Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipStarting lineups are being announced here at Bank Ozk Arena will give you those momentarily, but first, let's look at players to watch for both schools will first start with Norfolk, where Lisa Shaddy, the sophomore guard.
She is a do it all player for this Northport team.
Yeah, you.
You think about his state championship game and underclassmen RJ is like they're gonna be kind of in awe of the moment.
That's not gonna be the case for Norfolk.
They were here a year ago.
She knows what it takes to win at this stage and the sophomore and it's crazy how many times we're going to say that Senate yesterday will see it today and tomorrow.
How many underclassmen are leading their team, especially on the girls side?
Shaddy is a key player to watch of her games on today.
Mammoth Spring could be in trouble.
Mammoth Spring, Sarah Crowe, the forward junior.
She is there, do it.
All, player, she's coming off the bench.
Actually in this one doesn't start the ball game, but she really fills it up for him.
Yeah, I love coaches that sometimes I take that player that you like you want to keep an eye on him.
Bring him off the bench.
Last year we saw the Razorbacks.
It with J denotes a.
Sometimes you need a spark.
You know, let the game settle in first two or three minutes and all of a sudden you bring a new wave, a new fresh look into it.
Sometimes I can jump start your team mammoth spring starting lineup liny young Brent Washam, you've got Davis, Chevelle, Graves and Megan Upton.
As for Norfolk, Kelly Blanchard, Madison Hall, Lisa Shaddy, Casey Moody and Kylie Allman Jumping Center for North Fork is going to be Keeley Blanchard.
She's going up against.
Davis Davis as the tip is up, it's controlled by Norfolk as we start this one a girls state championship game.
Blueberries open up in his own.
Have a high zone, maybe A32 type look.
See how North Fork handle it with the basketballs.
Mikaeli, almondvale.
Work it around the perimeter, back into the hands of Blanchard.
I want you trying to work the ball down low inside out.
We're gonna go put the three point attempt.
There's nothing enough as knocking it down that time for North Fork.
Mr Nestas yes yes.
Masters kicked in the ball game.
We got the first buckets of the ball game.
Now here's the three point.
Attempt their own for Mammoth Spring.
It's nothing, but air has coming down with it.
Was Blanchard and wash them.
Had a little too much juice on that one.
Got us settled down.
If you're a mammoth spring, let's start from North Fork.
Whistle a foul Bobby.
All that foul on Norfolk.
Lisa shadian.
She was the one that was trying to get the ball but and there was a diving player kind of really thought that the foul would have gone the other way.
They're going to say the shabby kind of shielded her off with the body prevented the mammoth sprinkler from getting to it and called it personal.
Bring nothing here in the early going of the 1A Girls State Championship game.
Nice cut that time and going up with the bucket was grand.
Wash him.
Let's back to work up there in a perfect pass between arms and defenders in the lane and the lady bears are on the board.
One point game nor pork with basketball.
Top of the key into the hands of asters.
According to Shadian, trying to give the baseline good doing a good job, being mammoth springs of that defense, not really allowing them to attack the paint.
Yeah, they're they're packing that zoning.
They're really nice job of rotating over there by Chevelle Graves.
The deflect that passing no easy shots so far.
For Norfolk we've know they've got a 3-2 lead as this on the left wing.
She'll drive the pain, go up with the right hand up and over the glass and coming down with the rebound for Mammoth, Spring was Davis.
The lady bears with 550 go with the cross court and the high block puts up the shot.
This was ripped out there.
Now here's the three pointed down and it's in and out.
Rebounds can be taken in by North Fork.
That's the shot that Norfolk wants a mammoth springs to settle for.
Defensively you seek Keeley Blanchard kind of sagging off of the player there for Mammoth Springs and kind of daring her to take that shot.
Asked his with the basketball being.
Dog right now at the midcourt stripe Blanchard with it down to the corner, here's 3 nothing but funky.
Time for North fork.
It was highly Holman who had 14 points in last year's state finals game.
Big shot there for Allman and more folks got the wrong game going and I've been printed pressure forces to turn over here at the half court line.
The Lady Panthers are feeling good about it early.
60 twos are scores.
We're reaching the five minute mark here in the first quarter.
Blanchard with it.
The wing this time.
The free throw line extended ball got knocked away, picked up by the lady Bears, can't dribble through his own RJ that time I turn it over nice Dr partially deflected and it's taken in by Northport.
We've got a whistle and a blocking foul this time coming up with a foul for Mammoth Spring.
They're going to give it to Chevelle Graves.
Not a bad foul there.
By graves.
You turn it over and little hip check their prevents the fast break opportunity.
Mignault fork work in the half court.
Honey.
Blanchard gets the ball top of the key out to Shati now working at download.
Try to get it back to Blanchard.
She just had too many bodies right there in front of her.
She tried to cut trying to force the alley Oop there, ill advised pass and they turn it over.
The basketball for the lady Bears whose graves looking it down low.
Nice defense, but they put the shot up and she'll head to the free throw line to shoot two and nice job to get inside position, thereby making up in the 510 senior tallest.
Tallest players listed on the roster Stablished physician and here's some trip to the foul line.
So Megan Upton's, the one at the foul line for Mammoth Spring.
This warms up and good.
3 point game with 402 to play here in the first quarter.
SEC good, we've got a two point ball game.
Blanchard with the basketball.
I guess we throw extended, just throw it away.
Become the lady Bears 2 on one break gets it off the grass.
We both had ball game that's really nicely done there by Taylor Davis leaves the fast break the two on one opportunity force the defense to make their decision.
This should offer the easy layin.
In your face, defense is what the lady bears have been known for this year.
Nice cut at the basket and it's not able to go as it'll go out of bounds and it'll stay with North Fork.
And those are the shots you've gotta hit.
Great ball moving inside as we hit the media timeout, but if you're in North Fork you're feeling like you left some points on the board there.
We got a good one so far in the 18 girls State Championship game.
Six to six is our scores.

We want to spend a big special thank you to schlotzsky's of Hot Springs located at 3251 Central Ave. Big thanks for riding food for our crew.
I had one of their Pickles a minute ago.
Quite awesome.
There's nothing better than a good pickle on sandwich.
Here's the inbound pass.
Wearing a lot of four North Fork to just checked in with Casey Moody.
First look at Sarah Crow on the other side as well.
Work the ball on a low baseline and still get it back out to Esther.
She'll drive the lane with the right hand.
It's good.
Force the defense converge on that baseline and get it to the high post easy drive for restless since finishes at the 10, here's some pressure in the backcourt.
