I have a lot of great interactions with the homeless community, just wall painting.
I can really see firsthand how it's making art accessible to people that wouldn't always have that opportunity.
one of my favorite and probably the closest relationships I built was when I was doing Street Art Festival and was painting this 25 foot wall with just a ladder.
And this guy came up.
He was like, You know, you give me $2 and I'll climb up there and be top of the wall.
And he was like, insistent, and I was thinking, Well, you know, I really could use the help.
So he climbed up and painted and helped me paint all day and I paid him, or I paid a more than $2.
He showed up the next day and helps me paint, and so I paid him again.
And you know, I think that lots of people can have impact on the people around them just by treating people like they're human and that they have value.
