At Argensal, flavors from Argentina and El Salvador create a multicultural food sensation.
Featured in Crosscut's project Made There, this popular Kingston restaurant popup has been dishing out authentic Latin cuisine at community events since 2019.
Empanadas and pupusas are a few of the items served up by co-owners Maria Cornelius and Sabrina Ericalde.
Combining their favorite Argentinian and Salvadorian recipes, they've built a business that honors their respective cultures.
- [Owner] Our first job was to educate, because it was cuisine that not a lot of people have heard of.
- And I think that's our purpose, just through the food to get a little bit of our country, our culture.
- Made There spotlights small business owners creating local craft, food and beverage products in the Pacific Northwest.
