He has performed, recorded, and toured as both a leader and a sideman with several world-class musicians throughout the U.S. and Canada. Wiens has studied under John Riley, Joe Farnsworth, Kenny Washington, Jim White, Dylan van der Schyff, Jon McCaslin, and Memo Acevedo, among others.
