Welcome to Hot Springs, the site of the high school basketball state championship games.
And welcome into bank Ozk arena.
Hello everybody, I'm Westford joined by Bobby Swofford.
We're getting set for the 5A Girls state finals between Jonesboro and Greenwood.
They come from East Arkansas.
They come from West Arkansas right here to Central Arkansas for this big matchup to historically very strong programs.
And tonight or this afternoon one of them will take home with state champions and traditionally West.
These have been the two best teams at this classification for maybe the last decade.
They know how to get the Hot Springs, sure.
They came for completely different directions of the state, but Greenwood and Jonesboro have been on a collision course for most of the season, and now we get at the two best teams in class.
5/8 Scoring offer a title.
These two teams played last year in the second round, Jonesboro knocked off Greenwood on their route to winning A state championship.
So Jonesboro is trying to go back to back in Greenwood's trying to pick up another state title.
They're looking for their 6th state title, so Greenwood's been here, done that they're not going to be in awe this moment.
Yeah, and Clay Reeves.
There's a big reason why their coach.
He's got eight state championships.
You mentioned the five.
He's got a Greenwood one story at Greenland and who you're looking at on your screen right now is a big reason why the Lady Bulldogs are in this state championship right now.
Maddie Cartwright, 18 points, 5 rebounds a game if she's on Greenwood's got a chance to be champs today.
Some great players in this game.
Some D1 players in this game will highlight a couple of those when we come back.
We're getting set for the 5A Girls state finals between Jonesboro and Greenwood.
Today we will be.
This month in passport on the PBS video app.
Fasten your seat belt descended from mystery.
I didn't know what we were.
We're going to find out vintage Hot Springs.
Oh man.
Windshield starts making an unbelievable amount of money, and that money is said to be buried in upstate New York.
These and other shows from Arkansas PBS are available with passport on the PBS video app.
You know, I think sports are really big to a lot of people, and because it's an important part of our fabric and our community and the one good thing about what I've seen is its high quality production.
You know, you think of a small communities all over Arkansas.
It's a big deal that they can turn on the TV or DVR or whatever and they're going to get the quality product.
And so I think it just expands the the focus of what PBS is doing.
You know Arkansas PBS is doing a great job and and I think it's part of education.

It's a good two hours from here to Jonesboro or here to Greenwood, but I tell you what Bobby the fans have made the trip and it is already loud in here.
A lot of fans from Greenwood.
That's a project today is kind of Jonesboro day.
The Jonesboro Boys will play for a state championship right after this game, so I thought all the Jonesboro might be here and they could have that home.
At home crowd advantage, but I'll tell you what Greenwood has showed up in force.
Yeah, you mentioned that Jonesboro is here for the day they're expecting to leave here with two state championships.
But Greenwood expects to win championships to whether you're talking football baseball, softball doesn't matter.
And obviously, here, basketball the Greenwood faithful.
They travel in droves and today should be a really good atmosphere.
Some high school girls basketball.
Let's take a look at some of the key players to today's game.
We'll start with Greenwood, Bobby, yeah, Madison Cartwright, #3 or excuse me #2.
She's a player that remembers that game last year against Jonesboro.
Very well, she's got a little revenge on her mind.
18 points, 5.1 rebounds per contest.
You see it right there in the middle of your screen.
If she's on.
If she's knocking down shots with the perimeter, it's gonna make life a lot easier for her lady Bulldogs.
For Jonesboro, the other.
#2 Ariana Hardaway.
She's headed to North Texas after she's done here, 13 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds on the season.
That will be the two players to watch the number twos for each team at Green was going to try to use a zone of 131 and try to make Jonesboro beat them from the outside.
Try to negate their size advantage in the paint.
Makes a lot of sense because Jones rose gonna wanna work it inside to destiny Thomas.
Doesn't give a touch, but it is worse.
Be with the shot, it's no good.
How do they settle in and how does the Jonesboro man to man defense affect what Greenwood wants to do?
Lady Bulldogs wanna push the tempo, get down transition of course, made buckets are going to make that difficult for the Lady Bulldogs to accomplish.
See Jonesboro coming out man to man defense playing some tight defense.
Destiny Thomas dares her to take the three.
She does no good.
Well, Thomas has to come out and guard that three.
That leaves nobody inside the rebound, and Greenville gets the first rebound of the game.
They are first offensive rebound.
Tried again from the outside again, it's no good.
That's gonna be the key point.
West of Greenwood can knock down shots, especially early and calm the nerves 'cause they really struggled against this Jonesboro team in the finals four years ago and watched the Lily hurricane celebrate Johnson for three.
No good board grabbed by trustee trustee will bring it on down the court.
Cartwright drives in draws the contact.
No foul Thomas was set.
Had her hands straight in the air and no call Jones role in the other way.
Hardaway set things up for Jonesboro.
Here we go.
Johnson is going to show a little patience.
You can see how no, I'm not gonna call it slow but Greenwood's a little slow to react with swinging the basketball 'cause they want them to shoot it from the outside so they will shoot it from the outside.
Good luck, no good from Hardaway.
When he try to rotate the defense quickly, that's going to open up passing lanes to the post.
Right pixel, smaller defender inside shots.
No good Jonesboro up with the rebound Johnson running with him.
Johnson baseline jumper no good.
See Thomas there.
That link gets the offensive rebound so Jonesboro gets another possession.
Still no score.
You can see the nerves.
Neither one of these teams able to settle in just yet.
Johnson 15 footer rattles out Thomas with the board.
Oh no good.
She'll go to the free throw live.
That's the one thing that Greenwood doesn't have an answer for, at least as far as the size they're gonna have to trust some different things to slow down destiny.
Thomas inside the six foot three forward is already making her presence felt on the offensive glass.
Let's see how trustees A6 footer for Greenwood.
That's really it.
And it looks like he and even.
Bigger size advantage when they're out there on the court, it seems like Thomas is much bigger than 345 inches.
She's and then it's the length also to just reach above everybody.
She does a nice job of tapping the ball that maybe just out of her reach to herself to be able to create second chance opportunities.
Tom Savage is 12 1/2 points a game, 10 rebounds.
She gets the first two points on free throws or one point for on a free throw from Jonesboro.
Yeah, two points for Jonesboro.
Greenwood drives in price.
Off the glass she attacked.
Thomas Summit gets the 1st 2 for Greenwood Dr Kick outside Jonesboro Thomas with the board.
So even when Greenwood has the position just the size advantage and the length of Thomas gets what looks like to be a second chance but she turned it over Cartwright and pull it out.
Didn't have the numbers.
Ralong 3 God tickle the time West Megan Gray wide open on that left wing a good two steps beyond the arc and drilled it.
Johnson decided against it.
Hardaway, Johnson wide open doesn't want it.
I've given a lot of attention to Thomas inside 2 girls walking her out.
Just the two, nine to three so Greenwood maintains a league that's a big bucket though.
For Jonesboro, they need to knock down a few outside shots.
Jasmine Hooks does it there because if they don't make shots West, it's obviously speaking the obvious here Greenwood just going to continue to pack the zone.
Make some shots, force that defense to come out and guard you.
There were two defenders dedicated to Thomas that the entire possession and both of them tried to block her out.
Absolutely get the basket from trusty.
Greenwood takes a 3 point lead.
That's where she is so good.
I had a chance to watch her earlier this season.
She likes the shot fake drive, get to four to six feet and finish, and a trustee averages 16 points in a good start for her tonight.