Don't work the ball back right side into the hands of Taylor Davis.
Pressure down low, but making the bucket go was Brent Washam.
In these offenses, RJ are starting to settle in with more things going towards the basket.
We've seen easy layups on both sides.
The last two possessions.
Personal low baseline.
Here's Estes cutting the lane she can't get to go.
Those coming down with the rebound for Mammoth Spring was Lady Young.
I like norfolks gameplaying get them onto the short corner.
Look at high post and create a driving opportunity for restless.
That time she missed it.
That's gonna be successful.
More times than not.
We've got to travel and know for sure.
Get the basketball back at Crow.
Had a position, tried to go power step but nice job by Norfolk to get in there and get a hand on the basketball.
Forced a turnover.
This is the second turnover so far for Mammoth Spring.
Those two her sister dresses.
Travel once.
Personal security.
Up to this point.
Two fouls aside.
Now let's pass goes left side to Estes.
Now to the left corner.
What a defensive mammoth spring has been really good as Blanchard's gonna try to drive and fall was stripped away taken by the Lady Bears it's gonna have a hard time.
Norfolk is of trying to drive on the dribble against this zone.
Here's a nice spin move in a way that title Sarah Crowe.
You mentioned her in the pregame.
She comes in off the bench about halfway through the quarter and instant offense on the inside.
Work the ball outside in Blanchard goes to the left corner.
Now here's the three point attempt buckets.
Time for North fork.
It was Kylie Ullman.
Yeah, they're gonna have to find a way to get a hand in the 5/8 junior space.
She was buried two from the corner.
Also, a foul on no Borgen that was Allman again.
Or almond.
That is her first personal foul.
OK. Lady bears with the basketball.
Back over to graves, guys Ball topped the key out to crow.
Stay Davis downtown Vicki to wash him with three airball and it's gonna go out of bounds and go with North Fork.
Well, outside of her range and now we'll see if Norfolk wants to be aggressive and they're going to settle for one shot as we're under 30 seconds here in the 1st.
Cross Court pass topped the key to Blanchard.
She's going to hold for one shot down the 15th.
And we've got a whistle and a foul.
Foul that time for Mammoth Spring is gonna be on Chevelle graves.
13 and now the ball is gonna go out of bounds.
It'll be mammoth spring ball.
Too much on that one, as Allman couldn't handle it in the corner.
And there's a final shot, the buzzer and that's going to do it for the first quarter of play.
Norfolk, they hold a one point lead over Mammoth Spring as we head to the second quarter and you're watching it all.

OK so I'm going to got the app so I'm going to actually since they can see it before we do.
I'm going to get on there so I can give accurate stats.
Pretty quick, cool.
Back to action here at Bank Ozk Arena, where the Lady Bears walk the ball into the frontcourt.
Going down the loaded Sheryl Crow, she works inside out, drives the lane.
Nice job that time by Mammoth Spring.
Adriana Corbin's job by Corbett the softball get to the lane finishes strong.
Springs you gotta lead.
First field goal percentage of these teams really shooting at a high percentage.
57% for Northport, 56 from Mammoth Spring and they're getting a lot of good looks.
They're being methodical as you might expect in the 12 to 11 contests.
They're working it around and making sure they get the best shot possible.
Here's Estes for three and she wings at home.
That's a prime example of it right.
There are Jade is the extra pass and drive into the zone forced the defense to collapse on you Kick It Out for a wide open.
Three and Estes buries it.
Looking quickly go the lady bears.
We try to get in the lane just quickly swing it around the perimeter.
Now here's another three attempts.
It's off the front of the iron.
No good.
Estes pulls it in and no forks.
Got the basketball.
We're going to slow it down just a little bit.
A 14-12 lead.
North Fork has only gone to the bench a whole lot, so they don't want to get into a track meet.
I answered with the ball.
For bright side to go to that baseline to to get any type of penetration.
It's just not working right now.
Bounce Pass deflected taken by Blanchard back to the corner.
We've got a whistle and a foul.
Mentioned was trying to get the pass to the corner and a mammoth spring player reached out and grabbed her by the head.
Well, that is going to be their first personal Val.
That's what you call frowned upon.
Let's just go.
English.
Picks up two fouls, some big and one second.
Yeah, that's real big.
Now checking in for Mammoth Spring is gonna be Megan Upton y'all have to see how long coach Scott Small wants to to keep Crow on the bench with a trust her playing with two fouls here in the second quarter.
Here's a 3 point attempt for the quarter.
They go left wing they go left corner then right corner and they're hiding from everywhere.
All men is on fire from the corners.
She's already hit 2-3 from that left corner.
Now she comes to the other side and makes it a perfect three from.
Free from distance.
There's a travel call.
At that time, Taylor Davis says she never moved her foot, but she did slide in just a touch.
Small gonna try to stop the bleeding a little bit as it's a six O run mammoth.
Spring hasn't scored in more than two minutes.
I'll go put up a 17-12 lead.
551 to play in the second quarter, and I I think though if you're North Fork, you're doing a great job of really just putting a lot of pressure on this mammoth Spring team.
But you know, the defense of Mammoth Springs been playing down low.
You would think that that would stop that they just not.
They've not protected the outside right now.
Yeah, well, the defense is all about collapsing, not allowing you to beat.
Beat them on the inside as they're collapsing that zone.
But right now, Norfolk shooting 67% there, five of five from the three point line.
Anytime his team shooting those kind of numbers, they're gonna be hard to beat.
And right now, Norfolk, everything they throw up turns up the Aces, eventually those shots.
At least you believe aren't going to go down, but right now, Lady Panthers and join a five point advantage.
So here's Blanchard with the basketball and she'll go left wing.
In the hands of Allman Drive down low, that time is Moody.
She goes up, got her own rebound now another offensive rebound.
Putita Blanchard top the key.
Right side Estes.
She'll Dr baseline.
Stick it up from 7 feet and over the rim.
And now here comes Brian Mammoth spring gonna whistle foul.
Where we are is complimentary talking about how hot they're shooting and they go three on that trip and all of a sudden they're back to 50% from the field in the spring right now on a 2 minute and 33 seconds scoring drought.
Checking the ball game for Norfolk is gonna be Kylie main.
She's gonna come in for Lisa Chaddy.
Down past is knocked out of bounds.
It'll stay with Mammoth Spring.
Fifty percent shooting for both these teams so far, but the big the big stat overall.
Northfork is five of five on the three point line.
Inbound pass.
