We got the Centennial Bank 2022, two, a state softball final between the Tuckerman Bulldogs and East Poinsett.
Warriors JB, Brazil alongside me.
Eric king.
In this one, Eric's got a really good one.
Both teams are obviously on a winning streak.
You making to the state final.
You've had to win quite a few games in a row.
It's going to be a fun match out.
It's exactly correct and you get Tuckerman here.
Who's on a 16 game winning streak right now?
And then you look at where they've been.
I mean, there are no stranger to this ball game, so they were here last year.
They won last year on a walk off single, so it'd be an exciting game.
But one thing you got to know is that this this bunch.
EPC is ready to play, they're eager to play.
We got some experience on this side from being in here EPC's not been here and so this is going to be a match up today.
Tucker me.
Like you said they want it last year and walk off fashion against Mansfield four to three.
They're trying to repeat when back to back state titles this afternoon.
East Poinsett County this is their first appearance in program history to the state final.
They're trying to make history and win a big one today against Tuckerman.
We're getting closer and closer to the first pitch.
And while we got a moment, let's take a look at the starting lineups in the batting order for East Poinsett County for the Warriors.
Leading it off will be Terrance Powell, Kelly Lucas, and Keegan Mccorkle.
That'll be the top third of the order for the Warriors 4-5 and six souls.
Natalie Dunman, JC Davis, Mercedes real.
Batting 7th at 8:00 tonight is Zoe Constant brentley Brewer and Cameron, Argo and Keegan Mccorkle will be on the mound for our part of me in the circle for them.
And what tell you 84 degrees?
It's nice you got a little bit of wind, a little bit of a breeze in the blowing.
Hey the stands, the stands are packed and you know you got one team that's eager to repeat and you got one team that's eager to bring that first championship to the house.
Justin Hudspith is the home plate umpire and this one gene Bowser will be calling it over on the first base side.
Gordon Campbell will be the third base umpire in this one, and in the circle for Tuckerman, and this one will be.
Mckaley guest she pitched last year in the state final.
She throws from the left side and she will face the top of the lineup for the Warriors and Terran Powell were just about set for the first pitch.
Gifts gets to sign and here we go.
The first pitch of the softball to a stop softball final is underway and misses inside for ball one.
Now you go back and you look at this team.
You've got Nicholson, who didn't get to play last year.
She's her shortstop and you know, she's one of that.
They were missing, but man, what a stick she has and also.
There's a possibility we see her on the in the circle as well as that balls tapped 4 to the right side.
That evens the count at one ball and one strike guest on the year.
She's 12 and two.
She's giving up 21 runs.
Only 14 of those runs have been earned, 38 hits, 27 walks, 88 strikeouts.
She's got a good ERA as well.
1.4 is that one popped up to the right side first baseman over to make the catch for Tuckerman that was wash them.
And the first out here in the two a state softball final is recorded and we were talking to PC's coach coach Powell before the ball game and he mentioned, you know, one thing you're gonna have to do.
A key is to is to put the ball in play and and to make his Tuckerman.
But play defense so you know that again they they put it in play, but we're gonna have to find some hits in that field.
As Kelly Lucas stands in to bat here.
First, pitch from Dist is a fastball that misses outside our partner hits the edge.
They're on the edge hudspith with a late call strike and its own one.
And I like that takes his time.
Make sure it makes the right call.
Interesting to see if this will get into a rhythm here, of course.
She is.
She is definitely a player not only in the circle that you that they had to contend with, but hey, this this squad one through 9 for Tuckerman can hit as well.
That would miss Ty one ball.
One strike, Kelly Lucas on the year she's got a home run, 15 RBI.
She's hitting 412 here the two hole for the warriors.
As we're just underway here in Benton, AR, one once chopped to the right side, second baseman there flipped it first so didn't to wash them, and two were gone.
And again, they're doing exactly what they wanted to.
They're making a play defense.
Again, that's what they want to do.
And and maybe some at some point in the ball game will we'll find some gaps for these hits to be falling in four, three on the recorded put out there two are gone, and Gist is an out away from working A123.
Top of the first inning is Keegan Mccorkle steps in and the first one up and ball one.
Now, Mccorkle is a good one, Eric.
She's had some really good numbers in the circle, but she's a good offensive player as well.
I mean, you got her, she's the she's leading the team with nine home runs this year.
And I mean right now she is batting 480, so again, she's she's not only the quarterback inside the circle, she's also one that helps his team offensively as well.
She got a big hack there, but came up empty and that evens the count at one ball and one strike.
Four Mccorkle, the junior.
Like you said, she's got nine home runs 40.
And a really good average.
The 11 slice foul right side out of play.
So guess is ahead in the count.
Now with ball 2 strikes.
And with the pitchers count got a lot of room to work with here.
Man looks like she knows she's only missed twice and this evening so far so she's kind of in a zone now if we can just find a spot for for kids to find an open base to get on, she's a she's quite the energy, said one two pitch taking long.
Even the count at 2 balls and two strikes, that's a great pitch.
There from gist.
You got room to work.
Make it look good, drops out of the zone, has a great take by Mccorkle and she was pretty active too.
You know, she's a she's two strike hitters, so she's trying to put the ball in play.
Sign 22 fell back and Mccorkle veteran hitter battling at the plate.
As we said earlier, she's really good inside the circle as well for this warrior softball team.
Being a junior again.
She she's.
Kind of what we would call the quarterback on this squad.
With the two, two count, guest delivers again that one jumping in Mccorkle had to dodge out of the way, and we run a full count.
For good or bad from a corporate.
It certainly is.
Again, we said she pitched last year the state finals and the game in which Tuckerman won it on a walk, off by sewed in the second baseman payoff.
Pitch popped up right side foul ball and it'll land.
Foul first baseman Washington gave chase, but just couldn't quite make the catch.
And you talked about Sodom where the walk off she actually came in in the 7th of that game and shut them down.
123 Mansfield so she she was the 7th.
She was the 7th inning he wrote for him for sure.
3 balls, two strikes again, this has been quite the count.
Guess trying to win the battle, but so is Mccorkle.
Pay off filed again right side and we'll do it again.
What about she's?
She's not turned on anything yet.
She's not got her hands, though.
I mean, she's actually putting the ball in play and everything's been to the right side.
So looks like they're keeping a little bit on the outside of the plate as well.
You're exactly right.
Michael gets just pitched outside.
Half hasn't had anything hit to the left side at which tapped at the plate.
Behind home catcher Smith we're transit, but it's a foul ball again, and we've got a little battle going on here and pitcher and pitcher and batter and also picture in picture so.
Well played, yeah.
3 balls, two strikes.
The infield playing back at normal depth all the way around.
That one slice foul again.
And boy.
You know you look at it both teams.
Obviously the nerves are there.
It's early tuckerman's been here before.
We talked about that.
This is the first ever appearance by East Poinsett County in program history.
Obviously, they have nerves as well, but here early both teams giving anything they got.
Again, you know they're battling at the plate.
She knows she's trying to help her calls right here.
Another payoff.
Fouled off right side again.
Deja vu.
Is she's definitely battling, you know, you talk about talk about EEPC here a little bit.
They're 32 and two in the season with their only lost to Valley View.
Who is here this weekend and then director and conference?
Another payoff chopped left side, this time short stop Nicholson throw the first on time on the money 123 goes EPC in the top half of the first we're scrolling, spotting first coming up we'll be right back.

Welcome back to Ben Arkansas.
Bottom of the first as the east Poinsett County went 123 against the left hander Mckaley guest and now Tuckerman seeking back to back state titles.
We'll get a chance to try to knock something on the board.
Well, they definitely are about, but again, you know, like a EEPC coach mentioned, they need to put the ball in play and that's exactly what they did.
No strikeouts there for gifting that any would be interesting to see Junior Keegan Mccorkle.
In the circle for EPC and it's just gonna be.
It's gonna be a barn burner and and don't be surprised if this doesn't come down to the last inning again.
Mccorkle pitched in all 34 games that the Warriors have played in.
She's 32 and two.
She's giving up 89 hits, 33 runs.
14 of those earned 38 walks but get this 323 strikeouts in the first pitch is bunded found on the left side by Shane Lee Williams, the center fielder for the Bulldogs and Williams is a senior here for Tuckerman so.
And she's batting 489.
So we know that she knows all about first base, and so it'll be exciting to see this Tuckerman team because Coach Dillon said that one through 9.
They've been very impressive offensively.
Up and away one ball and one strike.
As the left handed hitting Williams trying to get things started.
Offensively for the bull.
Bulldogs pardon me one one so I'm gonna miss that might have been foul tipped came up empty one ball, 2 strikes and mccorkle what you wanna do?
Get ahead early in the count she's done that here thus far the 1st batter 1 ball 2 strikes and she works quickly.
The 1/2 called strike three Mccorkle starts off her afternoon in the circle with a strikeout and the backwards, OK, at that have two things that does that gives Mccorkle a little bit of juice to to work off of right there, and it it pumps him up, and it pumps that defense up too, as well.
Here's last year's hero, Mackenzie Soldan.
She walked it off in a four three win a year ago against Mansfield.
She takes the first pitch down and away one ball and no strikes.
Now Tucker's first batter strikes out looking, that's Williams.
10 count from Mccorkle down away.
20 So now you gotta hitters count if you're Soden look at us.
Start things off.
Soden on the year she's hitting 410.
She's got a home run 38 RBI's.
Two open pitch popped up foul left side over the third base dugout and out of play.
Two in one the count.
So it will be in the second baseman and and and again you talk about a timely hits.
This is no pressure for her because last year she gets up at 10 to ball.
The two one misses up and in three one so.
After Mccorkle struck out the first batter, looking falling behind, sodden 3 balls and one strike, so a hitters count once more, so don't wait.
Fourth straight back.
So now we'll have a full count.
