Both Sides Weigh In On Changes To Landlord-Tenant Law

Ron Hegwood and Aaron Romens discuss changes to the state’s landlord-tenant law.

Governor Walker signed changes of current landlord-tenant law. Weighing in on these changes is Ron Hegwood, of the Apartment Association of Southeast Wisconsin, and Aaron Romens, of the Tenant Resource Center. Hegwood says the changes stop tenants from not paying rent for an unvalidated reason. Romens says the inspections which the law affects are important for renter safety.
