So now this journey up to Nashville, you're writing and recording in Nashville, working with Nashville songwriters, but now you're currently a part of The Voice on NBC.

Yep.

So, was that something that you said, "I wanna do this, I'm gonna go audition for The Voice", or did somebody say, "Hey, we need to get you to go audition for The Voice and see how far you can go there"?

So, it was not something I ever thought I would do, to be honest with you.

I mean, I never personally went to open calls for different shows.

And my mom had done it, and I just never thought it was a path I would take, 'cause I'm already, I work in the business a lot.

But at the same time, if somebody reaches out to me, I would definitely do it, and that's what happened.

A casting director reached out and was like, "Are you interested in this?

And if you are, send me some video."

And I said, what the heck.

I'm that kind of guy, if somebody asks me if I'm interested in something, the answer's gonna be yes.

'Cause I mean, all I do for a living is music, and the more work I have, the better.

So I mean, I'm a yes man when it comes to gigs, or whatever it is.

But no, man, it's been great.

I mean, it's a blast.

It's a ton of fun.

-Was it everything -You learn so much.

-you expected it to be?

-Yeah.

I mean, it was more.

I mean, it was more than I expected it to be.

It was a great time and just a lot of fun.

It's a really cool experience.

I feel like every musician should get to do it once.