Mccorkell grounded out six three to end the top of the first inning on a payoff pitch.
She saw a lot of pitches.
She'll have a payoff to Sultan.
Did she get the outer edge?
No pound side ball 4 and we have our first base front, by the way, blue kinda went to the left there I thought he was fixing it.
Ring her up but again the first base runner be exciting when you look at this lineup for Tuckerman JB they are some serious sticks and they hit the ball.
Put the ball in play and like Coach said before the ball game one through 9 has been very active at the plate this year.
Speaking of one through nine, we look at the lineup, the starting nine for Tuckerman, Shanley, Williams, Mackenzie Soldan, Gracie Smith, the top third of the order Hannah Nicholson, Michaelee guest Reagan, Washam Middle third.
Audrey Altam, Lizzie Walker and Ainsley Dawson.
The bottom third of the order.
It's 3 hole hitter Gracie Smith though ahead in the count one and oh.
One one pitch.
Called strike to even things up one and one and Soden is over at first base.
The inning began with a backwards K to Shanley Williams sodden with a lock on a pay off pitch and it's one in one now to the three hole hitter is that one misses downstairs.
2 balls, one strike it's miss 107.
For Tuckerman that batting in four and the 400 area.
So again these guys are pretty active offensively.
21 yank down the left field line, carrying well, but foul as it 1 hops the wall in the corner there to even the count at 2 balls and two strikes, they'd be.
She got her hands through on that one.
Then she rolled them over and bought.
Tell you what she wouldn't too far away from the movements of a base runner around.
2 balls, two strikes Mccorkell would love a double play ball, but they're playing at normal depth.
Infield 2 two that one jank to left.
That's gonna be fair.
It's over the left fielders head and it caroms off the wall rounding.
Second thing for 3rd Soltan she's in.
Smiths got a double and Tuckerman got 2 runners in scoring position here early and tell you what that was a that was a good job.
I left him filter Cameron Argo to get the ball in because usually in the softball situation like that one rose the fence you're gonna get a runner in so.
Great job by them to get the ball in and she was just kind of dead red setting on that ball and we we saw from the one that she took foul right before that.
She she.
I think she knew that was coming through.
The Bulldogs #21.
For Smith over at second base, the infield meets with Mccorkle at the Circle.
They're done now, obviously, but Mccorkell here got herself in a little bit of the jam with.
With one out, she struck out Williams to begin the bottom of the first, but a walk, and then that doubled right there by Smith.
There's two runners are bored for the cleanup hitter.
The first pitch popped over the second baseman's head.
That's gonna allow a run to score in from 30s.
So did and we have our first run.
Here are the two a state title game, one to nothing tuckermans out.
Yeah, you get a lock that shortstop Nicholson.
She puts the ball in play there.
Just kind of a Little Texas league girl over the second baseman's head and she was the one that had the torn ACL and didn't get to play last year.
But she is already been awarded Allstate this year.
Though I know Coach is glad to have her back as Michaelee guest steps into the batters box.
She's got an opportunity.
To help herself out here in the circle, she's the starting pitcher for the Bulldogs who are up here early one to nothing.
Is that one way dead and missed?
Even the count at a ball and a strike?
Again, this is picture picture, so we'll we'll see if if guests hangs in here, like Mccorkle did it back.
A Corporal ready 11.
Hitters count again, and that's kind of been the problem here.
After the first strikeout.
Kirkel fallen behind some hitters and.
It's turned into Iran for the Bulldogs to whine upstairs, missing high.
Now it's 3 balls one strike.
Well, if you're Mccorkell, you're gonna have to be careful.
To guest who has three home runs on the year 32 RBI's the three one misses outside and now the bases are full of Bulldogs and she was very careful she wasn't gonna give up a a big pitch there but again this team is so impressive you've got to watch them.
It's coming in right now and hey she she's batting 438 so where does it end?
JB as Faith McCullough will come in to run over at first base for guest.
Like you said, it wasn't coming back really good hitter.
438 a home run 21 RBI's and right now here with one out.
If you're EPC you really need to double play ball.
First pitch is a called strike.
Going one so good way to get ahead there.
If you're maccorkle no balls, one strike.
If you're playing in a little bit here, maybe to get the runner from 30 at home.
The one misses down in the end, the one ball one strike like McCormick will keep this in on her hands and hopefully get a ground ball.
ABC would love a devil play ball of any kind.
11 waved at and missed good pitch there.
From Mccorkle to get ahead of all two strikes.
You know, here's the deal.
EPC only averaged giving up one run per contest this whole year.
Try to keep it that way.
1/2 from mccorkle's high.
Now it's two and two.
You know, I like the two pitches that she showed that she got the strike zone.
She kept them inside on her hands, not giving her anything that looks big on the outside of the plate chopper to 3rd.
Going home with it Davis.
They got the out that was a big out right there for the warriors Davis to Brewer 5/2 on the retire of Washam and Mccorkle is one out away from getting out of this after she gave up a run here early in this inning.
Great job by Jessie Davis.
There the third baseman of keeping the ball in front of her.
In the hand on it and making a good throw to the catcher to get that second out, which like you said, very important out for him.
At that time one ball and no strikes.
Altum weights popped up foul.
Right side evens the count.
At one ball and one strike.
Lizzie Walker waits on deck.
She's the designated player as we look at Alton's numbers.
She does not have a home run on the year, but she's got 22 RBI's two double s. Is that one popped up foul?
Now which one and two?
LED 364 so On Base percentage at 4:24 so.
This bulldog team is loaded with some offense.
1-2 fastball a little bit high and even to the count at two and two.
Everybody's going to be running.
You know that defense just wants to keep the ball in front of them and not let anything behind them.
The two two is low, so now the counts run full and there is no place to put Andrelton.
If you're mccorkle.
Gotta make a quality pitch the runners.
We'll be ready to roll here.
The payoff pitch popped up foul back to the right side, out of play, and we will do it again.
It seems like we've seen quite a few 32 pitches today and a lot of foul balls as well.
Wait, I'll tell you what one thing about Mccorkle.
She's keeping everything inside on the hand, so maybe that pays off for it right here.
The payoff pitch once more to Alta popped up, right field right fielder Gunman going down the line.
Is it fair?
It's foul.
It was close, it held up there for a little while and I thought that might hit the line, but a good job and you know, Mccorkle wishes she could have gotten out of that one boy.
That was a few feet from being a big extra base hit down the line.
But from Mccorkle got a big foul three, two that one popped up centerfield.
Real going back in the gap coming in makes the catch a huge catch for the warriors when they needed it.
And Mccorkle is out of the inning with limited.
Damage only giving up a run on two base hits.
We headed the top of the second tuckermans up 1 nothing on EPC we'll be right back you're watching the Centennial Bank state baseball and Softball championships on Arkansas PBS Sports.

We're loving it.
As we head to the top of the second inning.
Michaela gets out for her second inning of work.
With her Bulldogs up one to nothing, she worked a 123 inning in the top of the first inning and she will face the 4-5 and 600 gunman chopper to the shortstop Nicholson up with it on and throw to first one pitch one out and guest is cruising along first four batters that she is faced.
She has retired and the leadoff batter's gone in the time of the second.
Well, you know we talked a little bit about the keys to the game and we talked to that with Coach Powell before this and he did talk about it.
Like I said earlier about putting the ball in play, making them play a little defense and right now they're doing it.
They're just not anything fall.
Full form.
As JC Davis stands in to Matt from the right side against gifts in the first one.
Is a called strike on the outer half Owen one with a fastball there from guest?
You know, holding that team to only one run as good offensively as Tuckerman is that has to be a plus for EPC as they got in the dugout.
01 same pitch, same result, and now Davis is down in the count, no balls and two strikes.
You know a talk, we we we we heard from, you know, EPC's head coach a little bit earlier today he talked about defensive pitching is what's kept them in those tight games.
We saw some big defense there in the bottom of the first.
They're looking to try to get some offense going.
They're down early one to nothing.
And he looked at this offense and and they're not real bad.
I mean, you look at Dunham, she's she's right now, batting 456.
Mccorkle again.
Like we talked about batting 480.
So we have several 392 and 397.
So a great squad on the offensive side.
They just need to let something make something happen.
Sorry is that what's popped up right side foul, ground first baseman washrooms there and she makes the catch for the second out here in the top of the second inning tour gone.
It'll be all up to Mercedes.
FPC can score here in the top of the second Mercedes saved him while ago with that Nice catch out in center field.
Keeping those runners at Bay and that was not an easy catch either.
Tailing away from her towards the right center field gap she came on, made a great catch is that ones waved at and missed and it's no balls and a strike and I'll tell you guest has done a good job.
She got dunman to ground out to begin this sitting on one pitch.
She got Davis to pop up on a no ball two strike count.
And she gets ahead of real here.
No balls and one strike.
The Lefty guest delivers again fastball down the metal around the knees and real is it the whole no balls?
Two strikes, guesses?
She's dialed in right now and you know, with real batting 392 with with two homers through it through the year, it would be a great time for number 3 to happen.
Guess trying to get out of the inning or two.
Tapped file at the plate.
And so real.
Will live to see another pitch.
I tell you that was a rising fastball.
Tough to get a piece of it really a really good job, no pun intended.
It would have battle and stay alive.
Did an excellent job with just putting that play, you know.
And again, we've talked about this earlier.
There's been a lot of foul balls.
These girls are up there battling at the plate and both pictures are just dialed in and throwing strikes right now.
Guest is ready again O2.
That's called strike three up around the letters.
Wow, great pitch there to end the inning against.
Once again another 123 inning we played an inning and a half here in Benton.
The Bulldogs lead at one and nothing you're watching, this Centennial Bank state baseball softball championships on Arkansas.

As we head here to the bottom of the second inning, Keegan Mccorkle out for second inning of work after she gave up a run and ending ago.
She really escapes some trouble.