Taking this time by Davis will not.
Down.
Down by up to do establish position on the block.
Turn around uses the window gets to A1 possession game.
To ask one the front court.
Balls, almond, it's going.
They really have gotten no big hurry whatsoever.
Bobby is Aston's got it.
Hill Dr baseline overshoots everything and Anna Spring comes down the rebound.
Hammers really extended the zone there to try to turn up the pressure forced the awkward shot.
Gotta stop.
Then, moving Elaine with the left hand, it doesn't go, but she's found.
That will put brainwash him at the free throw line for the lady bears.
Drop my wash them if the defender going right spin moved back across the lane, couldn't finish a chance to earn a couple freezes that time for North Fork.
It was Casey Moody who committed the foul.
As you see right there, the first free throw is no good.
Before game and it's spring, North Fork is being able to establish any distance between themselves just yet.
Now here's Blanchard with a nice driving on the baseline was able to put it up and end.
Blanchard hasn't really been aggressive offensively as of yet.
NASA see her attack the lane, get her first bullets.
And there's an ice bucket by Mammoth Spring.
We've got a two point game with 404 to play here in the first half.
Mammoth Spring is beat.
The pressure.
They're easily and wash them with a nice layin and lady bears shooting 58% for the contest.
Behind the back pass to clear that one out.
Now estice on the left wing.
Find somebody we gotta whistle to travel.
I'll tell you it's 12 media timeout.
We've got a two point game between North Fork and Mammoth Spring and you're watching the Centennial Bank State Basketball championships on Arkansas PBS Sport.

343 to play in left here in the second quarter, Northfolk leads Mammoth Spring by a score of 19 to 17 as spring will have the basketball.
Bring it up without him.
He's on the right wing down top of the key.
They go out to graves, work it down Hilo nice move by Upton in Lane but misses a shot coming down with the rebound for North Fork.
Was mains that time.
Masters with the basketball.
On the right wing and a ball stolen away.
Making by Mammoth Spring now brought up.
My Davis turnover starting to be a little bit of an issue for the Lady Panthers.
They've given away 7 times.
Davis puts up a shot in the lane at bounces off the back of the iron that we've got a jump ball and possession arrow goes with North Fork with 2:55 to play in the second quarter with seven turnovers.
Have led to just six points for mammoth.
Advantage of the free opportunities just yet, but that's something that North Fork and coach William Stewart is going to want to clean up.
Here is Norfolk, in the frontcourt as as just has it on the wing, lost the handle on it, trying to get it downloaded.
Blanchard and just throw it away.
And one thing about the lady bears, they do a really good job sticking their hands in kind deflecting the ball away without causing foul, and that's the that's the advantage of that zone.
You use your links, you close down the passing lanes, read some extra opportunities for yourself.
In the lane goes.
Brainwash him and she'll head to the free throw line to shoot two and 32.
All that time is on Casey Moody for Norfolk.
That's her second personal found.
One thing to pay attention to.
Maybe RJ is Keely Brent Blanchard, the 510 sophomore for North Fort Pierce of jammed a finger or thumb keeps tugging at that right hand overs.
Logan's good we've got a tight ball game.
It's been 2 minutes since Norfolk scored.
They've turned it over three times in that same span.
All pork with the basketballs.
They work at the left side to Moody.
He goes the corner to Estes.
He's trapped there in the corner.
We've got a whistle on an offensive foul.
As does extend their arm out to try to clear some space and they caught him with the foul.
Great job defensively to set up the trap in the corner and the mammoth Spring bench and the crowd far behind them help make that call as they thought that she got away with one of them but not the second time.
And then that's 4 turnovers in the last two minutes and 15 seconds against the Lady Panthers lies the shadowy checks in the ball game for North Fork.
Under 2 minutes to play here in the first half.
Lady bears working at around the bank job of the key over to Corbett.
Open at the free throw line with the left hand.
No good.
We've got a whistle and a foul and that's foul is going to be against Megan Upton.
Not shooting just yet.
Next one is going to put both teams in the bonus.
Here comes Blanchard.
Right side with it through the hands of mains mains trying to get it down that corner to work it inside.
They finally doing how fouls coming.
That's what that's what really Norfolk's been trying to do all day is working to that baseline to to really get the penetration.
It's not really been successful up to this point.
This time it was quicker ball movements what they're looking for.
You can see coach William Stewart who's screaming, get the ball to the short corner, but once you get it there, that's where they're trying to trap his mammoth spring.
Once you get to that short border, quickly give it to the high post quickly reverse side and that's what happened there.
Got him a chance to get to the foul line.
This is both free throws and mammoth.
Spring comes down with the rebound as calling it in that time was wash him.
Red Orbit tank top.
The key to wash him she'll drive goes up with the left hand.
It was partially blocked up to was there to get the put back and she's found.
So Megan Upton is at the free throw line.
The senior.
So far today, she's got four points.
We want Blanchard now.
After line 4, been much of an issue yet for either side.
So misses that one.
We've still got a tie ball game at 19.
That was good.
Mammoth Spring takes a one point lead.
Like time.
Blanchard brings the ball in the frontcourt as well under a minute to play here in the first half.
Please.
Come on, yeah?
Oh yeah, if they're not being a shot clocked in one a championships.
I was just thinking this thing.
They're gonna believe they're gonna try to believe this now.
The way down aren't they tire minute that they've had the ball they're just gonna bleed it down and I think the lady bears know it so nobody is really going to do anything.
They're just going to stand there and wait on him.
Shot Clock currently in Arkansas.
Only at the largest classification.
So change next year and they can sit here and believe this entire final minute away and trying to take the lead and headed to the locker room down to 13 seconds.
Now the 10th.
Blanchard in the lane kicks it out right whilst the handle on it.
You gotta tie up and they're gonna say jump ball.
The possession never goes with Mammoth Spring with three seconds DN.
That's the bad thing Bobby is.
You hold for that last shot.
You wait till about 10 seconds left and then really give you much time to say anything else.
Coach Stewart was over there given instructions.
You can call the best player in the world, but it's all about execution again.
They try to drive through the zone so many defenders, too many arms in there and deflect it loose to 'cause that I possession.
3 seconds at the halfway mark, and that's going to do it.
We head to halftime where Mammoth Spring has a one point lead on North Fork and the one I Girls State Championship.
And you're watching this Centennial bank state basketball championships on Arkansas.
PBS sports.
The day before they put her on the lights when I get out and get well soon as they let me, I'm gonna get back to Nathan.
