We're excited that everyone in the city of Nashville can celebrate Be My Neighbor Day here at the African Street Festival.
Literacy and making sure that families have a place where they feel welcomed and kids can learn how to be kind and neighborly.

And what I think being a good neighbor means is to be nice, kind, and respectful.
- It means to be nice and be kind and help out others and help someone when they getting bullied.
Being a good neighbor means being kind and friendly.
- As a father and as a grandfather, I truly appreciate PBS because it gives you educational tools.
It gives you great programming to really grow up with.
And with PBS being here right now, it's a great opportunity for our viewers to get to know a little bit of more history about Nashville and how Nashville supports other communities such as the African communities.
- I love that Nashville PBS provides us with trusted information.
They celebrate the culture and the arts in our communities, family, literacy, community are so important.
I think PBS does such a great job offering educational programs and opportunities at every level.