She starts off here with the 8-9 and one hitters, Lizzie Walker, Ansley Dawson, and then we would head back to the top of the order in Chanley.
Williams is the 10.
This is a little bit now it's two and a.
Two and 02 Walker, the designated player, and that one's way better.
Miss good pitch there.
From Mccorkle and it's two in one steelheaders count, though you look here at Walker, she's hitting 302 on the year.
Eric, no home runs but 12 our behinds both of these teams have a lot of offense.
You like it right now.
Both pictures are again, they're they're in the zone these batters on.
Both sides are swinging the bat so.
We gotta hopefully a pitchers duel early is the two two misses up and away a good take?
Pardon me, the count is full now.
The thing about these bulldog hitters, they know how to work the count payoff pitch.
Look towards left center field.
That could be trouble.
Left fielders over can't make the catch.
It's off for Globe Walker heads to 2nd and she's in the with the stand up double.
I'll tell you what you gotta love to get the leadoff batter only if you're Tuckerman and she found that gap out there.
Got a glove on it but just couldn't bring it in.
That wind is carrying everything right now.
It's blowing to the right side.
To the left side, so from right field to left field corner.
As the leadoff double for the Bulldogs, they got a runner in scoring position.
And back to back.
Jennings is that when misses up and in one ball and no strikes 2 Dawson.
Dawson on the year.
She's getting 426 in the 9 hole today.
Goodness gracious, you don't see me any 9 Volt batteries bad in 426 right now and like I like.
Coach said one through 9 right now are just outstanding at the plate.
Is that one hit to the right side?
Second baseman can't get there.
That's Lucas.
It's in the right field.
The ball was hit sharply though, and real the center fielder got to it quickly, so that holds up.
Walker over at third base, but there's runners at the corners for the Bulldogs.
They're already up one and out thing, and they're trying to add it to it.
Eric, where they are and they're back at the top of the top of the lineup for Taco Tuckerman in the Senior Center.
Fielder Williams is up to bat for the second time tonight, so be interesting to see if they found their zone and you know one time.
Ground so you know they say about that second time around to see if this Tuckerman squad is has got mccool's number.
How many number one?
Well we like.
You said we head back to the top of the order.
Now in Chandler Williams the center fielder she struck out looking her first time up but look into.
Have a good approach here in this one, first pitch squaring to bunt and takes a strike on the outer half.
That's a great pitch from Mccorkle.
You mentioned a little bit earlier.
She is not afraid to attack the zone with runners aboard, or really any count.
She's done a really good job.
He's gonna go with the batter for sure.
That would miss his upstairs one ball and one strike Walker led off this bottom with a second with a double to left field just past the left fielder, Argo and then a single by Dawson as that ones lined.
Or pardon me grounded foul, left side.
Past the third base bag and now it's a one ball, two strike count.
No more Coke was getting recruited by Northwestern out of Mississippi, and that's where her O teammate Megan Allen is right now that played for East EPC.
So it would be interesting to see her battle through the rest of this ball game.
1/2 popped up foul left side, out of play and Speaking of Megan Allen, she holds the state record for most strikeouts in a single season.
It's kind of hard to believe this is their first trip here with with a picture of that caliber.
In 2020 1/2 pitch fastball high evens the count two and two.
And Tuckerman has worked the count a lot.
Mccorkle's not been afraid to attack the zone, but throwing a lot of pitches 22.
That was low and another full count.
No stranger to pitching in some tough situations because she's pitched.
She's went the distance for him this year.
Chopper left side shortstop Powell is able to get there, but she doesn't have a play anywhere.
That's an infield single for Williams in Tuckerman adds to the one to nothing.
Lynn with a run there.
And it's two to nothing.
Great job by Paul and getting over there and getting the ball before it got into the into the into the grass.
As you would say, but she just didn't have a chance to turn around and get it out.
And now here's Mackenzie Soldan Soden a year ago, walked it off against Mansfield in the bottom of the seventh with a 33 score.
The one O pitch lined down the left field foul even as the count at one and one sodden worked to walk her first time up on a 3 two count.
By the way, Tuckerman has worked 4 full counts today against Mccorkell.
With the one one pitch to sodden, swinging a drive left center field Argos.
Over though calls off the center fielder real and makes the catch for the first out of the bottom of the second inning.
Great job by our goal of calling reel off and getting the catching.
Getting it in pretty quick to keep that runner there on second base for talking about.
So it brings in the three hole hitter, now, Gracie Smith, she doubled back in the first inning and takes that one low for a ball one to know to Gracie Smith that the catcher she set up.
Allowing Nicholson to drive it around and indigo as that one's fouled off her foot got a big hack there.
But it's offered like foul and that evens the count at one and one.
You know, Coach Pyle like to get out of this with just one run as well as he did the the first inning.
Mccorkle with a one one that was a great off speed, but it really great take there from Soden, or pardon me from Smith and great job by Smith is just standing there and.
21 chopped left side foul outside the third base bag and now the count is even at 2 balls and two strikes.
We went out.
Do you know they want to get an out somewhere at some place and right now ground ball just step on the back.
2 two pitch that was ripped foul past third boy.
She loaded early there, did Smith and ripped it, found past third and don't be surprised if we don't need to see another off speed after that one.
Well mccorkle's a good pitcher.
She has now 324 strikeouts on the year.
She needed eight coming into this to move into fifth all time in state.
Record history.
As a junior.
That's right, so she'll be here next year.
22 You you call it off speed pitch, but boy outside a little bit Smith with a great tag and the fifth full count that we've seen.
To attack German batter, what you've talked about patient.
Now these guys they.
That would shop third base side.
Nice play by Davis she beats through hundred to third base.
That's a big out as well.
Two were gone now that was close.
I think the third baseman thought she had more time and she did, but the one standing on second had some wheels there for Tuckerman.
5 on assisted on the out there two are gone and it brings in the cleanup hitter.
Nicholson who drove in.
The first run of this game is we looked at that replay boy that was really close.
It was.
I mean it was a.
A nail biter getting back to the bag.
So Nicholson the cleanup hitter stands in with the runners at first and second base against Mccorkle.
Is that what Mrs. Upstairs one ball 2 strikes?
Nicholson singled in the games.
First drawn back in the bottom of the first.
Here in her second at bat here in the bottom of the second.
Mccorkle, 10 chopped to short.
This could end the inning bobble by the shortstop.
Gonna have to hurry?
Do they get her know at first?
And just like that tuckermans got the bases loaded with two gone.
We'll see how they score it.
Probably gonna be an error on the shortstop.
Well, it's good, it's just Tuckerman.
Team is offensively.
You know coaches would love to have those easy ones back.
And he talked about that.
They gotta make the easy outs and that's when they'd like to have back Shannon Mccallie guessed the pitcher with the bases loaded.
Stands in and takes the first pitch for a called strike gist.
Walked her first time up with a 31 count with the bases loaded here.
There's no place to put her.
Some Mccorkle can have to be careful, 01 misses down and away evens the count at one and one good job at letting that get behind her.
The left handed hitter guest waits.
Mccorkle gets a sign, one one that ones driven down the left field line left fielder Argo coming over and in foul ground, makes the catch and ends the inning.
Mccorkle only gives up another run on three base hits.
We've played two full here in Benton.
We're at the top of the third.

These are great championship keepsakes.
As we welcome you back here, top of the third here in Benton, AR tuckermans up two to nothing over EPC, and Michaela Gish is absolutely delivering right now.
She's retired all six batters that she's faced and she will face the 789 hitters with constant Brinley Brewer and Cameron.
Argo is that once chopped up in the middle of the shortstop Nicholson High throw first baseman Washington keeps her foot on the bag and the leadoff batter is retired to once again.
You're in the top of the third inning.
You know gets just got one strike out in the game.
So far, so again, they're putting the ball in play.
They're just not.
They're not found a gap yet.
So Brentley Brewer will step in to bat.
Now Brewer on the year hitting 280.
No home runs 17 RBI's.
Weights and batch for the right side of the first pitch is taken.
4 called Strike one one.
I'll tell you, I guess it's just she's looked really good.
She's played really well.
01 pitch Brewer is another strike out or half owing.
2 and now brewer's.
Gonna have to protect the plate.
She's 12 and two.
This year again, she's had 88 strikeouts.
So very impressive season for gift.
The O2 pitch.
Trying to protect swinging.
A miss guess gets a second strike out of the day.
Brewer waves and misses and two are gone and the top of the third inning.
She is absolutely dealing right now.
Would this number 90 for the year 4 and she is she's no stranger to that plate up there.
As the 9 hole hitter, Cameron, Argo stands in to bat now.
From the right side against guist.
First pitch squaring as if demand pulls it back and takes it up and away.
With the stuff that we hadn't seen, the short game not really came into play in softball and usually.
I come out of the shoot with a slap or a bite.
The third baseman.
Dawson and wash them.
The first baseman playing in.
They're trying to guard the ****.
The one oh pitch two Argo.
Tried to burn it that one.
Missed it, now the counts even at one and one the Outfields playing.
Swing around a little bit to the right center fielder Williamson.
Playing closer to right center a little bit.
But if you're just looking to get on base the 11.
It takes strike two as she pulled the bat back.
Now she's in the hole, one ball and two strikes.
You which year banning term to get that ball down?
I don't know if.
Guess my thorn rise ball right here 1/2.
Little bit outside evens the count at two and two.
That's just a second count today that EPC has worked to at least 2 balls.
Everything else has been less than.
Less than two balls.
22 Swinging a miss guest with a big strikeout and she's retired all nine batters that she has faced.
123 Go EPC in the top of the third inning.
We head to the bottom of the third 2 nothing Tuckerman leads it trying to add to it you're watching the Centennial Bank state baseball and Softball championships on Arkansas PBS Sports.

She's a pitcher, senior, a 3.7 GPA and she will be attending Crowley's Ridge College.