That was my last conversation but it was too late.
It is a tragedy that came and took us so quick this family is devastated.
Please get back to me.
His devastating.
It's devastating.
It's natural to begin serving with our kids safety, but when they're riding the school bus, we shouldn't have to be illegally passing.
A school bus puts our children's lives at risk.
That's why Everett is joining area schools to promote the flashing red kids ahead safety program.
School bus safety is everyone's responsibility.
Do your part always stop when you see the flashing red lights of a school bus.
Children's lives depend on it.
Remember flashing red kids ahead?
Back here at halftime at Bank Ozk Arena, Mammoth Spring leads at 20 to 19 over North Fork, and Bobby Defense is really starting to crank up on both sides towards the end of the half.
It really did both of these teams really started to turn the basketball over to got a little try.
They tried to pick the pace up a little more without this lead into more turnovers in the last four minutes of that first half, neither team hit a field goal.
Neither team able to score outside of free throws.
And so that's gonna be something we gotta pay attention to.
What kind of adjustments can these two coaches make?
After half because what we saw in that last four minutes not gonna get the job done.
Yeah no it's not.
And I would imagine you know if you're Norfolk.
You've gotta be feeling really good about where you're at in this game.
Being that you've already lost this mammoth Spring team once, they played really well.
Both teams shooting nearly 50% in this one.
Yeah, the way they're shooting it is off the charts.
Problem is, they're not getting enough shots up because of the turnovers.
If you're Norfolk, gotta stop trying to attack the zone off the dribble.
Can't dribble into three defenders.
You're going to turn it over on the other end.
I like what mammoth Springs trying to do.
Get the ball into the lane, get easy shots, but north folks doing a nice job keeping him out here at the half.
Where right now Mammoth Spring they leave this 120 to 19.
Stick around for a halftime show, get to go around exploring Arkansas coming up next is you're watching the Centennial Bank State Basketball championships on Arkansas?

It took me a lot to learn what I learned, what I know and I still learn, you know, I get things that come along.

I'm going to do that.
Obviously not the easiest line of work in the world.
Patience is definitely a virtue when blacksmithing.

It's just got us a unique pattern and no matter how hard you try, you can't get two pieces to look like because it is all hand done.
The old one I'm really interested in passing everything onto that, did I know is my son, like when there's been techniques lost over the years, there's been knowledge lost and we may never get that back.
We gotta teach today guy or this ain't going to be around much longer.
People out there that would be great at it and I don't think many people know.

Arkansas is one of the most productive and diverse agricultural states in the nation.
And with that in mind, last spring we partnered with Arkansas Farm Bureau to explore rural community life, Agri business and much more.
Here is a taste of good roots.
Is well over 2000 Arkansas last farms.
96% of them are family owned and operated.
It's all about building communities.
They results we've been seeing have been very promising.
I grew up watching the farm knowing every detail about it.
If you take care of the soul, the soul take care of you.
It helps us to give back to the land and make sure that it's going to be there for future generations.
Every community has a story to tell if somebody will tell it, it'll be interesting.
Look for good roots the 2nd Friday of each month during Arkansas Week and on demand.
Hey, it's about that time.
Thanks for joining us.
For halftime, let's get you back to Bank Ozk Arena for more championship action on your home for the Arkansas Basketball State finals.
Arkansas PBS enjoy the second half.
The electric cooperatives of Arkansas over 2500 team members across 17 local electric distribution co-ops powering homes, farms and industries somewhere across Arkansas.
We are the electric cooperatives of Arkansas power and people.
Back here at Bank Ozk Arena and Hot Springs, as it's the 1/8 Girls State championship game between Mammoth Spring and North Fork are Jayhawk along with Bobby Swofford is we get you set for second half action.
Let's take a look.
Add some second half stats.
You think about these two teams are Jane.
It's the way they finished the first half.
There's a lot to be desired either way, but they're both shooting 50 near 50%.
They haven't really turned the ball over a ton.
Rebounding are pretty even for the late in the half.
Norfolk started turnovers.
The mammoth spring started to miss some easy shots in the lane, started to miss some free throws.
The little things in this game.
We as we expected as they played just 10 days ago, it was decided by 4 points.
I think one second half run is going to be the difference in this contest.
I think you're exactly right.
We're going to see the the continuation of that defense that we saw at the end of the first half.
Continue over here in the second half.
Is it the one point game?
20 to 19 Mammoth Spring has the basketball or it has the lead North Fork will have the basketball to start the second half and it will move from right to left here at Bank Ozk Arena.
Or Fort Worth the ball is they're going to work it around the perimeter.
And it spring already extending that defense like they did the second half of that second quarter, forced those turnovers from Norfolk.
Try to make them more uncomfortable handling the basketball.
It's a ball for North Fork is almond.
Go back left side to the hands of shadow.
Daddy works a download of Blanchard at the free throw line.
Now kicks it back right side to Estes.
Over to Blanchard.
Now we've got a whistle about.
We just see how methodical Norfolk's going to be just working it around.
They've already fled 49 seconds of this third quarter off the clock, not even attempting to take a shot.
They're going to work it around until they get exactly what they want to.
Our checking is gonna be Adriana Corbett.
Well, mammoth Spring checking out belaney young Norfolk averages 55 points a game, so they're not always just methodical and nice inbounds.
Play there, they get a scoring opportunity.
Kind of mammoth springs doing is forcing them to be a little more patient than normal.
Lisa Shaddy is going to head to the free throw line as the foul.
That time was committed by Megan Upton, and for Upton, that's her third personal foul.
No good now, checking in for Blanchard Spring.
There's gonna be Sarah Crowe.
She'll come in for Upton.
Go for three from the foul line.
Find a way to get one of those to fall.
The second one is good.
We'll get a tie ball game once again.
Comes Blanchard spring.
It should be.
We have a spring as bulls gonna go out of bounds.
Graves had it deflected away and it was last touched by Norfolk.
We're going to see both of these squads.
RG turned up the defensive intensity because they've shown the knack.
They don't.
They don't look real comfortable with pressure right in their face.
Now pass this time over to Davis al right side to go.
Corbett worked it now driving the line is wash him.
She puts it up.
It rolls off the back of the iron.
It's no good and rebounds pulled in by North Fork.
Really blunt Blanchard works the ball around as they get over to Estes.
He had another daddy, toddler Keith for three, and it's no good.
No you.
To your point Bobby just slow not in any big hurry whatsoever.
Being very, very patient.
Sarah Crowe drives in his file does she'll head to the free throw line to shoot 2.