Trying to work it inside you just can't get destiny Thomas open.
Hard away with it.
Just keep your eyes on Thomas.
Download all the attention she gets.
510 Abbey summit.
The six footer trusty just not giving really anything inside.
Pretty much at all times.
They're going to keep two there, and that's going to open things up.
Jonesville picks their way.
That's hard away to the basket.
That's a great draw.
By Hardaway, she recognized all the attention on Thomas down low, found Elaine got to the rim section in the corner to trustee.
Five mile Jonesboro 2-3 pointers for the Lady Bulldogs.
They're crowd stealing it.
They're knocking down shots from the outside.
They're gonna be tough to slow down.
Bulldogs lead at 5:50.
You're watching the Centennial State Bank championships on Arkansas PBS sports.
It's well over 2000 Arkansas Rice farms.
96% of them are family owned and operated.
It's all about building communities.
They results we've been seeing have been very promising.
I grew up watching the farm, knowing every detail about it.
If you take care of the soul, the soul take care of you.
It helps us to give back to the land and make sure that it's going to be there for future generations.
Every community has a story to tell.
If somebody will tell it, it'll be interesting.
Back at Bank Ozk Arena for the 5/8 Girls State championship game, Jonesboro Greenwood Greenwood jumps out to a 10 to 6 lead after making two of their 43 pointers.
That's the difference in the game.
Jonesboro over 4 Greenwood 2 for four.
Jones Rose getting a lot of shots, a lot of chances inside the lane, but just two of 10 to start this.
They are leading in the rebounding category seven to five there, so they got to take advantage of those second chances when you get them.
Hardaway brings it up Greenwood's going to stay in that zone and why not it's been successful.
Shot from the corners good, no good, but there's Greenwood for the rebound.
Cartwright brings it down.
Lady Bulldogs wanna get out and run a nice shot by Jonesboro to slag back.
Get back on defense now they're gonna try to switch it up.
Moving to the zone Deep 3 back in the room.
No good.
Greenwood Hustle almost kissed the board.
Megan Gray we're just two seniors on this team, but it's a lot of minutes.
Megan Gray and Abby summit.
We talked a lot about Cartwright, trustee and Sexton, Trustee, and Sexton are sophomores Cartwright, just a junior.
It's going to be a trend all weekend long with a lot of really young talent, especially on these teams.
On the girls side in the finals, we're gonna see a lot of freshmen, a lot of sophomores log significant minutes.
Who's real working gets that Greenwood defense at zone giving them some issues right now.
We looked at drive in, Kick It Out and just driving shoot.
It runs good drive from Johnson.
Just wouldn't fall for her to be able to convert when you get in the paint, Greenwood finds an open shooter in the corner, another through.
Greenwood's not afraid to launch it that one summit buries one in the corner.
They've got a 13-6 lead.
Lead up to 7.
Brooks and Johnson throwing it around.
It's hard away in the corner.
She drives off the glass and good, it's a great heads up play by Hardaway.
She knows they're gonna close out on her, especially in the corner.
She immediately puts it on the deck, gets to the rim, they put Hardaway in that corner where it's a little easier, not as much attention on her where she's at the front at the top of the circle.
Everybody is looking at it when she tries to dry.
That's a good adjustment by coach Christenberry another long 3 from Greenwood.
It's a hustle from Greenwood right there there were three Jones Rd girls there to get the rebound.
They kind of looked at each other thinking someone else was going to get the rebound.
It was green with that, hustles in, flies in and gets the board gets another shot and it pays off.
Anti Summit knocks it down.
Got a great job just avoid the steel step inside the arc.
Knock down the long tube.
Hardaway looking to drive kicks it out.
She deftly, Thomas worked a little harder to get that ball, get that possession.
Actually, she's not in there.
She they gave her a break.
For substitution of the game.
That Thomas in there.
Shot up rebound no good Greenwood over the back, no jump ball.
Arrows gonna point to the Lady Bulldogs in the Jonesboro crowd.
We're certainly looking for it over the back.
Call like you you mentioned there.
And that did.
That was just the length of trustee.
There she was able to go over the much smaller Jonesboro player, tie up the basketball before the contact was made.
At least in the official size destiny Thomas back in there to Kera, Anderson came in, gave her a little bit of a break, last 15 seconds of the first quarter.
Fast first quarter.
Greenwood up 7 he would knock him down the threes three of seven so far.
Can it be four of eight?
No, but they get the offensive rebound once again with those long rebounds and greeting when they gotta shoot it, chasing it down deep three at the buzzer.
No good but Greenwood will take the lead 15 to 8 into the second quarter you're watching the Centennial Bank State Championship games on Arkansas PBS Sports.

A very fast first quarter here in Hot Springs is the 5/8 Girls State championship game between Greenwood and Jonesboro.
I'm Westmore, joined by Bobby Swofford.
Greenwood hit some threes.
That was the difference.
Three of nine in the first quarter.
Yep, yeah.
It'll knock down shots.
Jonesboro really struggled from the field.
Just three of their first 15.
A lot of that coming inside the lane, jonesboro's.
Gotta find a way to hit shots in the paint.
To get themselves back into this contest.
Also Greenwood's gonna be happy the rebounding total is tide at 10 after one quarter Jonesboro with the size advantage with destiny.
Thomas they working inside to Thomas.
She kicks it straight back out there inside out for three good.
Good way to get a wide open three.
Throw it into your post player, she dishes it back out the hard way.
The two seniors hook up and get Jonesboro.
Their first three.
Eric sat inside out wide open.
Three Doug Great formula textbook on both ends.
Hardaway and then Greenwood answers with their own triple.
By the way it drives kicks it back out to Johnson.
She drives in Thomas there off the defenders Reddit hands so.
But don't forget the rebound.
They'll keep possession.
You know, Jonesboro had the rebounding advantage when Thomas went to the bench at that media timeout, Greenwood was able to respond and tie it up.
Like you mentioned, his first four or five minutes of the quarter gonna be huge for Jonesboro.
Take advantage of the size inside.
Down in the corner.
Three up no good little long.
And if your Jonesboro and coach Christenberry though West, I mean those are the shots you want your open in the corner.
You're running your offense or going inside out right now, things just are not falling.
And we've seen a lot of times you get into arena that you're not used to playing.
The depth perception is a little off, takes a little time to get warmed up.
Sexton tries to three.
It's long goes out of bounds.
Jonesboro will have it.
Good effort by trustee.
They said she stepped on the line before she could save it.
Jonesboro's got to find a way to get there.
Crowd back into it Greenwood there were perimeter shooting starting to kind of lean on this Jonesboro crowd.
One foul called so far in this game referee is Robert Frazier just on Harris and Jake Black.
Officials in this father girls title game.
Like how they're calling it.
Let them play a little bit, absolutely.
Hardaway shakes those inside nothing there kicks it back out.
Kickball, it's been a really clean game as far as possessions do, only one turnover combined, and that was on Greenwood as we played almost 10.
Full minutes of gaming time.
Hardaway sees Johnson inside Johnson kicks it back out.
No work it.
Almost to turn over gotta jump ball it will go to Greenwood.
So second turnover in the game.
That's just where the length of that.
On top of that zone for Greenwood you've got the six footer trustee at the top of his own.
A lot of times you're not going to see that kind of length in the passing lane that time.
It forces the turnover.
John Paul extending their man to man defense.
Good Tip, pass out to the corner.
No good.
Thomas has the rebound comes hard away with it.
