Pfizer COVID booster gets cold shoulder from health official

The key, according to health officials, is for people to get vaccinated to stop mutation.
Health officials gave the cold shoulder to Pfizer's announcement it would seek approval for a COVID booster, a third shot of its current vaccine, to extend immunity to the coronavirus. The CDC's director noted Americans don't need a booster, yet. Pfizer also announced it's planning clinical trials for a revamped vaccine that specifically targets the fast-spreading delta COVID variant.