On a sample of scholarship as we head here to the bottom of the third inning.
It's one ball, one strength to count.
To the six hole hitter washam, the first baseman for the Bulldogs is that one sales, high 2 balls and one strike.
It'll be the six seven and eight hitters for the Bulldogs.
Wash them altum and Walker Dawson batts.
If anybody reaches hitters, count two one pitch swinging, a miss that was a big rip there from Washington, but she came up empty and that evens the count at two and two.
Mccorkle delivers that ones ripped right back through the box.
And a leadoff single for the Bulldogs washing.
Hit that right back where it came from.
She she was standing on that one and she nailed that pitch.
As it brings in Altum debat altum.
Flew out to center fielder first time up and that was with.
Runners aboard to end that.
Big threat is that was a called strike one one.
Tuckermans up two to nothing.
On a 16 game winning streak, trying to make it 17 to end the season and claim back to back state titles EPC'S on 11 game winning streak.
This is their first finals appearance in program history.
They got some work to do to to do though.
Pardon me is they're trailing 2 to nothing in the bottom of the third inning with a 2 ball one strike count to Andre Altum the right fielder for the Bulldogs or trying to get her to chase one there.
To one chopped back up the middle shortstop can't quite make the plants pal.
It's in the center field.
We'll see how they scored, probably a base hit.
Indeed it is back to back singles for the Bulldogs and for the third straight inning.
They've got runners in scoring position again.
That's exactly correct and if you go back and you look, I guarantee you that the leadoff hitter for EPC pal, the shortstop there would love to have that one because it looks like all she had to do is grab the pitch and step on the plate step on the bag.
First pitch here, found straight back up into the screen there from Walker, Lizzie Walker the designated player.
Walk around, you're hitting 302 with no home runs and twelve RBI's.
Get 10 singles and three double s. A single here would add, most likely a run is that one's fouled back here over the screen and it's Owen too.
What she seems to get into her zone when she gets people on base, because as we saw in the last two innings, I mean they've had bases loaded.
Now they got two on and she just turns into a different picture.
Try to strike out the batter here.
That one popped up foul over the third base.
Pardon me on the third base dugout.
But to your point, you're exactly right.
She has really come on strong when there's she's been in some jams or with runners aboard.
Trying to strike out here, the O2 down on the way a good take there from Walker.
But she'll still have to protect batting from the left side.
1/2 line up the middle, and the center.
Will they wave home the runner?
They'll hold her at third watch them stays put there back to back to back singles.
And boy the Bulldogs have something brewing again and again.
You know here in the bottom of the third they got bases loaded, so it'll be.
It'll be interesting to see what they do here with no outs.
Or if you remember Dawson the Nino litter, she's got a really good averaging 426.
No hormones 14 RBI's but she loved to make it 15.
Here she takes a strike on the outer half.
Great patriot there by Mccorkell getting on the outside you know she'd love to have another ground ball while ago.
The third baseman helped her out with one towards you.
Home plate and got the second out there at the plate so maybe we can repeat that.
No balls and two strikes.
The bases are loaded.
Mind you, with nobody out and in tuckerman's up two to nothing with eight base hits The O2 misses low and now it's one ball and two strikes.
Anything in the infield here?
Right here.
JB is what they want.
They definitely keep the ball in front of them.
One two pitch is an off speed, just a little bit low, and I'm going to tell you we've mentioned this tuckermans got really good approach at the plate.
They've taken some really tough pitches that shows a lot of discipline.
Mccorkle with the two two that ones ripped through the 6th hole into left field.
It'll just be one run coming into scores.
That's Washum who touches the play.
Tuckermans up three to nothing.
We talked for four straight singles.
We talked about it early.
This mentally pretty stout from the plate went through nine we so we set it all game and right now they're all clicking on the same cylinders.
As Shane Lee Williams stands in the back, takes the first pitch down in the way.
One bonus tracks.
Williams hitting 49 on the year.
That was before her single and her last at bat.
She also drove in her on her last at BAT has won RBI today, got a 20 count and Mccorkle with the bases loaded, has no place to put Williams.
And be interesting talking to Coach Powell before the game, of course was the only one that they've had throw this year so.
That was driven on the ground past the shortstop.
That one gets under the glove of real.
That's gonna allow another run to score 2.
Come in for the Bulldogs, Alton and Walker and it is 5 and Ethan Tuckerman.
And it's a it's offensive.
Tuckerman is he's definitely showed up today.
And as we can tell, Pal Coach pals headed out to the.
To the circle to visit with Mccorkle.
So only one RBI given there to Williams after the error by the center fielder allowed that second runner to come in to score.
You know, we've talked a lot about this Tuckerman offense, but that defense out there with guessing the circle.
It's a.
Not saying it can't be done, but it's a hard deficit.
Come back friend when I've done nothing against a picture like this all that 5.
Nothing lead feels like 15 to nothing and you know you look at it the way that tuckerman's been playing Mccorkle.
Just kind of flirted with trouble a little bit Tuckerman has just hit the ball well and more cool really hadn't walked a lot of batters.
She's thrown off the plane, but Tucker has done a really good job of putting that on the ball as it comes in.
McKenzie showed news one for one today with a walk in a single.
It takes the first pitch down and away one ball, no strikes.
Soden hitting in the two hole plant.
Second base for Tuckerman.
That's from the left side, has one home run on the ear.
38 RBI drills.
That one is center but a great catch there.
In center field, Bobby Mercedes, real diving in that was quite impressive.
That was very impressive and again she caught one in the first inning that the wind was kind of pushing a little bit, so two great catches to save a run for Mercedes real today.
It was smoked off the bat of so that is a very difficult catch and reel made it look easy as the first pitch to the three hole hitter.
Gracie Smith is in for a called strike.
Gets it for out one and keeps the gets the ball in quick to keep those runners at Bay.
One in one the count now Smiths won for two.
Today she's doubled.
She's also grounded out to 3rd on or pardon me for third base on assisted 11.
Count with one out.
Mccorkle delivers that one hit a Mile High in the left field.
Foul ground, short stop coming over.
And a great catch there by the short shop.
She did catch it.
We don't have a great vantage point past the third base dugout.
But wow, look at Paul covering a lot of ground right there.
That's two really good defensive plays here by this warrior.
Defense absolutely has a great job pal there, again, you know he still got runners at first and second with two outs.
We always say this could be worse than what it really is, and right now McCord was glad that you got that defense behind her.
As Hannah Nicholson stands into about now the cleanup hitter playing short today.
She's made quite a few putouts over to shortstops.
Position three of them to be exact.
She's one for two with a single and also reached on an error.
The 10 way that it missed even the count per single back in the first inning was an RBI single and it put Tuckerman on the board when you got to love it too because she's the one that was out with a torn ACL last year and you know she's excited to be able to play in this game this year as that one misses down and away two in one and we talk about her skills.
It's it's short.
She's also pitched 61 innings for Tuckerman.
She's got a record of 10 in one, so she's a pretty impressive.
Circle as well.
Hitters count 21.
She's jumping in is.
Time is called by the home plate umpire.
Well, they're gonna call him foul ball.
Pardon me.
Came in and hit her on the handle.
And that evens the count at two and two that once chopped left side, shortstop power.
Gonna have to hurry throw to 3rd in time and a PC gets out of the inning.
But now before Tuckerman adds three more, they're up five to nothing as we head to the top of the fourth inning.

I mean it's gorgeous.
I mean you get, you know baseball's right behind us.
You just kind of walk down the breezeway and then you know soccer's gonna kick up and they're just kind of right here to our left but everything kind of huddled in one area which is a it's a great facility.
It certainly is, it is made.
For a great state championship atmosphere is the first pitch to the top of the lineup.
Taryn Powell.
Mrs Inside 4 ball one.
It'll be the top of the order for the Warriors.
Tarrant, Powell, Kelly Lucas and Keegan Mccorkle the cleanup hitter Natalie Dunman bats.
If anybody can reach as.
Geist has retired all nine batters that she's faced and she's got a 11 count to Tarrant power right now.
You know with the.
Second time around here, you coach Pat.
Would love to see these players get a hit or two to get a a runner on base and position for each PEPC third basement charging a great throw but not in time.
How about the hustle from Tarrant Powell and that gives the Warriors their first base hit of the game as they trail?
Finding nothing?
That's a great start.
Well I tell you what an outstanding start there and again she's done a great job for him there at shortstop and she comes out on the offensive.
That puts it down and, and it's got EPC's first base runner of the of the evening.
Dorset charging in with a great throw did all she could, but the leadoff single for PAL and the Warriors needed it two on her budget to the right side.
Pitcher gift bobbles it can't make the play and that will allow back to Back Bay shredders to reach and EPC that only has their first base runner and burst hit of the game but they've got their first base runner in scoring position as well.
He had no outs on the board.
EPC's put down to bunts.
He's really gonna kind of be interesting to see how they.
Play this the first two batters bunt, bunt and then Mccorkle who we know this is the big stick.
It's coming up right here for EPC to hopefully put one of these runners in so back to back.
Singles is mccorkle.
Got a chance to help herself out.
First pitch strike, on the other hand falling one.
Boy, this is an exciting game, Tuckerman really.
It's kind of been all Bulldogs here early, but a little bit of noise being made here by PC.
You know they gotta love to have these base base runners with no outs.
Mccorkell waits all one swung on, driven to right field right fielder Altons there makes the catch.
The runner at second tags moves to 3rd.
The throw is late and on the throw to third base moving up into second base is Kelly Lucas so tarran pals at Third Powells at third now and Kelly Lucas at second.
T Woodruff made a great catch out there.
That's what arm she was just a step away from having her third base.
That ball just jumped off the astroturf there and.
Made it close, but now.
After that big fly ball, it was a pretty productive out there.
From mccorkle.
As Natalie Dunman stands in first pitch.