Hardaway looking to run she threw it to an open spot.
Problem was her teammate didn't go to that spot.
This is what Greenwood wants to do.
Trust the album, transition gets that 4 to 6 foot range.
Uses the window for safety in the leads back to 9.
Johnson thought about it.
There's nothing there for destiny, Thomas.
She's just gonna have to work to get get the ball.
She's staying on that left block a little bit and nothing there Johnson finally hits.
That's a big shot for Johnson.
Shoots struggle from the floor.
Maybe that jump starts her confidence and trickles down to her teammates.
You tell Johnson is a shooter and she came out in the first quarter shooting it.
She was over 4 from the three point line and then she started hesitating.
Then she started thinking about it.
That time after passing up a couple of shots, she decided to pull the trigger again and knocked it down and missed her first eight shots from the field to finally knock that one down.
And you're gonna start start to see her calm down a little bit and get boards of her game.
There's a coaches you know she's a shooter.
You know that she can knock it down.
At some point, you just tell her.
Keep on shooting.
She came into the game averaging 14 points and five rebounds.
A 44% shooter from the field.
So Coach is going to stick with him.
Brooklyn Woolsey off the bench.
First time we've called her name her three off the mark.
Now Jonesboro, a chance to get back with him forward for the first time since mid first quarter.
Better keep an eye on Johnson.
She's got that look in her eye.
Here she is from the corner.
No good, they did a great job of blocking out Destiny Thomas 3 Greenwood Defenders were around her to make sure she didn't get that offensive rebound.
They're starting to face guard trustee way out here near the logo.
Going to make sure #3 and why it doesn't beat them some.
It gets it to a teammate.
There's no good Jonesboro fans behind us.
One of the foul.
They're not going to get it.
There's a lot of contact there is Elena Ortiz be the freshman?
Hit the floor with contact with trustee.
No call, there's going to be a turnover and a big break for Greenwood as we hit the media timeout.
You are watching the Centennial Bank State championships on Arkansas.

Back at Bank Ozk Arena second quarter action between Greenwood and Jonesboro, Greenwood, leading a 20 to 14, Greenwood came into this game ranked number one in the final five.
A poll #8 in the overall rankings.
Jonesboro, right behind them, ranked #3 and 5A and ranked number 10 in the state.
In the overall rankings, two of the top ten teams in the state and you can tell they are two of the best teams from the action we've seen so far.
And both of these teams did a really nice job of loading up the nonconference schedule because, you know.
You know what?
What kind of team you're gonna have when you make the schedule.
In the following this season and you look at Greenwoods 4 losses this year, number one.
Overall Conway North side who's what always in the top five North Little Rock.
Who's in the top five?
Oh by the way, those two teams in the large school finals and they lost the Vallonia, a team that's ranked in the top ten all season long.
So Greenwood, alongside Jonesboro, loaded the non con schedule and it made him better to get to this point.
Greenwood drives in pull up, no good destiny.
Thomas is there for the rebound and Jonesboro.
Look to attack.
Here's Johnson with it.
She pulls it out.
Look, they look inside for destiny.
That's how their first reaction, you catch it.
Then you look and see if she's open.
If she's rolling towards you in that time destiny roll towards the ball for the first time.
A lot of times she's just setting up on that right low block and just staying there.
I I want to see your work a little bit more and get that position and that time she rolled to the ball, got it, they threw it to her and they foul there when they threw the ball into her.
That's a good point because Greenwood's been able to force her off of that block.
It's a 6 to 8 feet outside of her comfort zone and now finally see if they can establish her in the lane.
Johnson with it on the right wing.
Continued to throw it around looking in.
Johnson, with the turnover, the Cartwright with it Cartwright Dr and pull up.
No good, but Thomas with the rebound.
Throw coming the other way and we got another turnover at summit with him.
That's why Greenwood wants to pick up the pace.
Try to get into a track.
Me 'cause they think that Jonesboro is going to turn it over more than hurt them in the transition game.
Gray those are over to Sexton and Sexton.
Can't knock down the three.
All the way to Johnson down in that corner.
Open three.
No good.
Hardaway drives in.
She kicks it out to Johnson.
Driving in the defense collapsed, kicking out the Johnson.
We started ovate in this contest, but she starting to really heat up for Jonesboro.
She's knocked down two of her last three and both times it was inside out action.
You knocked it down to three and all of a sudden your defensive intensity picks up a little bit.
Sex is looking for a teammate finally finds Summit summit out to Grey.
Grey kicks it back out summit for three go good example of the inside out.
Greenwood.
Caleb gave up a couple open looks there, drive the lane, collapse the defense and the Lady Bulldog stop the Jonesboro run Johnson again.
Or just let it go out of bounds at the big basket by Greenwood.
Jonesboro had a little momentum.
Knock down the three to make it a 3 point game.
That's the closest they've been in a while and Greenwood answers.
With the victory of their own.
Now you're exactly right.
Lead has been his largest 9 for the Lady Bulldogs, but Jonesboro starting to chip away, chip away.
Greenwood had wet and cold from the field, but that's huge.
3 pointer for the Lady Bulldogs pushes the lead back to six section is going to come out for a few minutes.
Adrenal rawsons in baseline jumper.
Russell gets the rebound she's thrown into the game.
It's a hustle board.
Almost got another one.
Home for goes up big.
That was horse be with it.
Hardaway, driving in gets, picked her pocket picked trusted coming the other way trustee with the left hand off the glass.
No good job or batch it up in the air.
Thomas is there to get it.
That's a great job defensively to get back and forth from his shop.
The Greenwood ties him up and fortunately for the Lady Hurricane going to keep possession.
Jonesboro fans didn't like that they thought there was a foul.
Connor and the coach is still talking about that too, and they've they've let him play.
Faust has certainly not been an issue up to this point.
Last minute of the first half Greenwood with a 6 point lead.
If their content to take their time, maybe keep Greenwood.
No, I'll say that they took with turn it over, tried to force it to the high post.
Hardaway fits would be called a block.
I call nuts favorable with this side of the floor.
Will be on the floor though they see.
See how aggressive Greenwood wants to be with 28.7 on the game clock, there's a little late on the replay.
Couldn't really see we were trying to get it in.
Got close to the five seconds.
Russell with it, she'll throw it out top 20 seconds left in the first half.
Ray kicks it out over the trustee.
With 12.4 seconds left in the half.
Lady Bulldogs going to bleed this down from the final possession.
If they can add to that six point lead.
Brain will take it up top less than 10 to go Gray drives, kicks it to Rawson Rawson drives in out to a teammate in a corner, three at the buzzer.
No good, it will not count.
They're waving it off already.
Greenwood wants it, but it was pretty plain to me in real time.
That that was too late.
That's a great drive by Russell gets to the baseline, recognizes the open teammate.
In the corner of the shot doesn't go, but up the except look you want.
If you're Greenwood, who missed the final four shots of the half but turnovers started to pick up for Jonesboro, they got within four.
But Lady Bulldogs have a six point lead as we hit the break halftime here at Bank Ozk arena, stick around second half action coming.
This is the Centennial Bank State championships on Arkansas PBS Sports.

It's natural to begin serving with our kids safety, but when they're riding the school bus, we shouldn't have to be illegally passing.
A school bus puts our children's lives at risk.
That's why Everett is joining area schools to promote the flashing red kids ahead safety program.
School bus safety is everyone's responsibility.
Do your part Ali stop when you see the flashing red lights of a school bus.