Out there by Mammoth Spring to go on the attack early to complete the opposite of what we've seen on the other end of the floor.
Quickly go to work and she gets to the foul line.
Kylie Maines is gonna check in for Norfolk.
Replacing #32.
Shot good.
Those got four points.
Now Mammoth Spring got a two point lead.
We're gonna throw it.
They were trying to get in the hands of Kylie Manus just overthrows him.
See Coach Stewart with having ball landed around his his feet and he's going to take a time out.
He just asked the question why he's like just trying to do too much.
You don't have to go out of your way to make this special pass.
Make the simple pass.
That's all he wants to get across to his team.
Work it around the simple and get the easy shots folk go down 557 to play here in the third.
Quarters, Mammoth Spring has a two point lead 22 to 20.
Both coaches trying to.
We talked her teams up, but once again there's no urgency on on either part really.
It's just slow, methodical.
Let's find that good shot is.
It's not just on one side, it's on both sides.
You know the games have different, you know flows if you will.
I mean it was 60 to 56 the last time these two teams play, so they're not afraid to go up and down with each other.
It's just today, at least if this strategy is to be patient, every possession is huge as no force going full court pressure here.
Well, you bears get the ball in the frontcourt.
Crow loses the handle on it, but it's picked right back up by Amanda Springs.
Brainwash him there and she will put it in nice job.
I wash him to go up strong right through the defender and Mammoth Spring and this may be the first time we've seen either seen since early first quarter.
Lead by more than one possession losses down the leading point getter from Mammoth Spring with eleven points.
Nice drive to the lane.
Count the bucket.
And going to the free throw line to shoot the.
One extra point shot.
Kylie manis.
Allman's been really impressive.
She's knocked down 3 threes.
She gets the three point play their twelve points for Allman.
She's doing it all, keeping Norfolk right in this contest.
I said man is the man.
Allman as she was able to get in there.
Now here comes the lady bears.
Nice work.
With pace of the game starting to speed up a little bit, Bobby it's a great job to go outside.
Get the the cutting crow to the block and she's able to finish.
She's got four quick points in the second half.
Under 5 to play here in the third.
Maynas gives the ball off at the jump circle now.
Here's almond in the lane with the right hand goes too hard.
The lady bears come down with it.
Allman's been a lot more aggressive offensively, didn't get the shot to go down there, but I like the aggressiveness attack this defense.
Left side just set up the offense to get somebody to move around.
That being Adriana Corbett.
Back down to crow.
Crow just throws it back and try to clear it out.
Hopefully right there to save it.
With Corbin lost her footing lucky our teammate was there.
Starting to see though, when Crow gets the ball on the block, there immediately double teaming her, making her give up the basketball.
Do you buy wings under 4 to play now?
Now in the lane works it right side the crow nice cut.
That time it was Adriana Corbin with the cotton bucket.
Yeah, great job by crota.
Recognized Corbett cutting to the basket with strong finish leads.
The largest of the game at 5 for Mammoth Spring.
Worldport takes the ball to the right wing.
Now we've got a whistle and a foul this foul.
Gonna go against, brainwash him and that'll take us to a media timeout with 321 to play here in the third quarter I said it's going to take us.
There we go there there there wondering nobody raised their arm, but we do it as door Ford Trails 2823 and you're watching the Centennial Bank State Basketball championships on Arkansas PBS Sports.

He likes to listen to himself.
Yes.
I don't even know what I'm making fun of you.
They're making fun of you in our ear.
I I have no, I mean.
2020 23 I know that much.
As Northport.
As the basketball on the right wing.
Blanchard needs to get more involved offensively.
Northport turns it over here come the lady bears with the left hand and misses it, but she's fouled that time going up with a shot was Taylor Davis.
#2 Val was on Keeley Blanchard.
Go to the block.
Missing this so that she got it with the body.
Push this open to a free possession lead.
If Davis cannot hold the 2nd.
She's taking it out right there.
Blanchard leans it up.
I think she's got to be more involved, or if they get her involved, you watch her shooting and warm up and they rarely miss 2IN black and you go to her.
Down here.
Is northward over to Blanchard at the free throw line she'll pull up and banks it off the glass.
It's good ask and he shall receive.
I guess brings it within five with two thirty six to play here in the third pressures.
Little bit more now North Fork gets the steal.
It often Blanchard job by almond to get their hands in there and take the basketball away.
What's your take through the wing?
Talk to Estes.
Website Here's a 3 point attempt.
It's too hard and the rebound is gonna be pulled in by the lady Bears that time coming up with it was Corbin first time almonds missed from beyond the arch.
You hit her first three today.
A minute 58 to play.
As Corbin's got it out of the key.
With the crow, she'll go up with the right hand and rose it in its strong finish, thereby throw.
But she knew that Blanchard was playing with three fouls she didn't want to be too aggressive defensively with smart heads up basketball move, there gets the easy layin.
I want pork with the basketball.
Hey court.
Hello.
One oh wait to play as there's a kick ball out of bounds.
It's a big final 66 seconds of the third.
As Norfolk needs to try to trim this lead just to touch, going to the 4th 'cause you really do feel like mammoth has got all the momentum.
Now here's the three point attempt by Allman and she hits the bottle bucket.
345 from distance, all from the corner.
Almost at corner, don't she, doesn't she is deadly from it.
And the lady bears working right sign to opt in.
Now in the land of Crow and she's valve.
I do.
Now that time, No forks can be called on Kylie Manus.
Isaiah Manus is actually Casey Moody.
As the first free throws in and out, maybe he's going to have to head to the bench.
She's got 4 personal files.
It was our first look at the six foot junior Jordan Rasmussen.
And that was no good rebound.
Pulling by Northport given Optical answered, we're under a minute to play here in the third quarter.
With more focus, again wants to bleed down the final 45 seconds of the period holding for the final possession didn't work out for him in the second.
Really going to do it again here in the third down to 25 seconds to play in the third.
It's like they are going to bleed it off Bobby.
15 Tim here's astis 6 seconds Astis left side down to four cross court to Allman for three.
I'll tell you what home in his deadly right now from the three point line, and we are a one point game headed to the fourth quarter.

Young sports and Albert paving her own way take a historical look at Hazel Walker Arkansas travelers and see some Arkansas PBS All Stars in Class One and two eight.
That's all coming up right after this one.
Well, we start the fourth quarter of play and looking right there, Kylie main Manus.
She's been a player here in the second half.
But Almond has been the real killer so far.
