The book across the Bay rays and the new Winter Carnival.
unfortunately, the race did have to get canceled today.
So what we're doing here now is we're having a great big party on the lake, with food trucks, local live music, craft vendors and lots of locally brewed beers.
And we're going to have luminaries out on the lake instead of out on the course.
So this year, the main objective was to get as many folks in the community involved as possible.
There's an immense effort that goes into this.
So many people, the folks who founded the race, and then all of the volunteers, they've been out there testing the ice, grooming the trail for more than a week, week and a half, maybe two weeks.
Well, we just really, really appreciate everyone coming out and we hope to make this a wonderful Chequamegon Bay community event The slice from PBS North.