Children's lives depend on it.
Remember flashing red kids ahead.
It's halftime of the 5/8 Girls State championship game.
Westmore, Bobby Swofford with your Greenwood, leads us 2317 at the break, they started off hot from the three point line and kind of cooled down that allowed Jonesboro to creep back in there.
But it was a big Greenwood three there.
Towards the end.
The half that got us to where we are six point lead from Greenwood, you're exactly right, Jonesboro made that run, and every team always makes that initial push.
How do you respond to a Greenwood who cooled down significantly, only shooting 32%?
In this first happened hit, a big three pushes back to six points, and that's where we sit right now.
Not Jonesboro.
Did a great job once they finally started attacking that zone of going inside out, and I think that's got what coach is gonna be talking about after half we gotta work at inside out.
Look for.
Yeah, we're going to try to find Destiny Thomas, but they're they're putting so much focus on it right there.
You see, there are three defenders on her.
She kicks it out wide open.
Three, that's the one thing that Jonesboro is going to have to be able to do.
But they also calm down once they saw that.
One jump shot.
Go through on the net.
It was Hardaway who hits the first three and they started to settle down.
Johnson, who missed her first eight shots from the field, finally got one to go.
I think this Jonesboro team is going to be a lot calmer, a lot more relaxed than the second half, and I think this one is far from over.
But Greenwood, you know they're not shooting well.
This five of 18 from distance.
If they start to heat up, knock it down into more consistent clip.
They could really stretch this one out.
Jonesboro will have to clean up their turnovers.
Also, it was a very well played cleanly played game in the first quarter with just one turnover.
But Jonesboro had six additional turnovers in the second quarter.
Greenwood still hasn't committed a turnover in this game.
Yeah, and that's that's what Greenwood wants.
They want us pick up the pace and speed you up because they think that they're gonna be more under control, force you into more turnovers than they're going to give you.
And that creates some easy buckets for the lady Bulldogs.
More from bank Ozk arena.

Those unique stories no one else is telling, like our Emmy Award winning documentary about a truly unique blacksmithing operation in the hills of Mountain View.
Here's a look at the Ozark artistry of Urban Forge.
Blacksmith and you've got to know how to do it from start to finish.
It took me a lot to learn what I learned, what I know and I still learn, you know, I get things that come along that like gal I'm going to do that.
Obviously not the easiest line of work in the world.
Patience is definitely a virtue in blacksmithing.
Artisan blacksmith and coppersmiths and woodcarvers and finish artisans who all interpret wonderful designs that we create for people all across the country.
It's just got us all unique pattern and no matter how hard you try, you can't get two pieces to look like because it is all hand done.
The old one I'm really interested in passing everything onto that, did I know is my son, like when there's been techniques lost over the years, there's been knowledge lost and we may never get that back we got it takes to new guy or this ain't gonna be around much longer.
People out there that would be great at it and I don't think many people know.
You know that this exists, but it's still you know in its own right, a beautiful front part pieces of artwork that people will want to hand down to their children.
We want to design something that can be a vessel for memories forever.
You know, Ed the characters we met, Matt Film.
There's something else.
They are.
I got a chance to spend a lot of time with those guys and they're the real deal.
Their artistry is beautifully captured here in this show in the cinematography.
The story of their art form.
It's a beautiful program and it's always available urban forge, just like all our content is just a few clicks away on demand.

Take a look at the gorgeous exploring Arkansas from above.
Arkansas, the natural state does indeed have many natural wonders, beauty that can especially be appreciated from a bird's eye view.
This is our exploration of a unique state with an aerial cinematic perspective covering all Four Seasons.
And Arkansas, you've got the delta, the mountains, rivers from above had so much to it.
So many people are surprised at what we have here is just as beautiful as any other state.
Welcome to exploring Arkansas from above.
I love this so much and you've never seen Arkansas like this.
It's one of the most beautiful shows we've ever done and the most unique view of our great state, right?

Arkansas is one of the most productive and diverse agricultural states in the nation.
And with that in mind, last spring we partnered with Arkansas Farm Bureau to explore rural community life, Agri business and much more.
Here is a taste of good roots.
Well over 2000 Arkansas last farms.
96% of them are family owned and operated.
It's all about building communities.
The results we've been seeing have been very promising.
I grew up watching the farm knowing every detail about it.
If you take care of the soul, the soul take care of you.
It helps us to give back to the land and make sure that it's going to be there for future generations.
Every community has a story to tell.
If somebody will tell it, it'll be interesting.

Hey, it's about that time.
Thanks for joining us.
For halftime, let's get you back to Bank Ozk Arena for more championship action on your home for the Arkansas Basketball State finals.
Arkansas PBS enjoy the second half.
We're back at Bank Ozk, Arena Westmore, Bobby Swofford.
With you.
It's the 658 girls we got 68 girls later on tonight, but this is the five a girls Greenwood and Jonesboro and Bonnie we just made it back in time for the second half of Greenwood just made it back in time for the second half.
There's fashionably late, and there's what Greenwood just did.
They waited till 12 seconds we're on the warm up.
Block at the half to to hit the floor.
But folks Clayton Reeves, using every bit of that time to find a way to slow down the inside game in the rebounding game of Jonesboro and Destiny.
Thomas pic 34.
Inside he's got to be happy with the way they defended her definite size advantage and she got one shot.
She's out for one.
Jonesboro is not going to win this shot if she's only taking one shot.
They're doing a really good job of pushing her away from the block where she's uncomfortable or they're trying to make her play a little defense right now.
Fans wanted to walk, didn't get it.
Instead what they got was an Abbey summit three to get us started in the second half and what a great sequence to start.
This second half.
They don't get to turn over and then knocked down to three and now greenwoods, matching their largest lead at 9, Hardaway will go to the free throw line to try to knock it down.
Just a second trip to the foul line for either one of these squads Jonesboro, two of two from the stripe in the first half.
Greenwood yet to shoot one.
Hardaway's first free throw no good.
I liked how Hardaway attacked that time after the three.
That was clearly something a point of emphasis if you will, for coach christenberry at the half got to be more aggressive trying to get some easier shots.
Hardaway heading to North Texas after this is averaging 13 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, good free throw shooter making 82% but only one of two on that trip.
Eight point Green would leave early third quarter.
It's really big possession here for Jonesboro defense.
Not to state the obvious.
We never wanna fall down double digits, specially gets a really good team like Greenwood but trustee gets the midrange jumper to go largest lead of the contest comes hard away so she attacks again.
Johnson down in the corner.
Hardaway, shop there for Hardaway big answer bucket.
Summit find sex and sex and thought about it.
Cartwright drives in got bumped, no call.
He's been quiet today.
West.
Maddie Cartwright, 05, from the field yet to score at 23 in the semifinal game.
Johnson fires again.
Greenwood could not bring in that offensive.
Rebound Abbey Summit got her hands on it, but just couldn't corral.
It goes out of bounds with Jonesboro.
Will keep it.
Jasmine hooks those it in.
Hardaway, into the corner to Johnson Johnson from about 10, got it to go nice little euro, step right outside the lane, created from space for her for Big 50, run all the way to the basket and the foul go to the free throw line.
Tom Green Woods earned a trip to the stripe and Nice aggressive look.
Try to force the tempo there.
Beat Jones.
Roll back defensively yourself.
Two shots.
Trustee justice Sophomore average of 16 1/2 points a game.
Really good free throw shooter making 81% of her free throws.
She had a big game in the semifinals.
