Ticket on Mark three.
Let's find out how these two teams got here.
And we'll start with County Line because they're the favorite coming into it.
They came from the bottom half of the bracket.
They routed Bradley, who knocked them off in the championship game a year ago.
They handle business against Clairton and they did the same thing against the early county lines, the favorite.
And they looked like it had been the favorite all year long.
And nobody has really contested them so far.
Look at Mark three coming from the top half of the bracket.
They take care of Mobile Lane and the second round coach.
Well, you don't see much about this when they took down your new school.
5654.
I saw that one up close and personal.
It wasn't very fun, but they're a really good team and, you know, we'll see if they can match Kelly tonight.
They finished business in the semifinals handle and Brinkley by a dozen.
But who were the players to watch as we've got Mark free and county line appear Indians to face the player to watch for county line or he wears number zero Andre Milam 619 points nine rebounds a game they lost him at six two.
It seems like he plays a whole lot larger than that.
He plays a whole lot larger than Bobby and he's just such a great athlete, does so many things in the shoot and he has rebounded.
He can pass it long, he tips balls.
He really affects the game in a lot of different ways.
And once he settled down in this championship game last year, he really took it over in time.
So for Mark Terry, there are 29 and three head coach Barbara Wilborn.
They're going to rely on a sophomore guard, KENYON Carter.
He works number five, 17 points per game and he can really do it on every level, those on the floor offensively he can.
And in the games that we had scouted on them, he got into the paint, pull up jumpers.
And as fate would have it, he had a big one on us light, same way.
He's really good at that.
When you think about the keys to this game, we'll start with County Line.
They're the favorite.
All the pressure is on Coach Joe Brunson and Company 44 and coming to this they lost on a three last year that was you know not going to say a miracle but a really tough shot that went in at the buzzer.
This this year's all been all about redemption.
It is.
And I think he's got them ready.
He just gave us the thumbs up.
He's got his signature khakis and gray sweater on.
He's ready to go.
And they scored all five positions.
He's been one of the calmest coaches you'll ever see on the sideline is there you see the full starting line up for county line.
Check the starting units for Coach Wilburn and Company, Carter Childs, Marshall, Lewis and Walker.
And let's keep an eye on Joe the Walker number 15, a six foot six sophomore averages 14 points per game.
The ball goes up and we are ready for the one AA title game set.
Play off the chip and Kelly line right to work Tripp Johnston lay in for two county line Got to use that link open it up in his own 131 See how Mark Shreve counteracts that link trying to get the passing lanes shots that goes baseline A little floater is good Danny Childs 510 junior He gives up the score to a pair of piece Good start for them because to me a big key is how they handle the 131 kind of nice move, start and finish in that.
So they're going to have to handle it down the line working on this and we're in the red unis trimmed out and silver mile on shots deflected for Walker the six foot six sophomore alters the shots you can see how far Mark Tyrese got the offense because of that zone so early on the shot clock for more tre we're in the white unis trimmed down and blue and Joel three ball left wing KENYON Carter is good you mentioned it coach he can shoot it 17 points a game mark three out 5 to 2 trips They've handled the one, three one they've handled a length to us.
What's the key to handling his own like that?
You know, to me it's getting into it off the dribble penetration.
Not very many teams can do that.
That's three well short from Johnson Mark three going to try to push the tempo these two teams can score county line average in 17 contests mark three at about 65 points.
Here's Marshall kicks it back out to Carter swinging around the perimeter Hey walk ball movement can't hold the ball against his own They swing it around for Scott County line defense to move the feet shuffle and rotate but it took off before dribble has a good look at coach Barbara Wilburn leading the mark Tre Indians spinning their defense a little here county line tries to get inside the lane Nice move by Johnson can't get it to go mile only off of the rebound His pull back will go and mark Tyrese out with it Maybe some nerves early on it's coming lines missed a few point blank shots an offensive foul Nice job get back offensively you think he's got a fast break opportunity but Kelby runs right there and forces the turnover he'll be never misses a chance to to draw a charge I mean he's probably the state record holder in drawing charges he gets his feet set, gets the ball going back the county line.
It's 5 to 2 as we play here in the first Delaware missed their last four shots haven't scored in over 2 minutes.
He's right on the right side now Work it inside the Johnson Ball fake gets the defenders in the air.
He misses it though and now we've got a tie ball arrow is going to point to Mark Curry again.
I'm going to have to tell myself to not say the mascots of these two teams because, well, they're the same going on the Indians.
Yeah.
So if I say the Indians, I'm going to be 100% right here.
We're going to have to guess which one of this what's the key to settling down in a big time atmosphere like this?
Is it making a shot?
Is it playing defense, you know, for Kenny line, right now, they need to see one go in close.
You know, I've never seen them miss two or three of the shots they've missed so far.
But both teams got it a little bit early.
Mylan rejects that one out of bounds when he's whistled for the foul is going to send Mark three to the foul line.
Landon Lewis, a six foot sophomore, starting to be a trend with this mark three team one senior on the roster with free throws off the mark foul apiece for these two squads We're talking with Kyle knuckleball on the previous broadcast There hasn't been really anybody struggling in foul trouble thanks to the officiating crew for every game up to this point has let him play.
Yeah that's the way it ought to be here.
One the state championship for the players and also for those guys in the stripes as well.
Tough drive to the lane slotted and he's going to go the other way on March three Interior defense has been tough and Gary Lyon needs to find a way to figure it out.
Johnson is forcing Carter to his left.
Trying to eliminate half the floor is what this one, three one defense is trying to do.
They trapped the corner.
That's a tough space where he can't beat Kelly line forces the turnover they're looking to push the tempo not a loose ball battling it'll be another tie up and arrow is going to keep it on this end of the floor the corners where you can't get stuck against this 131 defense too much length down the line too much.
And they play it so many different ways.
They put pressure on you.
They're back off, they tip balls.
Well, as the line trying to look inside can't get it in and able to get it out to Johnson.
A three ball left side now in shorts Johnson let that one fly.
Scuse me.
That was Drake Price.
Mark Curry is got a 6 to 2 lead as we're inching towards the halfway mark here in this first period soft passing lane.
