- To be that professional artist you got to, it's a lot like being a a small business person and a small business itself.
It's just like one.
You're the business, so you've got to find a way to eat, survive, buy materials, experience, sell the work, hoping someone cares enough about it that they'd wanna have it in their living space or their workspace, and can give you something so you can then buy more materials, feed your family.
But I knew those factors were there and I had to learn it.
I'm still in the process of learning, but it really was worthwhile for me to make that commitment, maybe not always wise, but make that commitment that I was going to give it a try.
That I was gonna see if I can live the life and live the love of making art, and at the same time, be able to survive in an economics environment.
