(audience laughs) Every night, I must tell you, it's the most beautiful aria ever composed for tenors, composed by Giacomo Puccini from his opera Turandot.
And of course they are going to sing Nessun Dorma.
Nessun Dorma was the very last aria Puccini composed before he died.
The way these three fantastic tenors sing this aria is really unbelievable.

Marjorie, my wife, and me, every Sunday morning we take a walk here in our beautiful province, Limburg.

And the most beautiful thing that can happen then is that there is a fanfare passing by.

It's so beautiful.
And because I know that you come from all over the world, I had the idea to show you how that sounds here on the big square.

So, through radio and internet, I asked brass players from the whole country if they were interested to play with us tonight.
And I thought 40, 50 will be interested.

There they are, the biggest fanfare of the Netherlands!

At Christmas time, even three high masses a day.

There comes the head nurse and she puts a DVD of your joyful orchestra in the player and suddenly my patients don't need me anymore.

(André speaking a foreign language) Nothing goes as deep into your soul as music.
And I hope that I can go on making music together with my fantastic orchestra the rest of my life.

When I know that a piece of music touches my heart, I'm sure it will touch your heart.
Some time ago we had auditions for a new soprano in my studio here in Maastricht.
And a lot of sopranos came and they all sang fantastically.
And then a young lady entered my studio and the moment she started to sing, she immediately touched my heart and I knew this soprano is going to sing on the big square.
She's going to sing a magnificent song composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber from his musical The Phantom of the Opera.
And of course she's going to sing the most beautiful song, "Think of Me."
And she really sings it like an angel.

A little girl with a terrible disease and a golden voice.
With this golden voice, she touched all the hearts of the people here on the square.
Everybody was in tears.
Before the first rehearsal, I asked her, "Do you want to go on tour with us around the world?"
"Yes, of course," she said.
And now, we are touring the world.
She's sung in Berlin, in London, in Paris, in Vienna, in Mexico, everywhere.
She's touching the hearts of the people.
And tonight she is here.

And the person who helped me making my dream come true André asked me who the person is.

"Every night playing in another city, all this traveling?"
Not at all.
We are a bunch of friends.
We have a lot of fun together.
Not only here on stage, but also during our long journeys around the world.
In our buses, in the planes, in the hotels, in the bar.
(audience laughs) Lately we were in a bar and one of the ladies in my choir is from Greece.
And spontaneously she started to sing a song from her country in the bar.
And the whole bar singing along with her, it was an atmosphere I will never forget.
All the people who were already in bed, they came down to sing with her.
I asked her, "Why don't you sing this lovely Greek song on the big square in Maastricht?"
