The state’s death toll is increasing as we near the peak of the coronavirus outbreak.
Wednesday’s numbers show another highest single-day increase in fatalities -- now at 1,504 with 275 new deaths being reported. Other than New York, New Jersey has more positive cases than any other state in the country with 47,437 total and 3,088 new positive tests reported.