Too much on it deflected out of bounds and stay with mark three slow go one up to this point one of eight shooting for county line they're going to try to get it run out try to get an easy bucket and they do and one that's the cardinal sin right there.
You can't allow somebody over your head then you allow the chance for a three point play.
As Johnston finishes at the rim first first touch Cooper Watson's had and something good happened You know they they probably to get him involved in the offensive end Watson averages 18 and seven Johnson he pours in 14 points per game he converts to a three point play and at 65 that's the one thing that was really impressive was seeing county line there in the state time is how easily they run out.
You know it's coming and they still find a way to get it done.
Arcuri goes inside out Nice pass in the paint but they're going to say traveled with it maybe one too many passes here for the media time out here in the first quarter.
Mark Curry up six to the I'm feeling out process is going on as you're watching the Centennial Bank state basketball championship on Arkansas.

That's why we've made our Hamburgers Square.
But you want to experience the delicious station with these hamburgers.
Where's the beef?
It's six, five, three out front.
Jamie Lynn, the coach.
We were talking in the break.
It's not 131 defense.
Even though it's the same defense, it's different Every possession.
They have different looks.
Almost every trip down, they'll be tied or they'll trap one time soft, one time, watch the drive one time.
Kind of just got to be ready for everything.
Marjorie's extending the defense out of touch beyond the three point line they get in the mile.
On the left hand, it goes the work.
That one's going to be short battle for the offensive rebound and Watson pulls it down.
Watson goes on attack and he draws a foul.
He's had it to the charity stripe when the 118 goes to the bench and six six is your six, man.
Yeah, he's really good.
Now.
Not a bad luxury to have Kaiden versus the six seven senior, six points, five rebounds.
The first free throw was off the mark.
There's coaches at the six.
Eight level don't have that luxury.
They don't probably start for any other team class in the state.
So other 44 no takes more than five to get the job done.
They get longer.
Yeah, exactly right.
They can kind of play in a multitude of fashions.
Dan County line Mark three got up a three that one way off the mark another scrum four shots blocked by the whistle.
They're going to get two for Watson They're going to say they got him with the body on the arm.
So it's going to send Mark three back to the foul line.
It's first free throws up and good against Mark Curry shooting 50% to start this off but only four field goal attempts turnovers.
Well, they had a chance to take advantage of county line struggling so far two of ten from the field exactly one in and out no good but an offensive rebound.
Nice pass inside.
Couldn't go up with the shot though.
Marshall couldn't corral it.
He's going to try a three though, in the corner, way too strong.
Mylan clears the rebound.
Let's see him go up there.
You've got to size on the block of the offensive rebound.
Try to muscle one up down the line, turns it over Nice help side defense coming across as Landon Lewis with the steal three working it out top you see that zone pressure 20 on the shot clock for Mark Curry Nice dribble drive there kick it to the corner travel couple times have seen that now for mark three just trying to get going a little too fast Well he's got to be ready to shoot it in point guard dribble drives draws three to him and pitches it Maybe young man had a wide open three.
You got to be able to knock it down.
Number one with areas Brown checks in for Mark Duryea six to sophomore he's got the task of guarding Mylan immediately upon checking in a lot of contact out front but I don't say that passes sailed out of bounds and another turnover second then let them play both on both ends the second turnover by county line Mark Trea Mitchell they've only taken four shots.
That's because they've turned it over six times.
2 minutes to play here in the first low scoring affair so far at seven six this Carter in the corner he gives it off three that was way off the mark struggling to find rhythm are these two offenses one of four from distance now is Mark Curry down the line working down a point they go on to three that one's way strong You can see it.
You can kind of feel the nerves.
A little too much intensity between these squads.
Every run out, run out, Brown gets behind the defense.
He's going to go to the foul line.
I mean, we've seen it now oh two for county line one of four for March.
Three is way too much.
He's a little too much energy jacked up, thinking about a little bit too much.
I would suspect both teams probably settle down after the quarter.
And, you know, we're going to be about even looks like after quarter and Brown's first three throws off the mark.
I mean, we expect these two teams to get up and down and we know they can put it through the hoop.
65 points a game for Mark 374 county line, second free throws, good for little areas.
Brown leaves up a two of new snow field goals in the last 524 Mark Curry It's been two and a half minutes since Danny Lyon saw one go through the cylinder.
Got to go in here.
His vest is swinging around Mylan.
He's got range and a spin move kicks it out Ball fake draws the foul.
That's the hardest thing to guard when you've got someone like mile only listed at 6 to 4 more realistically 634.
But he can score pretty much every level on the floor.
And then you want your guy to get up on him and you know, you don't want him to get beat on the drive and give up a shot.
Don't give up a drive.
Danny line works it inside, shots altered, draws the foul and back to the foul line and we'll go Caroline and Cooper Watson What Mylan did right there Bobby before that play is what he's so good at He just draws the defense and gets the ball to a wide open guy.
And you know, Kenwyne has five guys that can really score.
So it's always up and good.
You got to give a lot of credit to Mark Terry.
They are the underdog, if you want to call it that.
They're a number one seed, 29 and three.
They've really weathered the storm and handled the pressure the first 7 minutes of this contest.
And we're leading until those two free throws tied it up.
I like to say that you can't win a game in the first quarter, but you can certainly start to lose one.
Yes.
And they've they've survived.
They have they've had a real poor shooting quarter and percentage wise.
And here we are tied.
They've got a chance to take the lead 43 on the game clock and more.
Trae working around the perimeter still trying to find an answer to the zone mile and to deflects that pass now down to ten to shoot the high post to Brown He drives draws two defenders shots blocked offensive rebounds good Johnson Joel Walker Danny Lyon could choose to hold for the final possession as the shot clock has been turned off ten to shoot.
That's one fly from deep, that one short rebound by Mark Shaw.
He's got to let one go.
Three at the buzzer is going to be well short.
That's going to do it.
First, 8 minutes of play and sealing out process to go longer than maybe we expected.
Mark ten county on eight.

August photos three.
He's got a ten eight lead after one period of play.
They're going to try to add to it and they do three pointer in the corner.