I haven't 6 from 318 points.
She's the reason Norfolks only down a point.
Lady bears have the basketball as Davis works the ball around the corner over to wash him for three.
It's too hard, but right there to get a rebound was Upton and the ball lands in Blanchard hands for Norfolk.
Think Upton will surprise there's nobody in her face and she just kind of short armed it.
25 and counting.
As Blanchard is tide up trying to find somebody, we've got a whistle and a timeout.
It'll be a 32nd timeout charge the North Fork.
Probably a good time out right there.
Possibly avoid any type of turnover or anything like that.
I recognize this team was trapped every possession.
Gonna be crucial here in the fourth Speaking of crucial, how about the contest we got coming up right after this one?
The 1A Boys county line and the state championship game for the first time since 1971.
Taking on the Bradley Bears and had a chance to talk with coach Benny Harrison Bradley earlier this week and he goes.
Yeah, we played county line about six years in the state tournament six years ago.
He goes.
They thumped us.
Yeah, because we haven't forgot about that.
I expect this is going to be a good one.
County line.
Bradley coming up next.
Do you know where in Arkansas Bradley is located South?
Yeah, it's down there close to Louisiana border.
I was I had a chance to be 25% right?
In the West is also an option.
Do you know where county line is?
Do I actually know exactly where county line is between Charleston and Paris?
I was gonna say at the county line.
As the ball's deflected out of bounds and 7:12 to play.
Here in the ball game.
Mammoth springs up one to one point 3231.
Entered with the basketball on the right wing left wing excuse me is.
Now you gotta find out where 33 in black is to make sure you got a hand in her face and she got open.
There you got the shot off and.
Oh, got the rebound for the lady bears.
That's a good open look though.
For almond we're gonna take that every chance you get it from North Fork Pro gonna work the left side of the paint.
Go up the ball got stuck.
Get some forced to get the ball stuck in the corner.
We get the broom out, probably go jump.
I used to be able to do that.
Probably can't anymore not to suit at least.
Well Hip will help.
I mean have another ball.
There it is.
Steam.
So I put free throw line of **** is Sarah Crow.
So far today.
Pros 2 For 4th free throw line.
Make that 3 for five.
9.1 acquired the first afternoon she picked up those two fouls in the span of a second and had to sit for most of that second quarter, but she's she's come on in the second half up to 9 points.
Second one is good.
That makes it a 3 point game with 641 to play.
WordPress is on by Mammoth Spring, broken by North Fork.
Always getting a lot more attention as they work the ball into the paint jobs the key goes.
Moody back over to Almond.
She thought about it on the wing.
I'm gonna drive in.
She's fouled and it's before the shot went off so they'll inbound it from the baseline.
Blue chips are on their drives.
They're closing out hard on almond here recognizes that it's a step into the lane.
Go back to the bench, their third foul.
Down goes left side here.
Zolman for three from the corner.
No good and rebounds rundown by North Fork.
Shadys got it.
She was able to get over to Estes.
Estes drives the pain, goes up with the left hand, it's no good.
Ball is gonna go out of bounds and it was last touched by North Fork and already bears get the basketball back.
Gotta take chances in the lane there.
Norfolk couldn't take advantage of it by mammoth.
Spring again to collapse making's life difficult for the Lady Panthers.
Great.
He bears looking for ball with 5:45 to play in the ball game.
They go topside to Davis now over to wash him.
Other contents in.
Working a little clock here as well.
People come out and go.
Deal.
Tip tip going down low was up in.
She traveled with him.
We had a mammoth spring.
Crowds not going to like that.
If she really didn't have clean possession of it.
Kind of tipped it to herself, shuffled her feet.
The official deem that she had enough possession and traveled.
So no board gets it back 'cause they're down by three.
I'm 11 and counting.
With the basketball is ******.
Let me get it down to Estes Estes with the right hand.
It goes and she's bald.
Mammoth Spring got away with a little shove as the pass came in to ask as she was able to control the past, gather herself off the window, then that takes the hit and she's got a chance to tie this contest.
As this has not been to the free throw line today she's got 10 points.
Everything I'm so cool.
Try to tie the ball game up with this free throw and she leaves it short.
Rebound pulled in by Crow and here come the lady Bears haven't been pretty for Norfolk's again small sample size with two and six from the foul line.
Now they work at right side to Corbett back to the top of the key to wash him.
She'll drive the Crow Ball was partially to flush it away, but pick back up by young.
After four and a half left in the ball game one point game.
Right side under the hands of young trying to get it away at store away by North Fork.
Here come the Panthers working it down court to Estes Estes gets it back out to the free throw line.
They kick it back through the corner.
They'll pull up from 14 feet.
No good.
We bounce pulled in by the lady Bears.
Mammoth Springs been a little too patient.
The last few possessions.
They haven't scored nearly 2 1/2 minutes did not being as aggressive as they were in that photo to help them build the lead under 4 to play in the ball game.
Side goes Washburn Washburn.
Excuse me, she'll put it up and rolls in and out.
Rebounds pulled in by Northport.
Almond with the basketball stands at that state championship logo.
Stoppage in play and sometimes teams probably use a break.
Open the ball in his madness.
Paint us back over to almond almond, trying to find somebody found asked as she goes up with the right hand is good.
Great job at home and she she's been shooting it so well.
The defense crawls to her leaves.
S is wide open.
And Norfolk's in the lead as we hit the media.
3534 you're watching this Centennial bank state basketball championships on Arkansas PBS sports.
It's natural to begin serving with our kids safety, but when they're riding the school bus, we shouldn't have to be illegally passing.

Flashing red kids ahead.
Hands up, hands up, hands up, hands up, hands Up, hands up.
Let me see you let me see you bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce.
See the natural state from a bird's eye view in exploring Arkansas from above.
There's at 4:00 o'clock today.
Watch it by arkansaspbs.org.
Rio 7 play here.
The ball game in the 1A Girls State Championship game.
We've had a good one so far.
North Fork they lead at 3534.
You gotta be aggressive here.
If your mammoth.
If I could get something going to the basket, they've gotten a little stagnant offensively.
Take advantage of the size that you have, so I get the ball to crow down low.
You'll see half court pressure by Norfolk.
As they're working across the timeline, gets it over into the hands of wash them.
Now we've got a whistle and a foul.
#15 found now on Norfolk.
The next one is going to put the Lady Panthers on the line a little work to do before Mammoth Spring earns the trip to the stripe.
Fearful here's the inbound to wash them.
They work at the left side to young.
