Just a lot of films kind of from the '60s and '70s.
It was a very experimental time in filmmaking.
It was very playful, and I enjoy being playful.
I think that the medium has a lot to offer in and of itself.
So I don't just want to tell the story, I want the telling of the story to be part of the story.
So in the jump cuts, it's that skipping, it's you know, kind of getting in there, finding the the ways that she's feeling in the skipping, the manic nature of her mind.
I really enjoy kind of creating an aesthetic for a film.
So kind of all throughout the process of making it I was definitely trying to sort of think back on what do I want this to look like?
What do I want the overall feeling of the film to be?
So that came through in the art pieces.
So I made the collage myself, I went out and found the dresses she was wearing.
I, you know, I rearranged the furniture to kind of recreate what was in my head and I think that was a lot of fun for me.