Cameron Marshall knocks one down.
Nice way to start the period.
8 minutes to play coach.
What have you seen from either side as county line Let's one go from deep let's check on my lamb took out a bench over there in it looks like he's going to be all right so we'll start with Mark Turris.
They've got a 12 eight lead, I guess they call that one of two.
What do you see it for those guys?
They got to feel good about it.
I mean, they shot pretty poorly from the ceiling, got a four point lead and it seemed like to me they're getting shots that they want it for.
Kenny line is just they're just struggling to find out from the basket two of 13 shooting.
You know they they have missed some shots and I know they normally hit because I've seen them hit them.
And I would suspect they would probably settle down.
And I expected a lot more of the offensive game.
It seems like we're early boxing match and we're just kind of feeling each other out a little bit.
Still, when you see a game like this and you're and you're struggling to put it through the seven or two of 13, you attack the basket, you try to draw all fouled, you draw something up as what do you do when your team's struggling.
Yeah, I would I would say attack the basket.
Let's get, let's get the easy one, see one go in, let's get on.
The free throw line is make a free throw, which both of these teams are going to attack in the best blocked shot.
They're going to say a time possession arrow going to flip over to county line.
So it's always those games where you think it's going to be high scoring and it's the defensive slugfest.
So you're like it's going to light up the scoreboard and all of a sudden it's going to be 20 to 15 at halftime.
Driving the lane lowers the shoulder off at the foul.
That's 5050 call goes to Mark Terry.
Mark, Trey's quickness, you know, just sliding over get into help positions roll that foul and where we talk about county lines 131 being long and hard but you know Mark trees man is really quick and they help each other and their on ball pressure is really good help defense slides overtakes the charge forces the turnover third turnover the contest by county line Mark Terry now goes to work with the four point lead that's Carter drives late shots short rebound battle for between a pair of county line players.
I got my limbs out in front is going to attack the basket the race at the rim Walker gets back sometimes this is all going against you right now it is for county line credit to mark for his defense, but the Indians forced another turnover Johnson out in front.
Another one blocks.
It's going to keep it on this In that time it was Taylor Marshall who elevated and swatted it away back to back Layups blocked Danny Lane trying to sneak up the pace, try to get some of those easy ones with another clean block and Allen goes out of bounds then newborns in for Kelly line he goes right to the basket he's blocks three straight rejections three corner in the corners good newborn right off the bench.
He gets his shot blocked that he's no matter Berry's one from the corner it just already feels this quarter like Mo things settle down a little bit and the pace is quicker or more intensity on the floor.
All the county line fans are right behind us here at half court.
You start to hear them long, 18 footers off the mark, rebound, pull down by Johnston down the line.
You got a chance to take a lead.
Drive Eurostep.
You travel.
Looks like both teams have really made a point to pick up the pace a little bit.
Kind of expected that.
You see the field goal percentage there.
It's not pretty for county Line.
And the best way to do that is try to attack the rim.
Mark Curry defense seems to be keep getting in the way.
They've got a 1211 lead but Mark Curry hasn't scored in two and a half minutes.
I've seen a lot of these drops as first half Brown lets a three fly.
It's good, but there is.
Brown came off the bench.
He's got four quick points.
That's one way to attack the top of that 131 shoot over and after about 23 or four feet hit one line.
Johnson drives away a little ball fake in the paint can't get it to go nice strong rebound again by Brown He's come in and made an impact off the bench loose ball turns it over again Mark Curry played with the turnover but they've given county a lot of eight extra possessions more to go there for county line They'll have to pick it out and maybe see how they reset the offense wide open.
Look there is good fading fast got position the lob pass got him NC position an easy finish see him use the window of course but easy baskets make it look how long they still are with hoop lots and on the bench you take six or seven out and you still have Mark Terry stretched out to about 30 feet here, about three in the corner high after start off the mark, another scrum for the loose ball.
Nice job to pull down the rebound.
And this call for travel.
That brings us to the media sound out here in the second, the pace and the fun start to pick up what a championship game two point margin.

We're back here when a state championship game and you heard the conversation there, Coach David Ferrell, Bobby Swafford here.
There is Brown's been a huge impact coming off the bench.
He has been big for Mark Terry.
Very good athlete can shoot it from three obviously he's hit one can really attack the basket He's a difference maker for them 26 on the shot clock for county line they trail at 1513 they get it in.
I'm going to try to go to work there.
This shot's altered in the lane.
John Walker's given County Lions offense, especially in the paint all kinds of problems.
Carter's got it top of the key.
We set the offense to that county line zone and really starting to extend itself now on this possession 12 footer.
We'll go another scrum for the loose ball.
Kenny Lyons Got it.
We'll see if they try to push the tempo and they do.
Johnston Well, eight footer off the window, no good.
And another rebound by Walker.
They work it around the perimeter.
Three in the corner, off the mark, mile and clears the rebound for county lines still below 20% from the field as county line Mark Terry just at 36% Eurostep in the lane won't go mark sure he's doing an excellent job on the defensive glass they're making sure the county line gets one shot and that's it.
That's shots of race and others put back those good lights.
One thing, Mark sure he really does a great job.
Offensive rebound.
They've got a huge advantage in the rebounding category 15 to 6 overall.
They've got five offensive rebounds.
My lumps got it.
Right wing.
Now they go back to the top two.
Johnston They're going to work a little baby hook in the lanes too strong and brown.
Another rebound that just uncharacteristically missed three of four right by the basket.
You're going to try to slow it down a touch on this possession.
Catch their breath.
It looks like they go too deep off the bench.
Brown three top of the key.
It's good.
He continues to slide it up off the bench.
And the lead is now seven, the largest in the game, four mark, 320 to 13.
Sally line the favorites.
Got to stop the bleeding.
It's a big minute right here.
Bobby.
One channel left in the first half.
Johnson drives it's cut off defensively Nice job again in the lane Yeah no shots blocked zone a walker having his way out front gave up the foul to stop the easy lane and that's going to send a he is brown to the foul line It's exactly right you got to stop it this last 54 seconds got to find a way to inch back into it cause you're never happy being down as the first three goes off.
