The bicycle race track in Penrose Park, once nicknamed “Mr. Bumpy Face”, is open again with a new, improved surface. High on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River, Crosby Brown’s log cabin takes visitors back hundreds of years to the Missouri frontier. Eero Saarinen designed the Gateway Arch but had no idea how to get people to the top. Dick Bowser offered to take on the challenge.
