Forsyth is a former Secret Service agent from Lyon County.
He's also an attorney.
In his video announcement, he criticizes the Trump tax cut bill.
He says it cuts important programs that help families like his.
Forsyth joins Pamela Stephenson, the state House minority leader in the Democratic race.