Is there a number that I'm going to say feel more comfortable or is it just how you're playing a little momentum going into the break?
Well, just right now, whether he hits his free throw or not, I think it's a big offensive trip for Carolina just to feel good about when you walk in the locker room.
On the flip side of your mark three, you get a stop and a score and that's big, too.
Eight point game 2113 mark True.
He's got the league there is a 19 second differential between the game in shot clock while I'm trying to go to work he's cut off an interior pass vest goes up on it uses the glass is good baby Jesus puts it up and in 2115 Mark Tracy if they decide to hold for the final shot of this first half, watch the 131 here.
Here's where they're really good.
You hold it for the last shot.
Brown checks the high post and they take it back out that the weakness in a131 that high post they're really good at getting a steal here late Bobby kind of watched that yes but with them they cover a high post up with six, seven and 665 on the game clock Brown going to let one fly from deep.
It's off the mark off it's a put back at the horn no good and that's going to do it for the first half of play.
Mark Curry not only going toe to toe with the number one team in the state's got to lead our three 2115 at the half we step aside as we're watching the Centennial big state basketball championship on Arkansas PBS Sports great broadcast of this championship game is made possible by the electric cooperatives of Arkansas.

Let's stay right there.
We've got a lot to share.
Inspired by many of the icons of images taken by sports photographers over the years, a trend known as self-portraits is sweeping social media.
Here's a peek into the epic world of sport portraits that make players look like superstar athletes.
And that's good to see it.
Artist who deserve or need them.
Awesome.
The term that most people who do this type of sports work, they call it portraits.
So I typically ask my teams like, what kind of look do you want?
90% of the time they want a dark background and they want a boxing match and at first it really didn't catch on.
I really had this kind of style of photos since 2014 and back then I wasn't using fog machine or atmosphere aerosol and candles was baby powder.
Baby powder looks really cool, but also very messy.
Don't recommend using it.
So this is my father, a high school senior, and we set his bat on fire.
The kid's name is actually blazing and I have a special mixture that I use it lights and it goes up and my one second is gone.
So you got to be quick take for taking a picture.
The kids really like the fire photos.
I just I can't do it for all my team.
It just takes too long to kind of set up.
Or if your name's Blaze, I mean, if your name's Blaze, we have to.
So I had an idea.
What if I show my behind the scenes on a regular phone?
And what it actually looks like is a professional camera with lighting.
They can just show the difference.
I get people coming in videos.
This could easily be done in Photoshop in like 5 minutes.
I can do it right now in one minute and I don't have to do it later.
The more you can do in-camera, the less post work you have to do is going to make your life so much better.
This has the most views online of any of my reaction videos, and that video was shared by ESPN SportsCenter, and I have a couple of reaction videos that I've posted on TikTok and Instagram that have like over 30 million views.
It makes my job kind of rewarding to actually see people like react that way.
The photos I take, I want these kids and their parents to actually have something that they want to like hanging on the wall.
They want to remember the quality, the, you know, the line.
You know, I got to have this.
The new profile.
You know, creativity and technology are the main ingredients to make portraits come to life for many young athletes.
These photogs give them a chance to shine like stars and become larger than life.

He's going to let you know how these sports broadcasts fit nicely into the Arkansas PBS mission.
Thanks, Sally.
We've seen a lot of basketball today, and I get asked all the time, why is Arkansas PBS Broadcasting Sports?
Well, the answer is simple.
It's not just sports.
These broadcasts or a lens through which we can see students and athletes achieve in different ways.
And they've led us to unexpected inspirational and award winning stories.
It's the final game of championship weekend here in Hot Springs.
It's a sold out crowd.
Here we go.
Tip off a set back with a right hand tie ball game.
When you go to wake up, don't wake up when the season over has swung on.
Look at high right field.
Please go back to the warning track.
It's out of here.
I can kind of look at people and tell if they doubt me.
You know, you can kind of see their entire expression kind of change, right when you make it.
The sun is setting and Leon County and got four baseball titles on the line.
Rooster gives it off right side.
Ten five left to go.
Touchdown.
Anyone could feel the pride that people from Stephen's had.
White in black having won a state title.
That is a foul.
You got to call it.
Get into the body.
Basketball was one of the most difficult game to call, but it's also one of the most fun games to be a fall man.
Very intense.
It's a fast paced game.
I mean, Hazel Walker was a legend.
There was no room for women's professional basketball.

Okay.
Arena as it's halftime at the one eight Boys State Basketball championship, Mark Treen leads County line 21 to 15.
And if you're an offensive fan, that first half was not for you because it was all about the defense.
If you take a look at the first half numbers and I'm really the top line coach David Ferrell says it all five of 25 from the field for county line.
Yeah it was kind of hard to watch because I know how good they are.
I mean, I know they're probably frustrated, but, you know, the coaching staff had them in the locker room and out early.
They got getting a lot of shots.
They got a little pep in the step here.
And I've never seen them shoot that poorly and I've watched them a lot.
So.
22 rebounds, also a big number doubling up down the line in that category is Mark Cherry.
Let's take a look at the first half highlights.
Was kind of a sluggish start for both teams and it really seemed like Coach and the protecting the rim for Mark Curry was big and also the play off of it there is Brown, the six two sophomore him off the bench.
What was the difference in my opinion in the first half for Mark Green he's a really good player on both ends of the floor so he has been that valuable to them and they bring him off the bench for that reason, I think.
So.
He's been the difference.
Probably reason their headset Mercury up 21 to 15 as we continue to see some of these first half highlights.
And let's go to the adjustments that we've got to make.
We'll start with Mark.
True.
You got six point lead.
You're not playing great yourself to be honest, and you got to find yourself in a really good spot.
What do they need to do, being able to hang on to this lead?
Well, if you're Mark three, I would be thinking, okay, I've turned it over a bunch.
I haven't shot Great.
And at my head six.
So probably clean those two areas up and keep doing what I'm doing.
They haven't had the problems with the 131 that I thought they might.
They've gotten good shots every trip down, so they probably got to be thinking that.
Carolina, I think you pick the pace.