Down and away.
Duncan has five home runs for this year, so right now with runners in scoring position, you really know this is who coach Powell wants up with a with a shot with Mccorkle had and then he got the.
We have done and now at the plate one O chopped up the middle short stop nickelson throws to 1st and retires dunman, but a run comes in to score.
That's the first run for EPC.
The RBI there from Dunman and that cuts the deficit to four.
Now for the five hole hitter JC Davis, great job by Nicholson.
There just keeping the ball in front of her, making a good throw.
That's one thing about when you put the ball in play.
You've got to catch it.
You've got to make a good throw where you're throwing it.
They have to catch it as well.
So a great job of that.
Tucker and defense only allow one run.
That was the 50th RBI of the year for Natalie Dunn.
She leads their team.
As we're in the top of the fourth inning, one run, two base hits.
Thus far in the inning, it's the first run at first two hits of the game for the Warriors as the Kaylee guest began this game, returning all nine batters that she's faced.
But the second time through the order, as you alluded to earlier, ABC was able to make some noise.
Is the **** there misses?
And it's only two now to Davis.
The baby she was looking to put another one down.
Now there would have been impressive 3 batters they've had on base, laid down buttons and that would have been pretty exciting for this EPC squad, but Dave's going to try to protect the plate now.
Guest peers in and delivers up and in with a fastball, one ball and two strikes.
Tuckermans got five runs this afternoon on ten base hits.
They have no errors, one run, two hits for EPCC and two errors.
Couple of those have been costly.
Those two errors.
Probably contribute two runs to those.
The one two pitch Davis pops it up right side.
That could be trouble.
Second baseman over in foul ground and a nice catch there by Soden to retire the side.
But he PC they're on the board.
Well, they're on the board and that's correct, and that's a good a good thing going into this bottom of the fourth five one, we head to the bottom of the fourth.

The Battle of the 4th and McKinley gets sweated off.
4 The Bulldogs, she's pitched well and her teams helped her out a little bit as well.
With a 5-1 lead.
Guests trying to get things started with an 01 count fouls it back going 2.
So Mccorkle gets ahead in the count with an 02 pitch, and.
List will try to battle as the five six and seven hitters batting in this inning.
Gift wash them in Alto.
Him Walker will bad if anybody reaches.
We've talked about this performance in the circle, but I think what he can't take anything from the plate.
She's batting 471 for Tuckerman.
She has three home runs.
I tell you what.
What a great year for this team offensively.
And you know the biggest thing that I would say about this, this Tuckerman team that's been so impressive gift in the circle has has been lights out, but just the way they're approaching the plate.
They have made Mccorkle work for everything as that once driven deep to lapse in her field.
Real going back that one OPS, the wall Browning first his guest, and she'll be in with a stand up double.
We're too far from getting out of here.
No one that carried well, Eric the 4th time tonight all four innings Tuckermans had a runner at second base.
Seems to be that runner at second base has been there with no outs.
That's right.
But as we've alluded to earlier the Cork's done a really good job of kind of pitching into and out of trouble.
She knows she had a little hiccup there in the bottom of the third with giving up three, but the first two innings bases loaded and she only gives up one run so now it brings in the first baseman.
They gonna wash them.
Who is 1 for two today?
She's.
Grounded out to five two, which is also singled ahead in the count one, and oh after guest, 11 O pitch.
Outer half with an off speed.
That evens the count up.
With that just floated up there.
That's pretty brave.
That's all fans of Tuckerman.
11 down and in.
So 2 balls in a string.
Hitters count as Mccorkle gets to sign and a good pinch out her half evens the count there two and two to wash them.
2 balls, two strikes.
To the first baseman and she waves and misses.
Mccorkle it's the strikeout.
That's just her second one today.
That's one thing that's very impressive about Mccorkell.
It doesn't matter where they are homemade, she's gonna go right at these Tuckerman hitters.
In the first pitch here to Alta Mrs Donnan in one ball and no strikes albums, one for two today she's flown out to center and also singled in her last at bat.
They play her to push as she does so fouling it down the right field line.
Even the count at one and one.
I tell you the center fielder real.
She swung around towards right center a good bit when that pitch was was thrown.
There's a large gap in left center field.
They really think ultima's going to push the baseball or part of the softball.
There's that one pushed to right center field.
Real had it played perfectly underneath, makes the catch and that's out.
#2 how about it?
They've done their homework, they sure have.
They've done their homework.
As real coming in to make the catch 2 regards to Mccorkle after giving up the leadoff double.
It's got two gone and.
She could retire Walker.
She could get out of the inning without giving up a run.
One one pitch.
Strike to even things up at one in one.
Walker is 2 for two today.
She's doubled and singled trying to do something here and she loops out with his inner field.
That's a base hit that's gonna score on real over and right center to get it.
But Tuckerman drives in another run.
It is 6 to 1/5 mccullar coming into score after she came in to Ron.
It's 6 to one on the RBI single from Walker and Tuckerman as nickeled and dined DPC all afternoon.
Would Walker 3 for three for this Tuckerman squad and she's batting in the 8.
Also, Coach knew exactly one through 9 is definitely been very productive on this Tuckerman team.
As Ansley Dawson that nine will hit her two for two today, she's got a great average as that one's taken upstairs to even the count up at one and one again, we mentioned Dawson in 426 coming into this.
She's up to her average a bit, and she swings and misses.
Got a good cut, but the off speed had her out in front.
Definitely took a crack at that one.
Mccorkell gave up a double to begin the inning.
Is that what's called back?
She got a strike out and then a fly out.
But a big two out single in RBI from Lizzie Walker.
Allowed Tuckerman to add another on six runs this afternoon on 12 base hits.
The 1-2 years just down and away.
Good pitch there, but even better tech there from Ansley Dawson.
I don't have any homers this year, but that's quite a few singles.
2 two pitch chopped to the left side.
Third baseman can't quite corral it gonna be off her glove.
And that will allow.
Dawson to reach base.
Davis tried to backhand that ball, but might have taken her eyes off of their just a second.
It was enough to carry him off her glove for the third era of the afternoon for the Warriors.
Well again, she got saved to run for him earlier there and.
Chopper shortstop battle in the inning 6 to 5 on the put out there is pounded a great job, throws to Davis and the air does not come back to hurt the Warriors, but they've got some work to do.
Only got 9 ounces with which to work.
They're trailing 6 to one as you're watching the Centennial Bank state baseball and softball championships in Arkansas.

Thank you.
I've never put myself under this much pressure.
I'm desperate to win.
Nunu has cared for children whose parents have nowhere else to turn.
It's not just a job, this is really our life and other shows from Arkansas.
PBS are available with passport on the PBS video app.
Back in July, the summer Camp Fun airs Fridays at 9:30 AM through August the 12th.
As we head to the top of the fifth inning, it'll be the six, seven and eight hitters for the Warriors Mercedes Real Zoe Constant and Brentley Brewer, Carmen Cameron, Argo pardon me will bat if anybody reaches and.
Warriors are down by 5 as gifts delivers to real and the first ones upstairs when bonus strikes is I mentioned you mentioned earlier that beautiful facilities here.
Here in Benton and a great crowd on hand as you would expect for a state title game but goodness gracious, just a fun atmosphere.
The winds been blowing out 84 degrees at first pitch.
It's just a beautiful day.
104 straight back, one on one.
The count.
Definitely tell who's changing for what team because we got Tucker and T shirts on this side we got EPC T shirts on that side so they definitely came out today to support their teams and you really got to love that.
Top of the fifth six to one.
Tuckerman Leeds is the one one.
This is down in the way 2 balls one strike.
The whole plant umpire and this one's Justin Hudspith Gene Bowser's over at 1st and Gordon Campbell is the third base umpire.
They have had a lot of action today some close calls.
They've done a great job.
They've done a wonderful job.
Two and wonder real chopped off her foot and that'll leave in the count now at two and two after the foul ball Real's been active out there in the outfield, she's had a few balls hit right to her and while ago they did a great job of of playing that ball to right center.
And she I'm sure she'd like to hit the base for PC.
With a 22 count, she'll wait on guest.
Yeah, what's up it away and now she works a full count.
It's three and two on the second full count.
That gift has had to throw into.
The last one was against Mccorkle in the first inning.
She ended up getting her to ground out.
And that was about 22 fouls too.
Mccorkle had during that that was a great impact.
Great great discipline in which the pitcher, pardon me.
Guest one is the payoff pitch misses upstairs, so we'll lead off walk.
I'll tell you what, that's a pretty impressive.
Just like last inning, both leadoff batters, the free PC and on first base.
So it'll be interesting to see how we move around.
Last time the buck came into play.
The last inning for EPC so.
As constant stands in, she chopped out to shorter first time up.
All for one today is that one is an off speed pitch that misses down in the way.
And here's the difference.
Guest and lasting after giving up a couple of those.
But singles she fell behind some hitters.
That's a key here for EPC to try to get back into this.
They're down by 5 leadoff walk certainly helps, and it's a 10 count now to constant.
As that one Mrs. Outside two and oh.
Anybody will tell you this.
You getting hitters counts.
Good things happen.
Well that and right now it's a CPC bunch.
Is being patient with the picture.
I guess that's a great point.
Earlier they were swinging a lot of early pitches, getting one pitch out so that one's way better missed two and one.
Because they were expecting her to throw strike.
2 balls, One track runner, first reel she walked to begin the inning bonning here is constant out in front of the plate.
The catcher only play is it first and it will retire.
Constant the sacrifice allows real to move up.
Sacrifice but.
And now they non hitters will have an opportunity to try to drive you in that runner at second base job by catcher.
They're Gracie Smith as she bounced out of the box and made a good catch and just a great throw over the first base to get that out.
You know we've seen a lot of really close plays, but almost every throw we've seen has been really really good.
From both of these defenses is that one misses upstairs?
Want to know?
