As the anniversary of the Kent State shooting approaches, we look back at the Black United Students, a campus organization that advocated for rights for African American students and the end of the Vietnam War. And we bring you the story of a ten-year-old girl who wrote about the turbulent times surrounding May 4th in her diary as they took place just a couple blocks from her home.