I think they're counting on.
Players are offensive minded.
They score all six of them that play can score.
And I think the more shots and the better shots they get, the better off are going to be.
See what with ask coach Joe Bronson before the game he holds down Mark Tre Excuse me, the 21 points in the first half.
He's said, I'll take that every time.
Sure, he would feel good about it there.
Their whole coaching staff looks pretty relaxed over there though, and their guys are out shooting.
So not many times have they been held up 15 points in a quarter, let alone a half.
That's where 44 And oh, Kenny line finds themselves as they're in the championship game for the second straight year, trying to avenge last year's loss to Bradley that's Mark 329 and three in their own right stands in their way Still got about 30 seconds left before we get this third quarter underway.
We take a look at some leading scorers individually.
It's Trent Johnson for County Line with just five points, but he's only two of nine from the field.
And now on the other side of things, you've got to go to little areas.
Brown off the bench eight points knocked down two three pointers.
Two of the three threes that mark three hits in that first half of play.
So we're all set for the third quarter.
This one a title game, first half.
Sometimes it's all about the feeling out process.
Second half we flip ends and we'll see what they can conjure up as we're ready to play County line.
Mark Cherry Third quarter and stay in that 131 zone nearly forced a turnover on this first possession landed Lewis thought about a three in the corner but they swing it back around 16 to shoot now it's that high post another deflection but a third on this possession maybe for what this defense is about and the drive to the lane those good nice job to maintain the composure there for a mark three is Donnie Childs a three year starter puts one through a lot of contact there and a foul called Jonah Walker who really controlled the paint in the first half whistle for that infraction and Walker's second foul.
So that's something to keep an eye on first throws up and good for Super Watson.
Watson only played ten of the 16 minutes in that first half as he sat for a good bit of it with two fouls, second free throws off the mark and Mark traces down a long rebound with Carter ridden the whole way up Highland, extending the defense the mark three not paying attention.
They turn it over those unforced errors again half Mark Curry has stayed with that four out one in and they've kept their one in low look maybe for them to work the high post over a little bit try now to extend the pressure.
It shows a little forecourt pressure back it off and a little man to man.
Oh nice backdoor pass Johnson shots a raised and a foul called on Lewis to say he got him on the arm of the head for that matter for three fans and like to call No they did not a great set play there a backdoor play Johnson's first three throws up and good as I mentioned Johnson just two of nine from the field and he's now two of two from the foul line.
He's played every minute of this contest.
The second free throw also good lead cut to five for Mark Curry.
Guess who thinks well, extend it now almost to the halfcourt line try to go baseline cut off dangerous pass kind of those those high AKI passes are good against the zone but they're also dangerous it gets team with that kind of length eight to shoot Carter kicks it back to the corner and let one go They do three of them, five for the buzzer.
Good big shot by Cameron Marshall.
The big shot late in the shot clock work the whole clock over You got Leonard's brown out and John Walker out Different lineup for all the mile him another shot point blank Can't get it to go He's over five from the field averages 19 points a game a team best is yet to get the scoring column high post they have they have moved one into the high post another three in the corner another triples Good Damion Marshall back to back threes and county line coach Joe Brooks is going to take a timeout to talk about it that high post and then the reversals works and Marshall starting to heat up from distance five of ten from the three point line four mark three.
So when you're scouting these two teams, Coach, we'll start with Mark Mercury because they're on fire right now.
Is that because that's something that you worried about or was it the more you think, the more of a Drive team were dangerous?
We thought they were more of a drive team, but they did it about what they're doing right now.
Tell us, you know, an athletic attack in the basket type thing, on the other hand, kind of line is an offensive team like leading scorer.
Every one of them can score.
They're just struggling right now.
They got plenty of time.
They'll be the largest lead of the game.
Mark Tyree has led for 17 of the 17 minutes and 20 seconds left for almost the duration of this.
And this is by far the largest advantage the full court pressure Mark carries for Mark Curry.
And to get it in, they finally do knocked out of bounds and will stay with county line.
See what Carolina does to meet the pressure they do now they've got numbers three on two advantage they drive the lane best shot way off the mark Maya lamb offensive rebound it's taken away from him but Mark three stepped on the line so we'll keep it on this end of the floor shot clock's at 26 seconds.
See if they reset that and say it's good.
Easy, easy.
Lay in there for a very nice, drawn, inbounds play.
Maybe cut mark free napping.
Got to pick one up.
It's better out there on the block and nobody on him.
Mark Freeze league now 2925 minutes to play here in the third down the line fans behind is starting to get into it they starting to close out on Marshall in that corner now after he's knocked down back to back threes Johnson almost forces a turnover at the top.
They get it over to Marshall again another three that was all good and shot clock violation is that one did not hit the rim really good defensive possession there and county line needed it and that's what that 131 can do they kind of get you on your heels and forces you to take the whole shot clock Daniel line again easily beats the pressure now again they got number three on two fast easy lanes good mark three tried to speed them off with the full four pressure and back to back musicians they've up easy layups because of it.
They might want to put in a smaller lineup to do that.
I look for them to go back to their previous lineup.
Yeah, Walker and Brown both on the bench.
Walker's got two fouls, 11 on the shot clock remark three Carter over to Marshall another three that one short one and Don surface gets the rebound off Danny line I'm going to try to push the tempo Watson down the middle him this double team kicks it out three in the corner after more I don't know what the offensive rebound to put back in the foul Andre Maryland's first bucket of the game pulls the carry on Indians within four a chance to convert a three point play after the timeout very loud fans are getting into it we're going to step aside as you're watching this official big state basketball championship on Arkansas PBS Sports.

Thank you for shopping at the great store.
Want to buy a copy of this state championship game or any of the others from this weekend this go to in productions dot net and you can place your order along with coach David Ferrell on Bobby Swofford County line on a70 run after that free throw conversion three point play it is 2925 Well a loose ball they turn it over in the backcourt extend the pressure and mark three turns it over and KENYON Carter comes up a little limping on that one and he's going to stay in the contest.
You can tell he's clearly shaken up a touch.
He turned his ankle a little bit trying to get it around.