And here's the deal.
In a play like that is a catcher you have to throw that good and on the money it's got to be a good strong throw.
And if you don't you might pull her off the bag and she saved me.
It's a great job, but we've seen some plays from the shortstops.
It for both sides here early is that one is a called strike at the letters 11 and then we've also seen some defensive plays in the outfield, one to speak of Mercedes real in a diving play and a big moment on a ball that was absolutely blistered right back at her.
Great catch.
One one pitch.
Swing and a miss.
Now it's one to two to Brewer.
Argo, the 9 hole hitter, lights on deck, struck out her first time up.
As did Brewer, who's at the plate right now.
Gotta protect the 1/2 up and in guess try to get her to chase and climb the ladder, but what she wouldn't do it.
Two strikes.
That's a great out there by Brewer.
Brantley Brewer the catcher.
For this warrior.
Sharp Ball team as she steps out again tuckerman's on a 16 game winning streak EP Season 11 game winning streak.
Only one of these teams is going to be able to walk out of here and in their season with a win is that one's fouled off to the right side.
We'll do it again.
As we mentioned earlier, Tuckerman won a year ago.
They're trying to win back to back state titles EPC playing in their first ever state final game in program history.
They got work to do, though if they're gonna come back and win Tuckerman trying to.
What it back to back years is they lead 6 to one that one misses down and away.
Now a full count.
Another good thing that EPC has to build on here a little bit is they they've gotta run on the board where the last five games they've had shutouts at Tuckerman Gifts, has had a shutout for him so they got to feel good about getting a runner in scoring position and have one cross the plate is that one misses upstairs Brewer with an excellent advat works the walk against guest and you're right because Tuckerman through the state tournament give it a run like you said and then this is their first run they've given up.
Here in the state tournament is.
We'll have a mound visit.
My check, her head coach Matt Dillon.
Light up ducked to Mckaley guest.
One out here in the top of the fifth inning, runners at first and second base for the Warriors as really early on.
It was kind of all Tuckerman.
The pitching from GIST.
She retired all nine batters that she faced.
The first nine part of me and then.
The offense was just rolling.
They've scored in all four innings, but here's the deal.
Mccorkle's pitching for EPC.
She's kept it close.
This game could be a lot worse.
Ohh exactly.
I mean they've had runners the the first two or three innings.
It just seems like they were full of a tuck.
Them in base runners but came out.
She's throwing a good game, especially when that runners in scoring position and their defenses played pretty good behind her.
So runners at first and second base is Cameron Arango, stands in batting from the right side squares debut pulls it back and that one misses outside.
That's a good job by the catcher to keep that one from getting around.
There was, and you know our goal.
Back in the 9th hole, you think she's probably gonna put one down here to move these runners around to get that off the line.
Up back is that one bunded found on the right side.
You called it she.
She was trying to, you know, a lot of times, it's it's you obviously want to move the runners up, but you're even thinking, hey, let me beat this out for a hit as well.
The ball one strike the inning began with a walk to reel Constant, bonded her up.
Brewer walked.
Is our go tries to block what went down to try to get that one.
Which is in the whole balance to strike.
So now it will be interesting to see if they try to buck still with our go.
Well, I don't.
I don't know his signs, but it looked like a swing away to me down here with some power so.
Well, this one is.
For all the marbles so there's no room for error.
The one two pitch swinging a Miss Argo got the green light to swing.
Came up empty and gifts with a great pitch when she needed to gets the second out of the inning.
Hey Tuckermans, looked really good.
Gift has done a great job inside the circle.
As we head back to the top of the order now.
And Tarrant, Powell the shortstop.
She reached on about while ago a perfect bunt.
Seemed to be taking there and does so with the fastball strike on the outer half on one.
Pals only seen 5 pitches today.
She popped up to first on a one one pitch and singled with the 11 count.
Ohh one tap foul right side and now guest has got another O2 count.
This is where kissed.
His guest is at her best.
I don't know if she's just fighting that one off or trying to slap it or what but she did get a bat on it.
Missed already today has four strikeouts.
Trying to make it 5 right here and end the EPC threat, but Taran Powell trying to battle.
02 looked left field that could be trouble.
This part of me, the runner trying to go to 3rd ran into the shortstop.
That's real deal way home.
That's gonna be a double into the gap from pal.
How about the O2 hitting their driving into left center and a PC's on the board again?
You gotta love that you're laid off hitter, you know she comes up and bunch when the last inning in right there she just stayed in there, fought the pitches off and ends up finding the gap.
Puts it in there and I had a little collision there.
It said it shortstop but runner and had went ahead and got in.
That's the first base hit of the inning, but hey, it's six to two now you look up as Kelly Lucas stands in.
She's one for 2:00 today.
A base hit here could very likely, if it's into the outfield night, could score 2.
As the right hander weights on the left handed pitcher, guess that one this is upstairs one and O now guest.
She granted out to 2nd on one pitch and singled on one pitch.
So that's just the third pitch she's seen today exactly.
Boy, we got a good one here and.
Central Arkansas 10.
Called strike.
They tried to throw over to 3rd.
The runner that's a brave throw right there with with two outs.
Football gets by the 3rd baseman.
You know they gets at least one exactly.
One ball, one strike, two going top of the fifth inning.
As the Warriors have already driven in Iran with a big double from Tehran Powell, the one one pitch knee high strike and now it's one and two.
Kind of hard to say they're gonna make gifts those strikes because we know she can.
So seems like they'll be swinging away.
Gonna protect guess trying to get out of the inning.
The 1/2.
Good could take there from Lucas.
Is that what sailed outside of the?
Zone 2 balls two strikes.
This is bad 412 for EPC.
As guests delivers that was hit softly back to the pitcher.
She gloves it and throws on the money in the inning.
But APC had Duran not a base hit we had at the bottom of the 5th.
62 Tuckerman leads it, you're watching the Centennial Bank state baseball and softball championships on our Kansas PBS sports.
I think it's important for Arkansas PBS to have sports because it provides sports on a greater platform to the entire community, and it also gives people in various other communities an opportunity to see other schools and other athletes and to have a greater appreciation for not just their own community, but the sports that are available across the state of Arkansas.
There are so many lessons that sports provides and it's one of the reasons why it's so important to the next generation of athletes coming up.

To place your order.
As we head here to the bottom of the fifth inning.
Tucker made up six to two in this one.
And they're trying to add to it in the home half of the 5th inning.
Is Mccorkell out?
For her 5th inning of work, she's giving up six runs on twelve hits.
And first pitch popped up left side.
Down the third baseline and foul ground, the left fielder coming over makes the catch our go retires.
Can't see those that tell you what tonight there's been there this afternoon.
There's been 2 great catches I out of play over there.
We just have to trust that they were incredible catching exactly I can't see so we're going to call him great catches.
As it brings in Gracie Smith, the catcher takes the first pitch upstairs for ball one.
Is that what's a good pitch out or half to even the count at one and one corkle?
He's pitched.
In every game this year for EPC missing downstairs 21 the count hitters count to Smith she's 32 and two on the year and she's got an incredible numbers 323 strikeouts.
Is that one ripped past the shortstop towards the gap in left center field?
Taking a wide turn at first is Smith, but she'll hold up there with a one out single.
See what Smith was setting back on that when she was ready for that *****.
She she actually got a good good cut on that one.
And it brings in.
Cleanup hitter Nicholson is they're going to go ahead.
Bringing a runner for Smith over it.
First base looks like Julie Glasgow.
So.
So Glasgow comes in.
To run over at first base and the cleanup hitter, Nicholson.
Stands in and takes the first one for a strike.
Talking about situations but corpus no stranger this situation.
She's had runners own.
Seems like every ending and she just gets better when they get in.
One and one count to Nicholson who is.
One for three today, single drove in the game's first run.
Is that what's popped up on the infield?
Second baseman Lucas is over.
And there's out #2.
So Mccorkle got a chance.
To put up her first zero on the board in the scores column against Tuckerman, they've.
Bulldogs have scored in all four innings.
They gotta run in the first one in the second three runs in the third inning and one last inning in the 4th is Michaela Guest.
Standing in takes the first pitch outside for a ball and guest got a big double for him there and see what she will talk about her in the circle, but she's doing well at the plate.
Also for Tuckerman this year.
Gotta hitters count though at two and oh now against Mccorkle, that one hit to 2nd sharply.
Nice play.
Lucas throws wide at first.
That'll be an error.
E4 is that one gets away from the first baseman and now the ending continues with the runners at the corners.
It's one of those plays that Coach Powell talks about.
We need to get the easy outs and that what she did a great job is she kind of broke the second base and did a wonderful job of getting back and getting in front of the ball.
But the throw got away from her a little bit.
His faith McCullough will come in Toronto over at first base for guests.
And it brings in the first baseman Reagan wash them.
While she was one for 3:00 today.
Singled and struck out.
Now what's into third should in the inning 5 three is the throw for the third baseman, Davis ends the inning.
And there's no runs come on the board.
One hit one air, 2 runners left through five here in Benton, in the two A state softball finals.
Tucker meets at 6/2 and we'll be right back.

Welcome you back.
2 Central Arkansas here on the campus of Bitten high school topping the 6th, it's getting late in this one tuckermans up six to two and they are 6 outs away from climbing back to back.
State titles is Gist delivers to the three hole hitter Keegan Mccorkle in the first pitch.
She's found tipped into the catchers Mitt Frank one.
We talked about the battle.
These two had the first inning with gifts, pitching and Mccorkle at the plate.
I think this will be about the same kind of battle here in the top of the six for EPC.
014 back to the screen.
Now it's 02 E Poinsett County, Eric.
They have only given up the most they've given up all year in a single game was to Riverside in four runs and get up six today.
And obviously you knew it was going to be tough.
Both sides are really really good, having to play flawless softball but four errors has not helped.
