He vetoed the pay raise for state lawmakers, Constitutional officers, and himself.
#### The governor also vetoed a bill allowing lawyers to carry guns anywhere, including courtrooms.
In his veto message, the governor said courtrooms are filled with emotions and tension.
The Courier-Journal reports Chief Justice John Minton and the Fraternal Order of Police oppose the bill.
#### Lawmakers will have the chance to override the governor's vetoes, when they reconvene for two days, starting Wednesday.
#### The state says the general fund was up nine percent, from last March to this March, when it topped a billion dollars.
The fund is up more than 13 percent for the first nine months of the fiscal year.
The road fund was up almost seven percent - at 141 million dollars for March.
