And now they are eager to bring the power of arts back to Southwest Florida.
We've been waiting to reintroduce the 2122 season.
one thing that has been reinforced with everyone over the last chapter of time is that we need the arts.
We need to experience together the power of music, the power of dance, the power of a Broadway show, a terrific exhibition.
We are excited to have a full, robust Naples Philharmonic season.
Everything will be available in our 2122 season as part of its mission.
Artists Naples also continues to build for the future by offering a wide array of educational arts programs for the young people of the community.
The education programs of artists Naples are the foundation of both our visual and performing arts programing.
The education program served about 45,000 students annually.
There's great joy in watching these young artists discover the world of music, painting, sculpture.
It really gives me great joy to imagine how they will participate in the arts as adults.
There had long been plans in the works for an expansion of the renowned Baker Museum on the artist's Naples campus, but damage from Hurricane Irma, followed by the emergence of the COVID 19 pandemic, temporarily shelved those renovation plans.
But now the Fine Arts Museum and the adjacent Norris Garden are open.
We are excited to introduce our entire community and those visiting to this newly expanded, renovated, repaired, bigger than imaginable vacant museum.
This project not only repaired the facade of the Baker Museum, but added about 18,000 square feet of new spaces, spaces for gallery display, for exhibition, for education, learning lecture, even the third floor sunset terrace to watch the beautiful sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
With its new and improved campus and an upcoming schedule of world class performances, artists Naples is excited to welcome everyone back.
Whether it's the sounds of the Naples Philharmonic, the expansion of the Baker Museum, our wonderful youth programs, or being in the audience in Hayes Hall.
Artist Naples is so proud to welcome over 300,000 visitors annually in this beautiful community that prioritizes arts and culture.
We look forward to seeing you this season.