Johnson Well, all the momentums and Cleveland's corner right now, Mark, Terry, how do they respond?
They've got the crowd advantage and the momentum right now.
High, low.
They're taken away.
There's a little contact as well as if he was going up for the shot.
COOPER Watson draws the foul.
They say he was going up, so he's going to the foul line.
That's the only area, honestly, that county line shot the ball pretty well.
There are eight of ten make it nine of 11.
Something about that foul line.
Coach said it always equals it out and gives yourself a little confidence when you're struggling and you get to the foul line.
And they've done that, done it well.
Second one's going 2927, just score blocking foul right in front of our vantage point here.
It's press row.
COOPER Watson picks up the personal that's going to be his third.
So we've got to keep an eye on 15 and read All right county line going to reset it all the way back near the halfcourt line.
Marshall, he's been the only answer here in this third quarter.
Brown's back in there, Walker's back in for Mark three.
They're on the bench.
They're on the most of this run.
The trap in the corner.
They get it out brown 15 footer and pull up off the throw the iron with his teammates right there a whistle and a foul call, kind of a st whistle.
All the players were kind of looking and a little confused.
Didn't know if they heard one.
Yes foul called on brother he's got three now so two players for county line with three deflection up top for Johnson he takes it away Mark three and Brown takes it right back They've got the numbers Brown gives it up lay in this good nice two on one fast break Darren Walker finishes a big turnaround.
Really big.
You think you got a turnover, maybe a chance to tie the game Mark three was a big response violence got it on the wing swinging around throughout the lane that shots blocks this time Childs elevates takes that one to the front row.
The cheerleaders seven block shots from Mark three tonight.
Oh nice inbounds play keeper Watson was wide open in the lane taking advantage of that man to man defense.
A lot of times you may see coaches go to the zone on the inbounds play that time they don't and costly that's two that's two times they got just easy shots on an inbound play a lot of contact out front no call though Brown he drives he traveled maybe a third if not the fourth time we've seen Mark three call for the travel after a shot fake and not putting the ball on the floor early enough.
And we're going to take a timeout with Weber Wilbon is and coach you've been on many of these runs for and against.
Let's let's go to Mark Tre mentality.
You still got the lead but how do you stop the bleeding?
How do you stop the momentum you need to go down and get a basket?
I'd be preaching right now.
I need to win this 2 minutes.
And in my opinion, probably for Mark Tre, the biggest 2 minutes of the game, fourth quarter will probably handle itself.
But you know, they like county line, catch them, get ahead of them, you know, and then what I'd be telling them is, is that shot the time that we've been called for travel we need to take the shot wide open.
We've been hitting them and they're turning down a lot of shots to drive into war.
Yeah, just go ahead, pull it.
You know, it's you like to always look for the better shot, but sometimes you've got to take one.
We saw a very similar game play out this way earlier today.
Yes.
Is when you saw that and won a girls game.
Norfolk had a lead.
Mama.
Spring makes the run and the north wall couldn't stop the run.
All right.
And if you're counting line right now, you're talking, hey, we've got all the momentum right now.
Let's play it out.
We'll win the next 2 minutes and we'll win the fourth quarter.
If you just watch the last two or 3 minutes of real playing, it just seems like everything's going kind of like a lot of momentum going to the guys in red and gray.
They get it in and let's try to push the tempo game three on three miles got in the corner.
He drives right to the bucket and off the window.
No good.
And Walker clears the rebound inside.
2 minutes to play here in the third drive pick out that seems to work Brown for three short Walker there for the rebound Can't corral it though deflect it out of bounds Come on back with the full court pressure Anybody Tom Just the man the man not trying to trap in the back court nine and a half to play here in the third run gives it up the mile them work it around quick spin move to the baseline cut off and a strong move at the rim.
Cooper Watson forces it up and in he's got ten points most of that from the foul line and he's starting to get the offensive game work on defense start and play a little more pressure up like they can come up and even trap high out of that they are tied 31 all minutes of play in this third quarter.
They try to go inside.
Brown kicks it out, help defense.
A slotted tie ball is going to go to county line.
They're going to say that those two held possession just long enough and that's going to be a blocked shot going the other direction under a minute to play Danny line will have to shoot 1/22 differential between game and shot clock's County line has not led since the early moments of this contest.
They led to nothing.
A chance to take the lead here.
Late third year.
Watson got it on the baseline.
Cutting my limb.
What a nice dish.
And Miles Gary Lyons, first lead since the first minute of the game and this is across the timeline does Mark Curry three ball in the corner that's no good Walker with the rebound his put back no good but a whistle and a foul called big offensive rebound there for a mark three they've got a chance to maybe tie this game up at the foul line the intensity, the volume, the speed of this game of all increase in the last 5 minutes of game time for sure Kelly Lyon's got to feel great about the way the game's the speed of the game.
He's done the mark three.
He's got to feel pretty good there getting the getting pretty much Why don't just walk this first free throws in and out the rolls off the front of the iron sack when they out as well.
Ireland's got it He's got ten to work.
He's going to push going right to the basket.
Left hand finished.
No good Mark three with the rebound they're coming right at us.
Got a chance to get one off if you let it go there's a Count hill.
It's laying at the buzzer for a mark three and a big call goes away for the Indians from the northeast part of the state.
And that ties this after three quarters of play.
We're all about the threes around here.
3333.

Welcome back to one eye state championship game.
If you've missed it, well, you've missed an action packed game.
And Mark three is land for the majority of it.
21 minutes they've played with the leave and county line is in the midst of a massive comeback.
18 to 12 was the an advantage in that third quarter and we are all tied up 33 points apiece.
We are getting ready for the fourth quarter play.
Coach David Farrell, our Bobby Swafford.
Coach, it's the state championships come to the final 8 minutes and state championship fourth quarter, that's score three.
That's all you can ask for that matter.
How you get here, the wins, the losses along practices, the final 8 minutes is all you're going to remember.
Ever possession is going to count 40% from the field as Mark Terry, Danny Lonzo improved to 30% after just 20%.