The Warriors is that what's found off again, but I'll tell you what has helped his mccorkle at the plate.
She has battled almost every time a lot of foul balls.
She just battles at the plate.
He has done a good job of making a guest pick a spot.
Guest again the O2 chopped left side towards the whole nice play to the third baseman Dawson, and she throws Mccorkle at first.
That was a dandy play there.
Randy Dewlap, Anza Dawson, through a dark to first base 53 the first batters retired and I gotta take up a little bit for that first baseman wash him.
She did a good job of keeping her foot on the bag and stretching out there to get that first out for Tuckerman.
And it brings in the cleanup hitter Natalie Dunman.
Dunn has an RBI today one of two RBI's four EPC and that one rips through the hole.
It shortened in the left field.
Worthington's over to get it.
She's the left fielder not batting today for Tuckerman.
That was it in there were two balls right off the bat.
Hit pretty hard from this EPC squad and that one right there had a little air under it so I'm good job.
This CPC squad coming out here not folding.
Six to two.
With one out here in the top of the sixth inning.
As Davis stands in JC Davis takes out one down on the way.
As the leader.
Want to know?
The count to the Warriors third baseman.
Dunman they tried to throw behind her at first base.
She got a big jump there.
Close play, but calls for time and created by the first base umpire.
With this two times in the last two innings that this catcher from Tuckerman just took some rockets, one to third base and that one right there at the first base.
Put it right on a dime.
Davis just popped up to the right side of the infield twice.
Does so again there down the right field line foul.
Now it's two and one.
Tuckerman scored in all of the first four innings, but.
Weren't able to score the bottom of the fifth EPC.
Scored one run in each of the 4th and 5th innings.
Trying to add 1 here is that one way that in this there from Davis and it's two and two we talked about that offensive tuckermans and we've talked about the what what Mccorkle's giving up and you know they only giving up four runs like you said but I tell you what I bet they've not faced an offense like his Tuckerman, his Tuckerman team.
They averaged 10 runs a game 10.06 to be exact.
22 hit off the end of the map of the pitcher.
Guest with a nice backhand.
Only plays at first base, but two are gone and.
Just with a four run cushion.
Really, at this point, just trying to fill up the zone and not put people on base via the wall.
It's real that was on 2nd earlier in the ball game and was one of the first base runners for EPC.
That's exactly right.
That's from the right side, takes that one high from Gist.
It is one and oh the count to the warriors center fielder.
Real struck out looking her first at bat but worked a great full count walk last time up with two outs really needs.
To find a way on base is that one misses outside two and oh, good eye on that one that looked like I'm at a painting the corner a little bit.
2 balls, no strikes, but I'd tell you Mikaela guess has been lights out in the circle for the Bulldogs, only giving up four hits.
Is that one swung on and missed from real two and one it just feels like a lot of these hitters are just trying to guess against guests.
A lot of a lot of late swings.
It hard to guess against a picture like this.
I sure is and Mccorkell on the other side is done a really good job filling up the zone worked herself into trouble and out of trouble.
A lot.
Bowled again at the plate two and two.
Good job with these EPC matters.
You know, we've talked about how many of them have battled.
They've all battled on both sides when it's come to making these pictures.
Really dial in and throw some pitches.
Nobody's had an easy batter yet by no means.
Not at all.
13 hits for Tuckerman, 4 for EPC.
Two tutor real foul again and to your point, goodness battling at the plate.
Is Mercedes real?
One I mentioned again that cat she made out to centerfield diving in my goodness.
And and like you said, it wasn't a floater, it had a leak behind it.
Michaela guessed with a 2 ball two strike count.
Delivers, that's a great pitch, but missed a little outside and low.
I tell you, great take from real that was awful close with two strikes and two outs.
I guess she that wasn't her pitch and she didn't think it was going to be a strike.
So good job there by real.
Justin Hudspeth has kept the zone the same the great zone.
It has been all game long.
Did not budge.
Payoff failed again back.
And we'll do it once more with a runner in scoring position if you're the warriors here, you're down by 4.
With only four outs with which to work, we really need to get baserunners and need some runs.
Payoff pitch again.
The real here comes.
Outside in a great take from real, she works the count and gets the wall.
It's two outstanding bats.
By real I mean really making gifts come in and throw some strikes at her.
She's had her with two strikes at both the bats and Real's done a great job of of working the picture.
Is Zoe constant?
Will come in to bat here constant on the years she's hitting 333.
There's no home runs but 16 RBI's 5 double s. Boy would love to get ahead here.
Well being a senior too.
She's a one to one senior on the CPC squad.
Is that one is a good pitch from Gist right down the middle track one.
This is all for one day.
She's grounded out to short.
She's also.
Butter to run her up.
With the sacrifice.
01 is pop foul right field line out of play.
One of the premier with two with JB.
These are two teams that we could possibly see back next year with the amount of underclassmen they've got, you know EPC.
Here with one senior that's batting in Tuckerman only with two seniors, so some great softball for these towns in the next few years.
As the O2 is a called strike three, a late call from the home plate umpire, but that will end the inning and guest gets out of it with no runs giving up.
We played five and a half, six to two Tuckerman leads it as we head to the bottom of the sixth inning.
You're watching the Centennial Bank state baseball and softball championships and Arkansas PBS sports.

Ben Dickey on the growing season a new monthly agricultural podcast from Arkansas PBS that will follow the stories of 6 Arkansas farmers as they work through a year on their land.
Available wherever you listed as we head here to the bottom of the sixth inning.
Mccorkle to work through this is.
Our team trailing 6 to 2.
Is all took at the plate takes out right away and it's 2 balls and strikes.
And again, you've talked about Alton batting and the nano, and she's batting.
402 Right now I'm sorry.
364 for the.
For Tuckerman, is Atwood's a called strike there from Ultimate I tell you just the hitting all the way around from Tucker has been impressive is that once fouled back well, you know it's the you know EPC saying when you got a team like this it's his offensive offensively.
Sound is what Tucker mean is you got to make the easy plays and I think if we go back to it they'd like to have some of these defensive plays mishaps back this EPC squad would.
The two two.
Missing inside and I tell you sometimes it's you know it's hard to tell what the college from the home plate umpire he takes his time.
I've no problem with that.
Yeah, make sure he makes the right call, but sometimes it is hard to call it.
Pay off chop to the left side pals there.
Throw to 1st in time and the leadoff batters retired for Mccorkell and the Warriors.
63 on that put out, and it brings in the 8 hole hitter Lizzie Walker.
Walker is 3 for three today.
She also has an RBI.
EPC has just not found a way to get her out.
Is that what's foul back?
And that's about the same way they have been with all these Tuckerman hitters.
They every one of them have found a way to put the battle on the ball and just make something happen and make this EPC squad play some defense.
Well, you know they got 13 hits, but they've also left 12 runners on.
It's amazing through 5.
In a third innings ohh one.
Hit hard the first base off the glove of the first baseman constant, but she's able to recover corrals it and steps on the back quickly to were gone is that was a three out of assisted the 9 hole hitter.
Ansley Dawson will come to bat now as we look here.
Boy, that one was hit hard, but what good job there by the 1st baseman Zoe, the senior staying in front of and just taking one right off the bread basket.
First pitch there to Dawson's a called strike.
Ohh and one.
Tell me the story of this one has been the early scoring for Tuckerman.
Mccorkle is kind of settled in here, done a really good job, but.
Doctor Mendez got six runs, the most runs that EPC.
Give it up all year long.
Well, in that third inning with those three runs, kind of.
Put a little damper on there.
A couple of those were on our aren't running, so you know when you go back and you look at this just two or three plays away from being real close right here?
Going into final stretch as the off speed catches the outer half too, and two great pits there.
For Mccorkle trying to work her first 123 inning.
It'd be much needed.
224 to the plate.
Dawson got enough to stay alive and Dawson's two for three.
Today singled twice and also reached on an air.
It seems like a it seems like Mccorkle, just she's she's.
She's got a lot of fire in her JB.
I mean, she doesn't matter what the score is or what's going on.
She's going to come at you and just like she did right there with that strikeout.
Great pitch by Mccorkle.
Good job as you said by this CC EPC bunch you to get a 3 on three down, but it's six to two as we head to the top of the 7th.
Recommend trying to win back to back state titles.
ABC's trying to stay around and play some more.
They're gonna need at least four.

With Arkansas Week, I tell people all the time that vaccines, in my opinion, are the miracle of modern medicine.
There have been devastating diseases that have been virtually eradicated because of vaccines, you know, polio, smallpox.
Things like that.
This one's the same way.
It's a great thing it prevents in most cases you from getting COVID.
And even if you get it, your chances of being really sick are much, much less.
Much, much less likely to go to the hospital.
Much, much, much less likelihood that you die.
So I think it's a great thing.
Great thing.
As we head to the top of the 7th inning, 3 ounce to go as we get you saying after this one Conway and Bentonville in the 6A baseball finals.
That's at 4:00 PM here on PBS.
Be sure to stick around and watch that one.
Because this one's almost over top of the 7th.
PC's trying to stay alive here in their first ever appearance.
Here at the state finals against Tuckerman Tuckerman, trying to win back to back state titles and they are three outs away from doing so.
PC's got to 891 and up.
The first pitch to Brewer.
This is upstairs ball one.
So wanna know two brentley Brewer the catcher trying to keep.
This awesome season going is that was a called strike in half one and one.
Boy, both of these teams have just shown their dominance throughout the year.
There's a reason these both these teams deserve to be here.
It has been a great ball game that has outlines fouled off right side the Brewer and now it's one and two again.
Like we said with the with the youth that they have on both of these programs, don't be surprised if it's nothing.
A same matchup next year.
No kidding, but Brewer at this point gonna have to protect Michael.
I guess trying to strike her out in the 1/2 just inside that was a great pitch there from guest Brewer.
