The Columbia County rural library district could find itself shut down by voters.
After a community member filed a petition to close the library.
In July, the petition was submitted by the resident upset that the children's section of the library contained books she and others believed had sexual content.
Libraries nationwide are facing similar calls To ban books that cover race and LGBTQ plus issues.
Last year during Pride Month, the firestorm at the Dayton Library started when several new LGBTQ plus books were on display in different areas of the library.
