the specialty of your ministry.

Do you focus in on any particular thing, young folk?

Tell me about that.

- Yeah, we have a growing young adult population, but we are a Five-Fold ministry.

We are an apostolic center and apostolic hub, so we teach in ministry gifts.

So we do intercessory training, prophetic training on Tuesday nights.

We do discipleship, you name it, Five-Fold, we do it.

- Okay.

Tell me what you do outside the walls now.

- So outside the walls, I'm a part of the Apostolic Cohort for Alabama, but I'm also a professor at Jacksonville State University.

I've been in education the last 19 years, and I started a school last year called Reformation Academy.

- All right, professor.

Professor, we mighty glad to have you on here teaching like you teach.

All right, are you married?

- I am, I'm married.

I'm married to the wonderful Rebecca Williams out of Texas.

We have three beautiful daughters.

I have a 13 year old, Kailynn, a 10 year old, Karis, and a eight year old, Kaysley.

- All right, then you got 'em straight, man.

You were thinking down there 'cause, so 'cause you got some, you got probably got a few names, nicknames, and daddy names.

- Absolutely, yeah.

- And you had to think past that, right?

- Yeah, yeah.