221 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists.
Think of a 6 foot sophomore.
You're gonna see her on the block that's not making trustees game.
She plays up top on the zone.
She can beat you from the inside and the out trustee has 11.
Summit 13.
You see right there the great job Greenwood did.
Blocking out destiny Thomas.
She was reaching for that ball.
But even with her link, she couldn't get to it.
He did a great job of just pushing her out from underneath three from the corner trustee, no.
Jones rode with the hustle on the rebound, trying to take it coast to coast.
No good on the way up.
Yeah, little out of control there from Moresby.
I like the aggressiveness.
Maybe jump, stop there trying to go off the window, trustee finds her teammate right there, the corner corner 3 from Cartwright's no good, her struggles continued.
Hardaway, she wants to take it all the way, forces up a shot.
She's going to get bailed out.
Green was trying to take a charge, but the bump caused the foul and should go back to the free throw line.
Could have been set, but I think she was starting to move backwards a little bit when contact was made.
An official thinks of flops gonna happen.
That's gonna cause gonna go to the office.
He mentioned she's at 80% for the season and it's two already here in the third quarter.
I've heard 82% from the free throw line.
Rattle tone, so it's a six point game.
Midway through the third quarter.
Sexton brings it down.
Summit looking inside.
C. Jones, Verona.
They're playing a loose.
Yeah, they're playing a little zone right now.
They changed it up.
Deep 3 for Greenwood.
No good.
That was great with it.
I like it when Jonesboro runs and picks up pace, they're able to seem like get some better shots.
That's Johnson for three off the back of the rim.
Cartwright with the rebound.
Both of these teams like the run, but they think it's going to give the other team an advantage, so neither one of them really getting up.
Tempo Cartwright tried to take a coast to coast and she just came by a basket right now.
It's hard away.
She found an opening great pass inside.
It was just fantastic.
Great saw Destiny Thomas making movement.
Just left it for a nice job to get.
Thomas involved a little bounce pass inside.
She's able to handle it.
Go off the glass and what was it in Poile, Greenwood, up in front there?
Advantage now cut to four just the first basket of the game for Destiny.
Thomas only second shot.
Four point game, 3 1/2 minutes to go in the third.
Jonesboro Zone is slowing it down a little bit for Greenwood.
Gray sexy displayed catch for a little bit and then Saxon pulled the trigger.
It's a big shot for Sexton.
Missed her first five shots for the game, all from deep.
Finally gets one to Rydal home.
Sophomore hits the big shot.
Hardaway, in Johnson, play catch back and forth.
Hardaway drives leaves it open for Johnson.
She drives in shot, partially blocked.
She gets the rebound, puts it up.
It's good.
Mya Johnson junior averaging 14 a game.
She's got eight now.
Find a way to get in the lane if you're Jonesboro, think that's where it would be most advantageous.
We'll get back into this contest.
Sex did change sides this time.
It's great, Nope.
If we don't need to have that three point line, we're bank ozk green was going to launch it from anywhere on the floor.
Hardaway binding destiny Thomas for easy to both of these teams, starting to drag a little bit, they're waiting for that media timeout.
Haven't had a stoppage in play, it seems like forever.
3 point game.
Marie in the corner.
Trusted section out top.
Nice.
So.
That'll give us our first media timeout long third quarter.
When you're out there on the court, playing with over whistles.
They are tired right now.
Got a good finish shaping up.

Greenwood jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter, 15 to 8.
Since then, Jonesboro outscored him 9 to 8 the second quarter and then 13 to 10 here in the third quarter.
So Jonesboro just steadily trying to claw back.
Fight back into this game and it's a 3 point game with under 2 minutes to go in the third quarter.
That was a really big run.
Greenwood up push to lead all the way up to double digits.
But since that point they've gone cold.
Only hit one of their last eight field goal attempts.
Jonesboro chance that I it was a 3.
Working inside Destiny, Thomas is sitting on the bench and we seem to care Anderson for the second time in this game and Anderson is fouled.
She'll head to the free throw line.
I like to play design their W Thomas goes to the bench.
You think they're going to settle for more things on the perimeter, but Anderson, they get her rolling to the basket and nice spending pin there.
Get her chance to get to the foul line.
Free throws, short hits off the front of the rim.
Second, looks good.
Seems like coach Christenberry for Jonesboro.
Just giving DHA city a little extended timeout uses that media timeout, gets her arrest during the timeout, then a possession or two often.
Already she's at the scorers table.
You see her there at midcourt.
That's exactly right.
You coaches.
Can you know, kind of use that media timeout each quarter to their advantage?
Ray, no good with it, but look at the rebound by trustee.
Great job by Anna trusted to get inside.
You mentioned averaging 6 rebounds.
A contest crashes, the offensive glass gets a second chance points.
Well knocked out of bounds but Greenwood.
Destiny Thomas will re-enter the game rebounds per 30 to 19.
Right now, Jonesboro dominating on the glass, little second chance.
Points right there gonna be huge for Greenwood and those are just hustle rebounds so they're long rebounds and they just they're getting to the ball faster.
That's a little bit of trouble.
She dribbles out.
Hardaway gets it back.
Hardaway finds an open teammate for three ORS be no good.
There's a hustle rebound almost for Jonesburg goes off their hands the horse be hustling for trying to track down their own miss.
Freshman found ways to impact this game.
You have.
No, she's always six from the field.
6 rebounds, almost pulled down his seventh there, but that one deflected out of bounds.
John Farrell back to play man to man on this possession.
Wide open 3 from sex and girl down two in a row West and the sophomores feeling it she started oh for five and now she's 2 for seven.
After knocking down back to back shots this seems like anytime Jonesboro makes a run Greenwood able to knock down a shot from distance.
Or sweet drives in leaves it for Johnson.
Hardaway look at the dry, picks her way and gets the foul.
They're just making everything tougher.
Jonesburg trying to attack the basket.
Good drive there by Hardaway, but she had to weave her way through three defenders on the trip to the strike.
That'll reach in foul hard with free throw line misses the first one, it's the third straight trip she's made to the free throw line, and she missed the first of two that she was able to knock down the 2nd.
But the new trailer like this you need you need to get two of them.
It's a small sample size that she gets one or two, but four Miss free throws here in the third quarter.
For Jonesboro, those things tend to add up, especially in the waning moments in close games.
Greenwood 16 seconds ago in the third quarter.
Six point lead.
Down to 10.
Cartwright driving in Cartwright short.
1.3 seconds left saying went off Destiny Thomas.
Cart ride just can't get anything to go the leading scorer for the Lady Bulldogs oh of nine from the field.
Still yet to get a point.
You don't count it.
That was a slow clock right there at 1.3 seconds I I would've kept waiting for the buzzer to go off, but it didn't may have been a slow trigger finger, but you know, like give Anna trustee credit, she knocks it down before the light comes on.
It's good and Greenwood has an 8 point lead as we go to the fourth quarter.

Danger Zone for Jonesboro.
They're down by 8 here in the fourth quarter.
They're gonna need some stops and score something on their own.
Drive Kick It Out good.
That's where the the size advantage of Destiny Thomas comes to your advantage with Greenwood.
Able to make the extra baskets the easy shot.
And again the lead back in double digits, sacks and three in a row now.
It's amazing how you see one go through the net, start to calm down.
Confidence starts to go up.
Johnson on the floor gets the loose ball part away with it.
Hardaway driving in, gets her shot, blocked it's part right with it.
