Anti-gouging bill aims to protect consumers

Regular unleaded gas in New Jersey now about $4.77

There’s now a push to make sure oil companies are not taking advantage of drivers as the price of gas continues to rise. The House recently passed the Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act. Under the measure, companies found guilty of manipulating the market would be penalized. The bill now heads to the Senate for approval.
