Black Nouveau explores the "We Got This" project, a community garden program in Milwaukee’s 53206 zip code at 9th and Ring. In 2014 Andre Lee Ellis founded the project funded by community donations to give young black men a sense of community and purpose. What began as a program with a small paid crew of boys cleaning up their neighborhood and learning about gardening has blossomed.