With a good tank evens the count at two and two.
Well, both teams just have dominant pitching.
And again with this C. Yeah, with this Tuckerman squad the way they they battle it to play to it's been a great game the 22.
Chopped 4 right side.
We'll do it again.
And I think you look here this one.
Obviously the three outs still laughed.
EPC needs baserunners any way they can get him exactly.
Two and two mckaley guests.
She has been very very good today.
And that one fouled off again.
But how about Bradley Brewer?
She's not wanting to go home badly.
Falls out with right side man.
This has been a great ball game.
Six to two Tuckerman.
They scored in the first four innings.
They weren't able to score the 5th and 6th.
APC scored in the 4th and 5th.
But here in the 7th.
Down six to two.
Is that what's chopped foul outside third boy Brewers?
Battling at the plate now going down to easy, that's for sure.
The caller guest.
As the Tuckerman faithful.
Begin to clap 22.
Chop foul to the right side again and boy and inside outside Brewer is hanging in there.
She's she is definitely.
She's not going away without a fight.
That is, for certain kayley gist has pitched very well.
With the two two again.
Up and in.
Wow, how about it from Brewer?
Yeah, take a pitch like that in battle like she has been.
Then take a pitch.
Have a little speed by and get kind of got a little inside on the on the batter.
Well, I've just been impressed with both sides at the plate battling pay off, fouled off her foot left side again.
We have got a dual going on.
Here is the pitcher.
Michaela Guest and the banner Brindley Brewer.
Who's gonna win this one?
Three balls?
Two strikes?
Who's gonna win this battle I should say.
Pay off again, down and away, and Brewer will be awarded first base.
The leadoff hitter board with the wall.
We don't say that much about your 8 hole hitter in your picture.
You don't say what about him, but that ain't no hitter.
Brewer came in there right there.
She was bound and determined to get to first base and a great job of fighting some pitches off and taking ball forward.
And, you know, EPC said, they had to win this ball game.
We got to get that first runner on board and that's what they did.
Guest only has four walks today.
But all four of them have come on payoff pitches.
Is that one is chopped to the right side from Argo, the second baseman sold an underhand flips to 1st, and that is the first out of the 7th inning.
EPC only got 2 outs with which to work, and Tuckerman 2 outs away from back to back state titles exactly right in a good job there by soda in there.
Just getting that out because the runner on second really doesn't mean anything.
So the only way to get to 3 is to get with that first one in.
That's what they did.
So brings in top of the order in Tarrant Powell 2 for three.
Today singled and also drove in a run with a double takes the first pitch, a strike, on the other hand, full in one.
It's called a great game, but sometimes I try to get ahead of him a little bit cause guest is she's in a zone right now.
Check swing, but a hit by pitch and that will allow pal to reach.
They'll be runners at first and second base now with one gone and Kelly Lucas the second baseman, will bat 143 today.
Not sure she's trying to get out of the way of that one or not, but it looked like the the back came down like she might be trying to bunt the ball, but again they threw her inside there and she's trying to do all she could to get away from that pitch with two runners aboard.
And the batter Lucas EPC needs 1 baserunner to bring the tying run to the plate.
Is that what's a called strike?
Going one and you got Mccorkell and done?
I'm waiting on Dad speaking to say the tooth that the two that you want to be back in this situation are waiting waiting there in the wings.
As the old one, this is outside even the count at one and one.
It's not unless it's not just crazy happens.
We'll say mccorkle.
The one one that one hitter on the helmet and the bases are loaded and APC.
They will bring the time run to the plate and the tying run and the name of of Mccorkle and I'll tell you what, and we know how bad these two battled in that first inning.
She did a great job of of hanging in there and making gifts.
Throw strikes and I think this is very an uncharacteristic spot for guests to be and hit those two batters like that.
Back to back.
And that's probably gonna be it for guest.
And indeed it is.
We'll have a pitching change.
I don't know who's coming in, but I know we talked about it a little earlier.
The shortstop Nicholson has done a good job for Tuckerman, pitching some this year.
And it.
And it comes at a big time.
We'll hit a break.
We'll tell you about the new picture when we come back, you're watching the Centennial Bank state Baseball softball championships in Arkansas.

Top of the seventh one gone bases loaded and the tying run will come to the plate in the form of Keegan Mccorkle, the new pitcher for Tuckermans Kenzie showed in the second baseman.
She's pitched 24 to 30 innings and she has pitched very well, only given up 21.
It's 18 runs only 906 walks, 30 strikeouts.
She's got a 2.58 ERA and the first pitch from soap.
This is outside one bowl, no strikes to Mccorkle.
The second baseman coming in and a Fortenberry.
Will come in good guy defensively for the Bulldogs.
One one pitch to soap upstairs 2 and O's hitters Count Mccorkle she has the most home runs on his CBC lineup with 940 RBI's as well.
You said hitters count.
That's exactly what I was thinking about, Mccorkle.
She can pull the trigger here and really tie this game up.
One swing of the bat would tie things up at 6 the 20 swinging them since she was on it.
She was looking for it.
That was a big pitch there from Soden.
Now it's two and one, and that's the freebie.
Now you just want to put something in the green to get a run in here.
Still a hitters count with Dunman waiting on deck 21 found back.
No, it's two and two.
It looks like they're playing a couple straight away, so got a little bit of gap there in the left center.
Pace is full of warriors in the top of the 7th, when the one's gone.
A double play within it, a bashed her home run.
Going that which popped up foul just gets out of the reach of the catcher in the first baseman Chasing Boy another 2-2 count up coming.
Yeah, this is a nail biter here.
Bad nail biter and you got 2/2 of the big sticks here for EPC coming up one that's at the plate right now and then you got one waiting there in the circle.
2 balls, two strikes, Sowden again swinging a miss.
Got a big strikeout.
Mccorkle waves and misses and Tuckerman janaway.
Come back to back state titles.
That's something that just couldn't get done.
She couldn't strike Mccorkle out and someone comes in and does a great job of getting the number one hitter there for EPC to strike out.
And it brings in Natalie Dunman the last hope for the Warriors.
Seldon retired the first out of her appearance, one more to go to claim a title that what's up in a way that machine has five home runs this year for EPC.
She leads their team with 50 RBI's as well and she'd love to pick up a few right here to add to them totals.
One ball and no strikes 7 again.
Got the sign and that one this is a little bit low.
2 balls and no strikes to the cleanup hitter for the Warriors.
I'm not for sure, but I'm looking down there on Dunham's hands.
I think those are work gloves, Jimmy she's got on.
So she's coming to the bat ready to work.
She's not playing around the two old climbing the ladder, swinging them in, and it's two in one.
Mackenzie Shelton.
She walked it off last year, four to three win over Mansfield.
She's in the circle now and she is trying to close it out for back to back state titles for her Tuckerman Bulldogs, 21 to Dunham swinging a miss again.
Now it's two and two.
Ice, water and some rain.
Last year she comes in and gets the 123 and the 7th and gets the walk off single attend the ball game and get a state championship for Tuckerman and right now they put her in the circle and man I tell you what right now.
This this crowd's getting crazy.
So 2 balls in two strikes.
And Natalie Dunman trying to keep PC alive trying to either work or walk a base hit drive, something Tuckerman trying to strike her out.
And when for the second time in as many years, the two two found straight back.
Wow again, as we've seen all day long CPC battling.
That's big to say that they're not going down without swinging, that's for sure.
2 balls and two strikes.
Once again boy.
This one coming down to the wire as we imagined it would.
The two two once more that one's low, and so we'll have a full count with two gone here in the top of the 7th so you know what's happening right here.
Runners they're taking off and so hit here will get at least two and I would believe Tuckerman trying to end it with one pitch.
EPC trying to keep their season alive.
The payoff pitch swinging a pop-up that might do it.
The third baseman Dawson shortstop Nicholson makes the catch in Tuckerman has won back to back state titles.
Guest in the circle to start pitched brilliantly in Soden.
Comes out of the pit and retires the two toughest hitters in the EPC lineup to claim back to back state championships for the Tuckerman Bulldogs won a game on a great job of EPC of battling and not letting tuck them and just have it real easy.
They did a heck of a job of both on the offensive side and defensive side so hats off the PC.
What a finish in this.
Tuckerman wins it six to two for their second state title in as many years back to back State champs as they come down here in Central Arkansas and they will leave winners.
But hey, if you're PC no reason to hang your head.
Had a great season played, great Tuckerman was just the better team today.
Well, you know, definitely and I'm sure there's a couple plays they would love to have back and get a shot at stabbing some of those and stopping and keeping the ball in front of them.
Six to two Tuckerman is your Centennial bank.
2022 two a state champions we're gonna hit a break.

Welcome back to Central Arkansas on the campus of Benton High School in the wake of a six to two Tuckerman Bulldog State Championship victory over East Poinsette County as they are being awarded.
The trophy right out there outside of home plate.
I tell you I'm Jamie Brazil alongside me.
Eric king.
What a game it was today.
Both teams put it all on the line gave it everything they had, but Tuckerman was able to come out with a win today.
Their offense was big and guests in the circle played a huge part in the victory.
Well, you gotta like what coach said earlier.
Went through nine that they've they've.
They've contributed a lot this year and boy they did the same right here.
How many runners are live on base like 12 runners?
I think they ended up leaving on base so it's exciting.
See a game like this to kick off the the the state tournament here with softball, but I tell you what EPC and Tuckerman are two teams JB that we're able to see again next year.
Both of these teams not graduating.
Many seniors, only one on East Poinsett County side and and 2/2 for Tuckerman.
But Tuckerman getting the pictures down in front of home plate in between home plate and the circle.
And Tuckerman is your two.
A 2022 state softball champions.
They win for back to back seasons.
It's been a fun afternoon of softball for my partner Eric King.
I'm JB Brazil, saying so long here from Benton, you've been watching this Centennial bank.
