Pecans are already a crowd favorite but when you add a touch of ginger they become absolutely irresistible.
To get started, preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spread the pecans in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes or until the pecans are fragrant and lightly toasted.
In a bowl, combine half a cup of sugar, one teaspoon of ground ginger, and two teaspoons of salt.
Next, into a large sauce pan add two tablespoons of honey, two tablespoons of water, and two teaspoons of neutral oil, and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat to medium and add your roasted pecans.
Once the liquid has evaporated, transfer the pecans to the bowl with your ginger mixture and toss to combine.
Finally, spread the pecans back onto a parchment-lined tray and let cool completely.
And there you have it.
These ginger pecans make a fantastic snack on their own or you can bag them up to make a perfect gift at your next fall gathering, enjoy.