Off the key.
Bark rolls at 247 in county here in the 1A Girls State Championship game.
Don't do it.
Very, very patient go the lady bears.
Here left side Davis back over the crow.
She goes up, can't pull it down north.
Folks got the rebound.
The exact look you want.
The exact shot you want.
Great ball movement, just did not convert in the lane.
Now here's Estes right side.
I go up with it.
It's good in the bucket that time.
For Norfolk it was Casey Moody.
3 point game.
You gotta go with a little bit of sense of urgency now.
I would think with two minutes left, right Bobby 4 1/2 minutes since Mammoth Springs found the bottom of the net.
Here's a 3 point attempt by graves.
We've got a whistle and a foul and it's going the other way.
Mammoth Spring picked the worst possible time to go on.
Probably one of their longest scoring droughts of the season 449 was the last time they scored six consecutive point.
The lady Panthers?
They've got a chance to add to that here at the foul line.
Keeley Blanchard comes in for North Fork and for Mammoth Springs Megan Hampton's back in the ball game.
She's really been a cog for them, but she's working with three fouls.
Chance to at the last five minutes North folks had Blanchard on the bench as well, so she's going to come in with fresh legs.
That's big because you know Mammoth Spring is gonna bring the full court pressure and she's been the point guard for the majority of today.
3834.
After that, foul shot is good.
Hey, just speak.
She hits both.
The five point game.
Bruno Ford.
Largest lead of all game for North Fork at five points.
You see the Lady Panthers extend the defense trying to create something that's kind of foul.
They're gonna call a foul on North Fork.
Salman Ali almond picks it up OK for now.
Still not in the bonus, and now you've got to back it up just a little bit if you're the Lady Panthers, because the next foul will send Mammoth Spring to the line.
Bill.
Braves working it down intercepted.
Taking my Northport Blanchard in the lane with the right hand, she's the bucket down.
What a great steal.
Trying to do too much on one end, Blanchard.
This goes coast to coast and able to get the contact from behind and gets the lay in a hugely from North Fork and the Lady Bear is going to take a time out to talk about it a minute 28 to play in the ball game.
North Fork up 4134 and it goes back to those fresh legs you were talking about.
Bobby Blanchard was able to get that interception and just take it coast to coast and she looked like she'd been on the bench in the last four or five minutes and.
That's a really, really strong move for coach William Stewart, but also you got to get the credit to the to the everybody else for Norfolk because they allowed her to be on the bench.
Mammoth Spring didn't make a run with their starting point guard on the bench.
Pays off to have dealt pays off to have experience in Norfolk minute and a half away.
If they can hang onto it from a title.
4134 neither one of these teams have ever won a state championship.
They've been here, but have never punched their ticket to the trophy and the way that Norfolk has played in the last three and a half minutes.
Really the last five minutes or so.
It's a little shocking because they've risen to the occasion here in the fourth quarter.
Mammoth Spring scoreless in the last five 1410, all run for the Lady Panthers, and that's why they've got a seven point advantage.
Minute 28 at the free throw line is going to be Keeley Blanchard for North Fork.
Trying to make this an 8 point game.
True.
Free throws no good rebound.
Pulled in by the Lady Bears working quickly down cord, they overthrow it and it goes out of bounds instead of Northport.
Yeah, Mammoth Springs is trying to do a little too much.
There might have been a little contact down low with Blanchard, but they don't get the call, but that pass was going to be uncatchable either way and just trying to do too much as the lady bears.
Turn it over again.
Here.
Allman's gonna end bound up full court presses on.
They get it in to Blanchard Blanchard.
Work around 1 defender.
Get into the frontcourt, they work at the left side over to Moody download as does your mammoth spring.
RJ.
You gotta think about wins.
It's time to fouling and maybe right now if you're down seven with inside 70 seconds almonds got it, she's found and Salman will head to the free throw line with a minute 3 left here in the fourth quarter.
There's no shot clock.
You can't avoid the waste valuable seconds now.
Mammoth springs.
Marta give up the foul there.
See if the Lady Panthers can ice the game of the stripe.
They struggled from the foul line.
49 noboby starting the season in Class 1A.
Norfolk was the Arkansas Democratic is at number one team in the preseason poll.
Mammoth Spring was number 3 as the years gone on Mammoth Spring is not lost to one school inside of the 118 conference.
It's been a really remarkable year by both these teams and and you look at the roster for next year's North Fork, pushing the lead up to 9 and you look at what they're losing.
Or maybe a better way of what they're not losing.
Norfolks going to be your preseason #1 next year too.
Now in the lane goes Mammoth Spring man.
It will knock that down that time with wash him.
And whistle a foul is now almonds going to head back to the free throw line quick bucket there for Mammoth Spring and now they need a little help on the other end.
They need to either force a turnover when they need the lady Panthers to miss at the strike.
Woman today at the free throw line.
3 for three.
She's got 20 points.
She had 14 last year in the state finals.
Bring those up and good gotta show up for the big games and Allman has been lights out.
Five of eight from the three point line 21 points in the contest.
Make it 22.
Great.
Working left side with the left hand misses the shot and Blanchard comes down with it and she's fouled.
So it'll be 5 seconds left.
Chancellor put this game away right here?
Aren't they?
Get it up to double digits here.
Pretty much your chances of coming back or are slim.
Very, very slim.
She misses it Blanchard on the day is now over two from the free throw line.
1000 she misses both.
Now coming down with us, the lady Bears, they work it into the frontcourt as wash him gets it over to grave.
She hasn't box and is taken by Milford.
And working to Blanchard Al has the ball deflected and taken to the frontcourt that was into the hands of Liz Shetty.
And she'll be found.
North Fork Lady Pants Crowd can feel it.
They haven't won a title.
This is gonna be a big time crown.
Going back to North Central Arkansas.
That makes it a 10 point game.
Now, Megan Upton comes to the ball game.
Dragons good 11 point game.
Bring it up as Davis looks at left side to grab.
She pull up a deep three.
It's good.
4739 Now we've got a timeout on the floor.
It'll be a full timeout charge to Blanchard Springs.
Mammoth spring.
Excuse me with 18 seconds left.
Bobby got a big big hill to climb.
You got to go for the steal on the inbound.
Give up the foul immediately, but again, you've got to get a little help on the other side.
Norfolk hasn't been exceptional at the foul line, but they've certainly hit a just enough 10 of 17 from the stripe.
You look at this contest.
They're better for the three point line.
They are the free throw line 7 of 10 from distance.
