A journalist in Tokyo fights to report honestly on growing tensions before WWII.

(1945) The thriller starring James Cagney and Sylvia Sidney tells the story of reporter Nick Condon who is determined to expose the Japanese government’s imperialistic scheme. When authorities seize his exposé on their world-domination plans, Condon finds himself on the run from government officers who will end him. Along the way to the embassy, he receives some help and meets an enigmatic woman.