A great job on Maddie Cartwright to make an impact on the defensive and when things aren't going her way on the other ride part right?
They got into the push off with the Greenwood fans are gonna want the blocking foul.
A little earlier, a lot of contact with that play both ways.
Let's play Reeves.
Once the ticket timeout almost troops down a little bit.
I think he's a little frustrated with William Mattie Carter.
I tried to take over there to understand it, but ten point lead 7 minutes 11 seconds to play is going to be feeling pretty good about his team.
Up 1042 thirty two look at some of the scores trustee with 15 Summit 13 for Greenwood.
They're leading the way and you mentioned Cartwright such a big part of this team.
She had 23 points in the semifinals, averaging 18 points a game on the season.
And she is oh, for 9 has not scored yet.
If you would have told that that stat line to both of these coaches before the game, they would have said Jonesboro is leaving this game by 10.
But you got to give a lot of credit to trustee to grade is somewhat.
Miss Sexton, the other players.
I'm not going to call him role players with the other members of that starting five for green would have picked up the slack despite the rebounding discrepancy.
Finding a way to knock down shots and they're frustrating Jonesboro.
They just can't seem to make that big run to get over the hump.
That offensive foul just called on Cartwright first turnover of the game.
That's green wild opening second to the fourth quarter.
Your first turnover.
You talk about free throws and turnovers are crucial junctures of the game and you go that far.
You haven't missed the free throw.
Greenwood you play 25 minutes essentially at game time.
Don't turn the basketball over fundamentally sound and that's why they've got a 10 point lead here in the fourth.
Neither team had to turn over the third quarter.
Jonesboro had seven turnovers at the half, and they're still sitting at 7.
It's been a clean game.
Shots aren't falling field goal percentage in the 30s for both teams, but who can make the last run to capture a 5A Crown heart away with it?
She leads Jonesboro with 13 points into the corner, back out the hard way.
Corner the mall Johnson.
She throws it up as she's going to the ground.
Destiny Thomas with the rebound and the foul she can't get the basket to go.
She just stares up at the ceiling.
She knows she should have made that one that was that was a chippy.
There hit her on the left arm going up and those are police.
She's used to converting so she can do some damage at the foul line.
Trying to get this lady Hurricane team back in it.
Thomas is 2 for two from the free throw line today making three for three.
Thomas was just her.
Haven't pointed the game.
The last 7 minutes of this game, West, she's going to have a huge impact, even though that free throw off the mark like you gotta go inside the 34.
Jonesborough, through little press.
Adam Green Greenwood didn't have any problem breaking it.
Orders be over on Cartwright.
Sex and just hold it out there.
So this all trustee with a little speed advantage.
She knew it.
She knew she could take Destiny Thomas to the whole and she did it.
She got buyer and drew the foul good drive by trustee.
She's two of two from the foul line.
The only player for Greenwood to be at the stripe.
And I'm a touch foul there.
Tough break on Thomas.
First miss at the free throw line today for Greenwood.
Second shot is good.
10 point lead.
Biggest lead of the day for Greenwood.
Well, that's right dribble Dr.
They've been the most successful when they get in the paint, pick it out for an open shot has Jonesboro.
How do we thought about it?
She will pull the trigger.
This time she got it good ball, movement up top, Hardaway gotta carry the torch for Jonesboro Big three their full court press for Jonesboro.
CART ride to the basket.
She's fouled by Thomas.
She'll go the free throw line chance to get her first points of the game.
Good aggressive drive.
Nice job by Greenwood.
Get the ball in the middle of the floor.
Reverse side.
Now you got a 201 fast break opportunity.
Currently I tried to do herself a lot of contacts.
She'll try to go to a foul line, get her first points, took it up strong.
No shying away from the bigger defender.
Quit right at her.
That's textbook press brake to the West and you get the ball.
The middle floor you turn, you look back side and then immediately you have numbers.
Cartwright goes 2 for two first two points of the game.
After starting over 9, she goes the free throw line and the key moment knocks them both down.
Good for her.
All the way over to Johnson.
Working in the corner to ORS B3 rattles home what a shot by the freshmen oh of six to start the contest.
Huge three Jonesboro back within 6 back to back threes for Jonesboro that gets them within six almost the turnover.
Cartwright and Greenwood will reset it.
Maybe try to work a little your clock here.
Obviously way too early to bleed it down and make him come out and guard you.
No need to get in a hurry.
We're going to make Destiny Thomas get out their way away from the rim and try to play a little defense and defend somebody.
Sexton draws the foul.
Foul away from the basket on Thomas and that's not something that Jonesboro wants to see.
They need every minute and every foul to give.
Give it up 25 feet from the basket for 34.
Thomas is not in the game plan, that's her third foul of the game.
No.
Greenwood, but the way they have they, they basically have 5 guards in there, so Thomas has to guard somebody.
If you're going to try to extend it, play full court or all over the court.
You can't really protect her unless you're going to play his own, but if you sit back in that zone, Greenwood just bleeds the clock trying to make him come out and and guard him.
Maybe pick up a foul almost turned it over, though.
Sex it drives in kicks it out trusty jumper no good.
Got a file called.
Didn't loud in here.
Couldn't hear the whistle initially right place at the right time was Sexton.
Rebound comes right to wear in coach Kristen.
Very wants to talk things over.
Maybe get her squad.
An extra break ticket timeout now.
Next dead ball after the four minute mark going to be the media timeout.
Not the deepest team is Jonesboro.
Get an extra extra break for your your starting five to finish this game off strong.
He could Jonesboro is only played yeah six players so far today.
Did Jackson get in?
Yeah she got in for a couple minutes so seven players today so far for Jonesboro Greenwoods pretty much in the same boat.
I mean, you're talking four players who have not come out of the contest for Greenwood.
Two players who played three minutes or less.
So fatigue may be a factor handling emotions.
How many times have we seen teams get to the championship game in great shape?
But the moment the atmosphere takes a little more out of you than you're used to?
Six point lead for Greenwood, Jonesboro needs a stop and go down and score some points.
Keep that pressure on.
We gotta pay attention to at worst 5 fouls in this half on Jonesboro, 4 on Greenwood, so not terribly far from the bonus good look at coach Jody Christenberry for Jonesboro.
Jovel coming out of that five a east.
I had a pretty good trip through the state tournament knocking off Sheridan 6833 meat Bologna by almost 20 points 52 to 33, and then knocked off Little Rock Christian 6144.
Yeah, that's a huge win there to takedown Christian team.
That's all obviously been competitive at at the state title level.
Who's got the final 424 in them?
But you mentioned vallonia?
That's one of the few teams to beat Greenwood.
Cartwright going to pick up her 4th personal foul.
Second on the offensive end.
Alright, Jonesboro got their stop.
Now they need some points.
Hardaway, John is going to drive Johnson drives a lot of contact.
No call.
No problems with the press.
Gonna pull it out.
Maybe work a little clock.
Ray Cartwright Cartwright in the corner.
They'll take that three wide open, 3 rattles out Johnson with her becomes Johnson, finds her teammate, Hooks, Hooks, dribbles it out.
Part away with the crossover.
She'll take the three.
Got it again.
The way she's starting to heat up 4345 from distance is the future North Texas player.
Here, the Jonesboro fans chanting defense, they need to stop and pay attention to asana.
Truss is gonna wrap on that left knee and Hobbit a little bit.
The last few possessions down the floor.
We've trustee to the basket pulls up no call baskets good.
I like the no call there.