His Norfolk, I've seen that very often ever seen a game where a team shot 70% from the three point line, but they that's why they spent all those hours in the gym during the summer in the fall.
Getting ready for this point, they played a ton of games.
This is their 40th contest.
Not a bad time to say.
Hey, you know what?
Let's shoot our best game for the season.
From the three point line.
There's 18 seconds left in this one, and they talked about a moment ago.
Neither team has ever won a state championship game, and flying North Fork as well on their way.
About pass come to Blanchard and she'll be found.
George Liverpool.
Based on the stats that you wanna foul, he's Blanchard's over three from the foul line.
You can erase all those woes right here.
And she misses again.
Coach Stewart wait until the final men of this contest to take the pullover off.
It's getting a little hot here.
Final minute.
It makes the second one day you and I talked about.
It was getting a little warm in here.
As.
Here's Washam, she'll drive hit the bucket and go get the ball.
It's stolen away and the bucket was put back in by Davis is not enough.
Plus one, a girls state champion Northford they win forty eight forty three.
What a fourth quarter for North Fork.
It's going to be a little skewed.
Those last two buckets in the Lady Panthers put together a huge run and the final eight minutes, and they earned themselves their first championship.
How come a ball game between both these schools you had by far the two best teams in class one and we'll talk about the MVP and we'll crown a champion when we come back.

There they are.
the Champions northfork.
They win at forty eight forty three today here at Bank Ozk Arena and the Class One a girls state championship game.
And it's the first title in school history.
They they were here last year, didn't come up with the title, came back in year number two and got it done.
Bobby and it was a great performance really by both these squads.
It really was.
I mean for three quarters these two teams were neck and neck but you got to make that run.
And I stood it right at halftime.
One of these teams is going to make a big run in the second half and it was certainly Norfolk and they turned it up defensively and they got big shots.
They got to the lane.
I think Mammoth Spring started to wear down.
Started this to press a little bit.
Not not tempo but they started the press in their minds a little bit, especially when those shots just kept going down to a clip of 70% from the three point line.
Now that was was really impressive and.
We will be able to talk with head coach William Stewart here in a moment and they will also name today's Class 1A Girls MVP Bobby, who you going to give that to just on the front?
I mean it's based on today.
It's gotta go to almond just the wave is she shot it?
Of course it's the state tournament MVP.
Not necessarily today, but the way that she shot the basketball.
They really struggled to get anything going offensively outside of her.
She kept them afloat for 3/4 and she certainly in my eyes with earning MVP nod I I would agree with you all men.
In this ball game had 22 points as Tesco had.
Third, she had 12 points in this game started really strong as well.
She hit a big shot early.
Yeah, it was almond.
Her name and almond the MVP for this much deserved.
Yeah, absolutely.
Anytime you come into it in any game, let alone a state championship game in arena.
But you know that from a lot of people's perception and perspective, it's tough to shoot in knocks down 53 pointers all from each corner.
It's a pretty impressive the way she shot it and she carried her team today.
Well, we will have both coach and MVP here, just in a moment as they're making their way over to the table right now.
We will get Coach Stewart.
And as he makes his way over here coach, how are you?
I tell you what it was, a little intense at first, but let's go back to half time.
You know you go into the locker room.
You guys with a one point game.
Would you tell the girls at halftime?
We had 10 turnovers at halftime.
They had four and we were still down.
One point?
Yeah, that was that was the key.
Emphasis was turnovers.
We were just, you know, we wasn't handling the basketball wasn't taking care of it.
Being tough with it pivoting, and that was, you know, that was emphasis.
We tried to change a little bit of something on defense that really didn't work.
When we come back out in the second half.
But the emphasis was just turnovers.
We didn't force many and we didn't handle it, so you spent a lot of time in the gym 40 games this year.
I think Kylie Auman likes the corner.
She loves the corner three and then here.
That's scary because the lights you know it's hard to shoot in here and she shot a phenomenal, loves the corner 3.
So proud on Mount.
You know, I don't even know what to say.
You know you think about last year you guys were here.
Last year Allman had a great game here as well.
Did you think that played your your hand a little bit in this game?
'cause Mammoth Spring was a really good basketball team?
But do you think that helped you guys a little bit being here once before?
Yes, they're great.
They're great team, and that's where I feel like our advantage was.
I, you know, I beat them too early.
They beat me 4 late it was.
We were very similar.
But you know athleticism, but the advantage we had was that we had the experience.
You know, we we came here to do something.
We came here to win instead of.
You know, and I'm not saying they did or didn't, but we knew what our mission was that that was very, very critical for us.
I think, you know, I made the comment at halftime.
It's going to take one run and you might have said the same thing to your team with such a tight game, it's going to take one run and the start of that fourth quarter.
The 1st 3 minutes of the final period you guys really established your will.
Yes, Sir.
Yeah, it was.
We were down five or seven.
I just told him I said last time we got down 14 and then cut it back to three and I told him I said we're down seven, five or seven will stand this run and then we'll make one of our own and we did just that.
Congratulations and go celebrate with your team.
Thank you so much guys.
Thank you.
That was coach Stewart with North Fork.
Is the Panthers win it today by a final score of 4843.
We're waiting on the MVP to make her way over and talk with us.
And really, I mean Bobby.
Talking about Kylie Ullman and her shooting ability.
If she doesn't hit those threes early on in this ball game gets out of hands.
Guy, yeah, I think you have a much different ball game and as she makes her way over here, Kylie Allman is our Most Valuable Player and Kylie we were just talking about this game.
You kind of turned it around with a 3 point shot.
That corner you've got really excited today and you really enjoy hanging out the corner over there, don't you?
Yeah yeah.
So really, when you when you guys go in the locker room, I ask your coach.
You're down one at halftime.
You'd made a couple 3 point shots, but you really turned it on there in the second half.
What he tell you guys at halftime, this what he normally tells us, but he just mostly made thing we talked about was turnovers 'cause we had a bunch in the first half, but that was really a lot of teams struggle shooting in this in this gym.
You were here last year.
How much did playing here last year help you gain some cough in the shooting it?
I think since we were kind of more familiar with the gym than mammoth was and we were already more.
Like ready to play and they were like they were like us last year.
Just more than all that they got here.
Well Kylie.
Hey congratulations you guys.
When you're first state championship in school history ever, yeah and so congratulations.
Go celebrate with your team.
Thank you thank you.
That was Kylie Holman as she and her team win the 2022 one.
A girls state championship.
More basketball would come as it's the 1A boys up next.
