I had it in my head.
You know, I want this bench, but I want it to be an art bench.
I want you to contemplate art and see maybe other artists work.
I worked with Jesse Woodward.
Jesse is an amazing blacksmith, and so he was able to take this crazy idea in my head and actually make it into this amazing, gorgeous bench.
But then there's a tree coming up, and now you look up at the in the branches and there are probably 15 different artists up there maybe.
So if you go out there and sit, you're going to see jewelers leaves, but you'll also find potters.
So you'll find Eckels Pottery.
She actually made the nest with the bird in it.
And Pete, he made some leaves out of, I think he used porcelain.
Then all of a sudden, other things just started showing up.
Like there's a little felted kitten out there and somebody put a little fairy house that they made out ceramics.
So it's kind of neat how it started collecting art.
But its a really neat place because you can contemplate the beauty of our area, but also the beauty of how the artists interpret our area.
