(upbeat music) - Ballet Hispanico, the nation's leading Hispanic Latina dances company returns to Salt Lake City for one night only.

Dennis Busch from UtahPresents shares what makes this performance a must see.

Hi Dennis, so tell us all about this ballet.

- Well, this company has been around since 1970, which is crazy.

They have been going strong since then, and they are the largest Hispanic Latine dance company in the United States.

And they really have this beautiful fusion of modern and ballet and folkloric dance, and really offers this fresh perspective on dance.

And it's really a beautiful thing to see.

- Ah, that's wonderful, but here, only one night.

- Only one night, so people need to come see 'em.

- Yeah, and and it's at Kingsbury.

- It is, and we work really hard to keep our tickets affordable, so they start at $13 with fees.

And we really wanna make this accessible to everyone in the community.

- Oh, that's great.

It's a great thing to do, and I know you always have great performances.

What else are you bringing this year?

- Yeah, we've got, as part of our Jazz Series, we have Lakecia Benjamin on October 23rd, as well as Ukrainian Band, Kurbasy is coming on November 5th.

- Wow.

- Yeah, so at UtahPresents we really focus on having a wide variety of things and something for everybody.

- Yeah, you feature a lot of different things, a Ukrainian band, wow.

- Yeah.

- Yeah, very timely.

- Very cool, yeah.

And as part of our 10th anniversary off the stage, and on the stage, Ballet Hispanico will be doing a day long, we're calling it Reach Up Day for about 2000 K-12 students, totally free.

They'll get to come and enjoy a performance and do campus tours, and get to have other educational activities on campus.

- Oh, that is a great outreach.

- Yeah.

- Absolutely.

- Very smart.