Let him play it out.
Didn't affect the play she knocks down the mid range.
James Hardaway.
Sure, versus throw it in the corner.
Need a little help?
Jackson does find some help yours be.
Clouds starting to heat up just like Jonesboro is back within 3/3 point game, less than three to go.
Great finds a teammate summit summit all alone layup good.
Hey jump stop recognized the defenders coming flying at you.
Let her go by easy lay in and a big bucket to maybe damping this crowd.
Just a tough time out.
Jonesboro needed that time out I needed that time I think we all need that timeout.
We got 2 1/2 minutes to go in this 5/8 girls State championship game.
You're watching high school basketball and Centennial Bank State Centennial Banks.

Great fourth quarter here at Bank Ozk Arena Jonesboro.
Outscoring Greenwood 12 to 9.
It's a five point game, Jonesboro with the ball.
There's a look at Clay Reeves, head coach Greenwood, Lady Bulldogs, your Jonesboro.
I think you've got to find a way to attack Mattie Cartwright.
She's playing with four personal fouls.
Right now she's she's not been real effective offensively, but that length on defense, obviously causing some issues.
See if you can pick up her that 5th part away with it at the top of the key.
She'll take the three minutes down.
Southwest 5 three quarters.
Hardaway, with 22 on the night.
Heart right with it and Patrick Stone.
Here comes Hardaway.
Runaway attacking.
Travel.
Parents wanted a foul wanted the fouls.
She tried to step through the contact there and want a break for Greenwood 'cause that would have been #5 on Cartwright.
Two point game.
They get into Cartwright.
Hardaway got a hand on it, almost deflected it, not open Jackson all the way.
Good fundamentals there.
How many times you've seen a right-handed player go to left side and finish with the left and the big moment like that?
Jonesboro down four minute 40 to go hard, always been carrying them tonight she is taking over on this end of the floor.
She's five of six from the three point line.
She needs a little help got called.
She was yelling for somebody to move.
Help her out.
And that she was trying to talk to her teammates.
Greenwood reached in and tie her up a little too lackadaisical with the basketball heads up.
Play there by Matty Cartwright forces that I possession.
How do we go into work drives in floater?
No.
Good rebound by Johnson Johnson up with it.
That was a good call as she lowered his shoulder and Johnson initiated the contact.
What a gutsy move.
There by car.
Tried to take the hit draw the offensive foul.
Grab four time out from Greenwood.
They've got the ball.
Yeah, there's a great look at the replay there.
Johnson had it felt like she was kind of getting crowded, kind of getting bumped head Cartwright over so she cleared her out.
She cleared out the room and you're exactly right.
You can't, you can't use those arms to push those elbows to get somebody off of it.
And soon as you see it, just a slight dip with the shoulder.
Officials are going to call that every time forces the turnover now.
Greenwood four don't know that you try to bleed this all the way out Jonesboro in Greenwood, both in the bonus.
So how early do you want to start?
Bowling.
How early do you wanna go for the steal?
These are the decisions and the discussions that coach Christenberry and Jonesboro having during this time out.
We've seen Jonesboro go to a full court press.
I think the greenwoods kind of made some.
Maybe a couple changes with it and they're attacking it and they're getting baskets and easy baskets off of it, so now I don't know if Jonesboro wants to throw at full court press after Greenwood's done a nice job as sneaking somebody back over the top.
They did it a little earlier in the quarter.
They pulled it out.
They had a wide open layup and I believe it was Cartwright who did it then so they they figured something out with espresso, maybe Jonesboro Thrones.
A different wrinkle of pressure here in the full court.
Next is going to be deep for Greenwood.
Looks like it's man to man right now.
Now that part away was going to sneak over and tried to double the straight man to man full court pressure.
That's little green would turn over.
Here comes hard away with it.
Hornsby drives 15 footer partially blocked.
Hard way.
Trying to come up with the steel that's going to send greater the foul line.
Worse, things could happen for Jonesboro.
You're almost to that point of needing to foul.
They didn't like the foul pole, but you're exactly right.
Don't let Greenwood bleed any extra time off the clock.
Go ahead and put him at the strike.
Megan Gray with the free throw line rivals at home, two of eight from the field, but knock that one down with her first free throw attempt of the night.
That would look pure.
Lead up to six.
Hardaway put your head down drives in tries to kick it over to Thomas.
The link for that zone is got the passing lane trustee forced to turn over.
Now you got a foul for Jonesboro.
Trustee drives she is going to the free throw line.
These free throws are huge.
Just one of them was makes it a 3 possession game.
Trustees.
Money.
And a trustee, just a sophomore, haven't been to line much, but that's seven of eight.
Eight of nine now for Greenwood from the stripe.
She's 81% free throw shooter on the season and you win championships.
West make you make the easy ones.
You make the ones that give you.
Quick shot for Jonesboro, good just the two time out Jonesboro.
Johnson catches on the baseline.
It was catch and release needed some points quickly and she nails it.
It's going to be pretty easy discussion here.
If you're Jonesboro, you go for the steel on the inbounds.
You don't get it, you got to immediately file.
You can't wait for the 10 second call inside all the sensually inside 30 seconds.
32.2 It's not enough time to play to play it out.
18 fouls for Jonesboro so one more one and one for Greenwood.
Jonesboro has one timeout left.
Greenwood 3.
Greenwood just needs to make their free throws down the stretch and they can start.
Yeah, what's taking a preparation for title?
#6, they're exactly right.
Once they secure the inbounds, of course.
Well, Jonesboro has been able to put some pressure.
They haven't really denied the inbound much in this contest.
Maybe they they settle bring an extra defender up.
Of course, that's going to open up the deep ball.
You got to try to go for the steal.
It's newer die time now.
Trust me, with 20 points for Greenwood Summit has 15 trustee of sophomore leading the team in scoring.
She had 21 in the semis, so you think about the future and the last two games for Trustee 21 in the semis and 20 in the Champions.
She's been efficient 711 from the field 5 rebounds has played every minute of this contest.
That's a lot of pressure to put on a sophomore, but she is been there and risen to the challenge and big reason why Greenwood?
32 seconds away from the ground.
Edward runs a little curl action for trustee.
She catches it easily and foul quickly.
Just like you said, they would have to do just two seconds.
Get off the clock there, but another great design by Kelly Reeves and Co. To make sure one of your best free throw shooters gets the basketball.
The good spot takes the foul.
Now she's got a chance to maybe start to ice the game with the line.
Look like any nerves in that shot.
Couple dribbles knocks it down with confidence.
Flick of the wrist.
Shooters tend to get that friendly roll at friendly bounce.
Hardaway pull up jumper top.
The keys short bring woodsball.
Point lead now 23 seconds left.
Greenwood crowd can feel it.
Clay Reeves championship #9 in his coaching career trusted with it again, she'll get fouled.
She was.
That's why I liked about her.
She was she didn't want to pass it like I'll make my free throws.
You're going to have to foul me.
The second person.
Remove number 38 letter to sensually the entire way in.
What can you say about this groom?
Good program in their coach?
The 6th title mouth will be at Greenwood and then nine in his career.
That's that's amazing there.
There are very very few coaches who get the chance to win a championship.
And now he's about to put ring on the other pinky.
Lead up to 9.
Johnson with it.
She'll take along three.
It's short.
Alan the rebound.
That's gonna do it for Cartwright.
She kind of got caught by that airball.
It surprised her a little bit when it didn't hit RIM and.
Jackson got it excuse me, hooks got it.
