A federal judge ruled that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office engaged in racial profiling. He also ordered the sheriff’s office to stop the practice. A proposed casino in Glendale has been challenged in court several times, and each time has beaten those challenges. Also, Apple Inc. is being criticized for moving profits off shore in an alleged effort to avoid U.S. taxes.
