The annual Barnstaple Brown gala is Friday night in Louisville.
Celebrities this year include comedian Tracy Morgan, Broadway's Sheryl Lee, Ralph Singer, Kid Rock and Louisville rapper Jack Harlow.
The gala puts the fun in fundraiser with proceeds benefiting UK Health Care's Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center.
The director of the center, Dr. Simon Fisher, says it's a party with a purpose.
It's a fantastic opportunity for the Barnstable Brown family to raise awareness of diabetes and raise funds for supporting diabetes care and research at the University of Kentucky.
We're incredibly grateful for the family for hosting this party and incredibly grateful for the the proceeds, which goes to support diabetes care in Kentucky.
