Kelly Kowaleski creates "memory" teddy bears from the gently worn clothes of loved ones.
Kelly Kowaleski used to sew every day. It was her passion. The loss of her 15-year-old son threw Kelly into a deep depression. She went months without picking up even a needle. Until one day she had enough. With a pile of her son’s gently worn clothes, Kelly began sewing again. She created stuffed bears she calls “Memory Bears.” Kelly now sews memory bears for people all over Wisconsin.
