If you play guitar and you brought your lady with you tonight, when he start the playing put your hand over her eyes, so she won't see his fingers.
Usually when we start to play, when we announce the guy we're coming to in a few minutes, the trumpeter, they both play, not at the same time.
And ladies start parading around the bandstand.
And when they start parading around the bandstand, they get in front of the trumpet player over there and stop.
Then they start disrobing.
(audience laughing) You know, some of you know what I'm talking about.
When they start disrobing, they throw the parts up to him.
He grab 'em and put 'em in here, and he won't share 'em with us at all.
(audience laughing) So this part of the rhythm section stays a little bit mad with him over there.
Anyhow, I'm ready, are you ready?

- Well, I'll go back to the guitarist, you see, I'll tell you in a few minutes why I skipped over him.
When you get to be my age, which I'll tell you in a few minutes, you don't remember all the things you used to.
But me, I'll mention my name a little later.

I usually talk about him a little rough, but we're at the Royal Albert Hall so.
I'll shut up.
I'm quite proud of that boy though, because he's the only one in our family that went to college and graduated.
(audience applauding) So I'm quite proud of him, Walter Riley King.
He's named after my brother and I.
My name is Riley, believe it or not.
My brother's name was Walter, so he's Walter Riley King.
That's him, I don't know why my sister decided to name him that.
Anyway, we move on down, the tallest person in our group.

Ladies and gentlemen, a few years ago, two years to be exact, I had a record producer at the time.
His name was, what was his name?
(audience laughing) His name was T-Bone Burnett.
(audience applauding) I had never met T-Bone at the time.
I thought he was the guitar player, one of my favorites.
But it wasn't T-Bone Walker, it was T-Bone Burnett.
So he said, "B, I got a new song for you."
At that time I was 84.
He's about 40 maybe.
He came up to me, young, good looking, and said, "I got a new song for you."
I thanked him and asked him, "What was it?"
And the title of it was, "Please See That My Grave Is Kept Clean."
(audience laughing) That sort of bothered me a little bit.
Why did he wait until I got to be 84, to tell me about keeping some grave clean?
I ain't gonna talk about no graves, especially about my age, you know?
So I thought about it and thought about it, then I said, "What's your name?"
He said, "T-Bone Burnett."
"Did you ever hear of T-Bone Walker?"
- [Audience] Yes!
- He said, "No."
(audience laughing) T-Bone Walker was one of my favorites.
(audience applauding) Oh, thank you.
You know what I'm talking about.
So I said, well, okay.
But I'd heard of it, of course I'd heard of it, because it was written by a blind person called Blind Lemon Jefferson.
(audience cheering and applauding) Which was older than I am.
So I said, "Okay."
Then he reached in his pocket.
He reached in his pocket and he pulled out a roll of green backed bills that we use in the U.S. (rhythmic blues music continues) Then I started to see euros.
(rhythmic blues music continues) (rhythmic blues music continues) I started to see euros.
(rhythmic blues music continues) He's, then, yay!
Me and him, he and I fight every night.
And he found the word I was looking for, pounds!
(audience cheering and applauding) A roll he came out with.
My pockets are not that big.
However, when he pulled out all the greens, I stopped being mean, and it goes like this.
