Yarrow Thorne and his organization, The Avenue Concept bring public art to Rhode Island.

Since 2012, RISD graduate Yarrow Thorne and his organization The Avenue Concept have delivered public art to unexpected places around the Ocean State, including murals in Providence’s financial district, RIPTA buses, electrical boxes, and more. For Thorne, the process has been an ongoing community conversation that has provoked thought, dialogue, and in one case, violent reactions.