That first half going right inside the walker little inside out game with Brown knocked on Marshall for three off the rim No good Miles got the rebound Nice job by Mark three to cut him off to prevent an outlet go to work on the left side the starting line swinging around Looks like they're trying to get that one on one play on the block.
Tough like there it looks like another blocked shot.
Going to be a time possession.
We've going to keep it on this ends really nice defense there in the one on one to prevent Cooper Watson from getting a good look at it Coach I think we got a warning over here on the he's not sure what happened but Donilon immediately goes back inside They got 12 to shoot.
They'll need it and three ball left side won't go offensive rebounds grabs my limb, tracks it down for a first 35, Johnson drives the lane left hand scores.
Nice job there Mark for his defense was kind of scrambling after the loose ball and Johnson recognized it and took advantage.
Well, a big save to the gun mark for his lane to turn in the layup for Kyle on the Carter guarded closely by Johnson to get it inside the Brown Brown's going to work he kicks it out to make that zone work Donnie Childs kicks it in nine on the shot clock.
Marshall That's one goal Well, too strong but offensive rebound by Childs He's double teaming travel to travel and step down the line got that rebound thought is going to be able to goes out of there the defender right in his face leading double clutch and turn it over Yeah Cooper Watson had him covered up pretty good.
He stepped on the in-line 13 turnovers now against Mark three and counting lions got possession and the lead for the first time in the entire game and go right inside a little baby hook won't go too strong from the possessed mark Sure he's back across the timeline an inch towards a six minute mark Walker lost possession of it but county line might have got him on the arm.
It's going to be the fourth team foul.
Both teams now have 14 fouls, so nowhere near the bonus just yet picked up the dribble there Brown 19 footer that's inside the three point line Good That's a shot there from LA.
There he is Brown He's been a difference maker within many really impressive off the bench He's got ten points leading all scorers for Mark three and his Cooper Watson he faces up to try to back him down Double team comes he dishes away and fast Couldn't handle it Mark sure you're going to push the tempo tries to lower the shoulder there, draws the foul on the pass only a fresh shot clock for more tre nice interior passing there, but his teammate wasn't ready for it inside and forces a turnover to Landon Lewis back in for Mark three up and under move won't go for Childs Well a one and done possession for those in the in the county line Indians coming back the other way.
It's been all man to man on this end from Mark Tre they haven't deviated from it Here's Rudd he's got a 15 on the shot clock now gets it up to Johnson ten to shoot and go to work inside interior pass mile on the reverse layup won't go offensive rebound put back and the foul It looked like the possession was doomed from the start they couldn't get a good look Well a couple of nice interior passes miles reverse layup wouldn't go but it always helps to be six foot six as Watson's there for the rebound to put back a chance of the old school three point play and he's a really good offensive rebounder rebound put back alpha a scramble so big play can't convert there at the foul line so the lead stays at two it Mark sure can answer Carter into the lane a little floater high Aki shot won't go but the offensive rebound and the put back by Walker Pretty good answer locks it up at 37 offensive rebound themselves ten offensive rebounds for Mark Terry nine for county line that numbers pretty even but overall rebound totals do favor Mark three We're at the halfway mark of this fourth quarter we're still tied three pointer left wing from runs good healthy run knocks one down the senior the biggest shot of his career Tough pass there Mark three let's one go that one's too strong.
Oh my limit the rebound next here ball is going to bring us to the time out Wow Mark three with a pickpocketed they go the other way to finish and he does Donnie Childs big heads up play there defensively Johnson quickly into the front court he's going to drive cut off baseline kind of a tough pass there stuck in the corner another turnover this time Carter is out with it shot and lands Good landing Louis four quick points for Mark three They take a one point lead and they take a time out 32nd time out but we'll stretch it to the media.
I believe they'll stretch it to the media, so we'll take it with them.

A championship game back to back steals back to back lands has mark Mercury up by one mile.
The inside too can't handle it bounce back to the entry pass and they turn it over county line coach only has seven turnovers three are on their last three possessions.
Wow Yeah those two before that were really crucial Back to back baskets by Mark Terry.
To get the lead back here comes a131 stretching all the way out to the half and got to be careful with those high arching passes and this can easily get tipped off an easy layup the other way and get away with it.
There it is.
Mark.
Three shot clock comes into play so much now the certainly no dance at all anymore It pick up the dribble ten on the shot clock now here's Lewis back to Carter five on the shot You got to get one up trapped in the corner Carter got to shoot it does and lays short and to be a shot clock violation might have been a little contact there but that close near the shot clock buzzer you're not going to get that call many times.
Well they just had to let it go Walker checks back in a little offense for defense substitution there.
Quick break for the big man.
Interesting substitution.
And Braylon Kennedy, the first time we've seen the six three senior, I believe in four mark, three, another backdoor cut that's worked so many times on the season that Johnson can't get it to go for county line big miss Nice pass Brown at RIM can't finish though and he sent it to the foul line They had the shot they wanted on a backdoor cut there but you know just the quickness in the length step Mark Tyree kind of a presence there affect that certainly for sure And quickly the other way Brown missed the lamb but he's got two free throws He's gone one for two twice tonight and misses the first one.
So he's two of five from the foul line.
Second one is good two point lead for Mark Curry with 2 minutes to play.
Let's keep in mind Walker 15 and why it's playing with four fouls.
This county line wants to attack.
They do right at him and he blocks the shot big shot there shot blocked by Walker County line down to Walker.
Are you going to pull it out?
Waste a little clock here Dangerous pass there ball's deflected almost out of bounds and the pick up a foul Drake Pryor's going to be whistled for it and that's going to send Mark three to the foul line as they are now in the bonus Kenny line went to more of a halfcourt trap than a131.
They're going to put a lot of pressure up top.
So if you if they decide to slow it, hold on to it.
I got to be careful there.
So free throw in and out.
No good watch Watson The sky's for the Rebound County line.
Quickly up the floor, Miles.
Good inside 19 seconds and we're all square.
Let's get back defensively like they've done so well tonight talking about Mark three gave up the easy laying off a mystery thriller Mark three going to work 20 on the shot clock, another travel kick, five, maybe even six times they've been called for a travel, 14 turnovers and with 105 on the game clock county line, you got a chance to take a lead.
