Republicans argue public needs direct access to hold the board accountable

One of the last holdouts conducting virtual meetings rather than in person is the State Board of Education. And that has Republican lawmakers wondering what's up. "I don't know what their logic is," said Senate Minority Leader Steve Oroho (R-Sussex), as he and other Republicans urge the board to return to in-person public meetings.
