#### A federal judge has temporarily blocked Governor Beshear's mask mandate in a private school -- Saint Joseph Elementary School in Cold Spring, in Campbell County.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports 20 families sued, and a hearing on the case is set for next Tuesday.
The mask mandate remains in place at public schools, preschools, and daycares.
#### Magoffin County will close schools, all of next week, because of increased COVID cases and quarantines.
School is set to start back, Monday August 30th.
#### Former State Representative Brent Yonts had died at the age of 72 of COVID.
He served from 1997 to 2016.
His district covered Muhlenberg County and part of Hopkins County.
His family says he had been vaccinated.
