AMNA MEANS PEACE, a film by Sidikha Ashraf.
In this lighthearted comedy, Amna keeps annoying her older sister Rafaha with declarations about changing the world. When Amna says she’s going to stop global warming and promote equal rights, Rafaha says, “good luck with that.” But Amna proves her cynical sister wrong by showing her that you’re never too young to care.

We're not going to any protest.
Okay, we'll-- I'll make it up to you, and we can go to the mall instead.
Mm-hmm.
Amna, you fold this.
- (chanting softly) (Rafaha speaks quietly) AMNA: "Define protest."
"A statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something."
What does that even mean?
- Do you not see I'm busy?
Do you have a fetal pig to dissect?
Go back to your work.
AMNA: Rafaha, I'm going to stop global warming.
- No, you're not.
A polar bear would probably eat you first.
- Rafaha, I'm going to make sure everyone else has equal rights.
- Good luck with that.
AMNA: Rafaha, I'm going to end violence against women.
RAFAHA: Let's see if you can approach a male chauvinist first.
AMNA: Rafaha, everything's so sad.
Honor killings don't make sense.
And murder's haram.
- You're haram.
- No, I'm going to save Syria and free Palestine.
- Can you get me a cookie first?
- I'm going to bring back those Nigerian schoolgirls.
Boko-whatever can tussle with that.
RAFAHA (laughs): Okay.
To be honest, Amna, you're too young to do any of this.
So, keep dreaming, and dream quietly.
- Meanie.
(text alert sounds) RAFAHA: Oh, for the last time.
Gloria, I don't want to go to a protest.
- I want to go to a protest-- let's go.
CROWD: The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