I thought he was just open when he got it.
Yep.
One minute to play.
Maryland's got an inside wide open lane.
Great feel great price with the pass Carey lines up a loose mark threes got it across the time line Make it take a time out 31 on the shot clock 49 on the game clock for that last possession Coach Camelon really pushed the tempo when Maryland just established position on the block and got it to him.
Yeah, Senior struggled a little bit tonight but man here and go time late He's really come up big for him.
Yeah he's been their best player all year 19 points per game in just of 12 shooting minutes whatever Scott was he scoreless at the half or pretty close to it but he's really come through big in the second half.
And defensively I mean we've talked about good Marc trees been but I mean the whole to this mark tree offense that is 42 points at this point average in 65 the game defense wins championships and certainly both of these defense game the point defenses defense has been great on both sides and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come down to the stop Windsor 40% from the field is mark three 29% from three point range there five of 17 Marcus two of eight from long range, Brown's two of five.
So those are your primary shooters.
Guinean Carter, who's got an average of 17 points has only three points tonight and done a nice job of limiting the leading scorer on the other end.
That's all.
It'll come down to this 49 seconds to play in the one eight state championship game.
It was a nail biting situation in the front row of the county line student section, that same 131 zone here for county line.
They go to the high post this brown right at the defense offensive foul great price gun an established position and he takes the ball he had the assist on the other in the game in the lead at that time he comes up with the big defensive so you got four second differential here that you can't really afford to let it play out just now for.
But yes, let's put the coach and whistle around your neck.
You go ahead and give up the foul.
You've only got you got 16 fouls.
So the next one does get into the line.
But if they do go ahead and run this one all the way down, you're limited.
You're limited and they're going to go to mile and on the block.
And Malcolm, his shots too strong.
And now Mark sure he's got plenty of time to work.
They cross the time line with 21 seconds to play.
It looks like they're going to play it out and get it to the corner.
Drive Baseline floater is good.
Johnny Charles gets it to go Kenny line got 10 seconds thinking it across They're going to play down to six Watson cross the lane layups good 2 seconds left Mark also in a timeout the clock is expired in this game's over 20 line wins all day Stay will step aside Philly line beats the horn and they're taking the title home trophy presentation and interviews coming up what a finish here in Hot Springs you've been watching the centennial big state basketball championship on Arkansas PBS sports Cooperatives of Arkansas.

The county line Indians are one eight state champions as they beat the horn and mark three.
And now we're joined by Coach Joe Brunson and Coach 44.
And oh, that stat sheet in front of it doesn't matter.
You're a state champion and the most dramatic fashion you could possibly be.
How are you feeling?
Yeah, a lot of emotion there.
Last Year we were on the other side of the plate a really good game and ended up not winning that tonight.
We didn't play our best game, but we found a way to win it too.
It looked like the first half.
Nerves on both sides, you know?
And then the second half, you all just settle down and play.
Andre kind of took over and yeah, offensively we were not very good.
First half, especially second half, we started to get a little bit of a rhythm and start to score a little bit.
But for the people who came out to watch, Carolina doesn't normally get to watch County Line.
We didn't have our best offense against it.
Really seem like Walker was affecting a lot you were doing in the first half inside.
Yeah.
His legs are incredible.
He jumps really well.
His timing is good.
He really bothered some shots, you know.
But you the second half, you got to go one mile and got some easy bucket, you got some easy inbounds place and I think that really got.
Got to settle down maybe relax the nerves in your defense led offense and other times.
Yeah yeah we started getting some easy baskets defensively I thought we were good all night.
Mark three was good, all of us.
Just whoever scored those points definitely indefensible.
But Bobby and I were talking, we got back to back easy baskets on the inbound play.
Yeah, uncontested, easy baskets.
And we limited.
Yeah, Yeah.
Coach Graduation, sir.
Thanks.
Appreciate it.
All right, we're going to swap out the head, said Coach Joe Bronson for the MVP.
Andre.
Marlon could come around here.
Finished with nine points tonight.
State tournament, MVP or head four on the headset there.
Congratulations, young man.
Andre, You guys got here.
We're inches away from winning the state championship.
The redemption tour is complete now.
How are you feeling?
It feels great.
I mean, we knew we had the team to do it.
We just.
We had to stick together.
Well, when you guys, you struggle for lack of a better term in the first half, 20% from the field.
What was the conversation in the halftime and what do you think helped you kind of jumpstart the offense?
We just had to get energy points.
I mean, that's what we said in the locker.
Just get energy points and trust your defense.
Yeah.
Andre, I've seen you play a lot in, you know, the first half.
Y'all probably struggled percentage wise.
Season steal no panic double play.
Well second, half you kind of took over.
Congrats.
Thank you.
Thank you, Andre.
Appreciate it.
And congratulations, sir.
Go celebrating with the team.
That's Andre Mylan from County Line.
Tell you what, coach, this was about as good as it could have expected tonight.
Take a look at the final stats.
34% from the field for county line turnovers.
Their rebounds were fine.
You know, free throw percentage, 77% in this in this contest for county line.
But I mean really if you if you're Tyree you get a stop you get multiple stops three straight turnovers they forced it all of a sudden you've got to lead but county line is continue to make plays and they continue to get to the rim.
What's amazing how many games come down to turnovers and free throws and you look at this look at those three stat lines on the two teams.
It's a difference in the game.
So county lines are one, a state champion and they beat the buzzer impressive.
I mean these two teams go she played them both during the regular season unfortunately you fell on the wrong end of it and county lines for the first time.
Well I don't.
I don't know that it's happened 45 and oh, it's a pretty, pretty impressive feat for the Indians taking the whole championship back to the Maxwell Number games.
I don't know how you could get more.
That's true.
There's a 45 somewhere down the line, but that's right.
You can get more than 45 for coach David Farrell.
I'm Bobby Swafford.
Thanks for tuning in to the one day state championship game.
Well, we've got four more title games lined up for you tomorrow, Class two eight in class three, and we're all going to get it all started at 11:30 a.m. with the two girls game between Conway, Christian and Vernon and Ola.
We'll see you then.
