another Wildfire has broken out this one in Washington Township Burlington County it comes as the state forest fire service today gave a glimpse of what could be ahead this season after three major wildfires ripped through the state just last week according to recent data it's already been an unusually active year with 517 wildfires so far burning more than 7 600 acres the rise and wildfires is due to weather conditions and climate factors like no snowfall in the southern half of the State high winds low humidity and a warm season that's extended by about a month on average State officials say the Three Fires from last week are contained but still smoldering so they're not completely out they were in Manchester Ocean County West Milford Passaic County and Little Egg Harbor also in Ocean County [Music]
