(gentle music) The federal delegation is holding a series of summits aimed at empowering economic standing within the AAPI community.
Focused on connecting local community members with leaders and resources at the federal level.
(gentle music) Community leaders say the last three years have been tough.
Organizers say limited outreach and language barriers inhibited community members from applying for federal grants, jobs, and programs.
(gentle music) In 2021, president Biden issued an executive order to advance equity and opportunities acknowledging the hardships of tragic acts of anti-Asian violence, disproportionate health burdens, and devastating economic losses.