I just ran into her.
Wasn't expecting to hear Baldwin.
It's marvelous.
Woman one for Jonesboro or not.
Both of these down there.
Just out of time.
Out of town it's not enough chances you'll think for Jonesboro to get back in it.
Well, at the time I think runoff spoke too quickly when found one more time.
#22 transfer rooster.
To get to the score column.
52 right now.
She does.
The score is going to be a lot more lopsided than the contest.
This one is really back and forth, but Greenwood able to build a 810 point lead and really keep it in that single digits.
That's going to do it.
Greenwood Greens, the first state championship for this finals weekend.
Well, Lady Bulldogs get title #6 and they celebrated midcourt.
They did what they had two West.
They battled size discrepancy outrebounded by only six.
That's gonna be a win for Greenwood.
They shot it just well enough.
Knocked down 83 pointers.
And what can you say about the sophomore the way that Anna trustee played and you got to believe we're going to be talking to her in just a few minutes as the game's MVP, 24 points and a big nine of 10 from the foul line.
We also had Abby Summit with 15 points.
A senior goes out with the state championship and another sophomore, Carly Sexton.
With ten points.
We'll be back with more celebration.

There's a look at the 5A Girls runner UPS Jonesboro Activa game from Jonesboro.
A lot of fight today from them and in the fourth quarter just came up a little bit short.
Take a look at the score box tonight in Greenwood.
Outscored Jonesboro in every quarter except for the second quarter, and that was just a 9 to 8 quarter, so just a solid performance for Greenwood Jonesboro.
Led by the North Texas signee Ariana Hardaway.
Hardaway was fantastic tonight 22 points.
But it's Greenwood we celebrating holding up the trophy right now.
They just made the big plays where they needed to us.
They need time.
Jonesboro seemed to put together a run, cut it to two, cut it to four.
It always came down and made a big shot when they needed to.
In the critical moments hit free throws in the end, but more, maybe West.
The biggest thing in this.
He didn't turn it over.
Very often you play entire game, 4 turnovers.
Jonesboro is used to getting extra possessions easy buckets in transition.
Greenwood gave Jonesboro nothing easy and that's why they've got a championship.
Yeah, Bobby.
I'm looking at the final stats and and and.
Actually, Jonesboro had a better 3 point shooting night than Greenwood.
Jonesboro was eight of 22.
Greenwood was eight of 26.
The two glaring differences in this game.
The free throw line where Greenwood went.
14 of 16 in Jonesboro, was seven of 13.
Matty Cartwright name the state title game MVP, maybe not, I guess.
I guess the state tournament MVP, that's it, and it's for the entire tournament.
But you know?
Sure, she didn't play well as far as shooting the basketball, but what she was able to do on the defensive end rebounding, handling the ball.
And that's a team leader.
And that's what you're supposed to do.
Even though you may not be playing well, shooting it.
Well, you find a way to win your team to a championship.
Greenwoods headed back.
To the River Valley with another state championship.
And here comes Mattie Cartwright will talk to her real quick and then we'll switch microphones and get coach Reeves over here.
Yep, you're on with us.
Maddie, congratulations.
How's it feel to win that state championship?
It's great, you know.
2020 we didn't get to play in the state game so we got announced his Co champs with Nettleton, which basically it's just really not the same exact thing, but it feels much better 'cause we actually get to hold the trophy like on the stage on the court basically.
So.
These Jonesboro girls knocked you out last year in the second round.
Was that on your mind?
It was that a little because you know, we played them against when we had like Jalen Harley.
All of our 2020 and we beat them then and we thought they had it way better team than but they were still really good this year.
But you know we just wanted to come out strong as we could just get the win and now tonight the Sharks were falling for you but you're able to.
They work for everybody.
Yeah, be able to get your your teammates involved.
State active defensively.
Kind of what did you see?
From the rest of your teammates, especially Anna Trust, who stepped up big today and I was just making all shoot.
She's great with floaters, everything, she just anytime, anything up.
It seems to go win so anytime she shoots it we take it's a good shot and Carla section really she pulled out for us this this year like she made some big shots and Abby stomach came out hot and made almost every single shot that she shot it today.
So it was just great seeing everyone else is doing their part to what does this say about the depth of your team that you had so many that are capable on any night?
Well, we have we have Adriana Russian chant compassion.
She was name will play most of the tournament and today was her first game back.
But you know she got to play as much but everyone else stepped up.
Carla came and took her spot.
So everyone did their job.
Congratulations, thank you.
Greenwood celebrates another championship that's Matty Cartwright.
The state tournament MVP.
We got coach Clay Reeves about to join us here in a few minutes, and.
He's got to be just ecstatic with the number of turns that you know.
Low number of turnovers.
That to me is the difference of the game when you look at the stats, very even stats.
And here's Coach Reeves joining us now going to get him in between us this time.
Which welcome to the post game show turnovers.
You look at turnovers.
That was a huge difference in the you guys didn't have a turnover until the fourth quarter.
The first play of the fourth quarter.
I mean, I've I've got great kids.
They do a great job.
They we've just gotten better all year game after game after game and last couple weeks in practice and in our games I could tell they were just.
It was just like the light switch came on.
They were just focused and ready and they're super smart.
Whatever I ask him to do.
I mean they adjust to it sometimes I forget what I told him to do.
And they'll Remember Me in the right spot.
And I said that's a pretty good place to be.
And they said, well, that's where you told me to be.
So I give our kids all the credit in a lot of times you you lean on Mattie to be your leader.
Shots weren't falling for her, but she did it on other ways, handling the basketball.
Of course, on top of the zone.
And of course, Anna trustee kind of took over this game in the second half.
He did, and it's it's been that way all year for us.
You know, most of the time Maddie and Anna lead us in scoring, but there's a handful of games that Megan, you know.
Abby Summit lead us in scoring.
Carla Sexton.
Lead us in scoring so that's the thing about our team that's so well balanced.
If you focus so much on one player, which they did lochmaddy upgrade, our other players stepped up and we've seen it so much.
It just kind of becomes.
It doesn't really bother him.
A lot of teams that really bothers, but our team settled down and just played through it.
Coach, when I mentioned to Mattie that Jonesboro knocked y'all out last year in the second her eyes kind of lit up.
I could tell that meant a little something for her to for what happened tonight.
It it did, our players were ready to play and I was thinking back in the last five or six years us in Jonesboro played so many times.
If I'm not mistaken, every time we play for the last five or six years they won, we won.
They won, we won.
So I was hoping that pattern stayed there and it did tonight state championship #6 for you at Greenwood Nine.
Overall, what can you say about the community in the program that you've built through the years?
They're greenwoods unbelievable.
The players work hard, the parents support them.
Get him to play in.
We've got so many kids playing travel, they're travel coaches.
Our junior high coaches, our administration community.
I mean the send off we have was great.
So many texts people buying meals for our kids texting me.
Is there anything that your team needs or wants from just you know 50 or 60 people so it's out Greenwood loves.
You know, academics, extracurricular everything, Greenwood and Greenwood Community, expects excellence, and and our kids and parents support that coach.
Congratulations, thank you for your time.
Thank you Sarah.
Congratulations play Reeves joining us.
Jonesboro fails to win the women's or the Girls 5A state championship.
Now the boys though will try to bring a title back to Jonesboro.
We'll take a break, we'll come back and get you set for the 5A Boys Championship game.
It's Jonesboro and Marion.
A couple teams.
Very familiar with each other.
